"Aerith's Theme" composed by Nobuo Uematsu and covered by SongeLeReverur.
Credited to SquareSoft/Square Enix for character.
» Name: Aerith Gainsborough
» Titles: The Flower Peddler, A Strange Girl of the Slums
» Age: 22
» Gender: Female
» Affiliation/Rank: Independent.
» Appearance Description: Aerith is a human woman in her early twenties. Though she looks normal for most, she carries a different shape of aura accompanied with a different feel to it. Immediately, the aura is absent and only appears when she is praying. When approaching her, she carries a kind smile with her lips coated in a pink lipstick. At first, her eyes are dull with green, but when her aura is present, her eyes glows into an illuminating pair of green rings of light. With her bangs arching outward forward and parts of her hair twisting and spiraling down for each side, her brunette hair fluently spiraled and twisted into a high ponytail that extends down nearly down to her thigh in length while locked by a red band between the bulb-end and a pink hair ribbon at the base of her ponytail that flutters like a butterfly as she moves. Other than the pink makeup lightly evident on her face, her yellowish light skin indicated that she was indeed born oriental, but something says otherwise about her like she was not of this world.
Covering her modestly fit figure, she usually donned on pink and red clothing with a pair of metal bangles and a pair of boots that seemed oddly big for her feet. At an occasion, she can be seen wearing a white and blue sleeveless dress that is hung from two straps over her shoulders with a pair of white platform sandals that is raked down-forward to tighten up her legs and rise her butt to make her figure look more pronounced. Casually, she wears a pink hooded sweater and a pair of denim jeans with her brown leather boots that laps over the jeans' sleeve-ends. For when she travels or goes adventuring, she is generally seen wearing a pink sleeveless dress that can button down to almost bottom of the dress, but she prefers to keep at least two buttons unbuttoned so she can move around while the dress hangs from the shoulders by two straps. Along with the dress, she can wear a purple belt that would usually be loose, a red bolero jacket with a metal band at the end of the sleeves that only extends to half of her biceps; note she has a second red bolero jacket that has the leather belts as replacement for the metal bands. Though her legs are not covered underneath the dress, she has her boots to keep her feet protected from the elements along with a pair of metal bangles that seems to cone downward. Alternatively, she has a halterneck dress that has three colors to the scheme; red, white and pink as it layers from a long tank top that extends down to covering her pelvis, a pink skirt with a white ring around the middle that extends from the hips to over the knees while it laps over a white skirt that covers the top part of her shins. At times, she wears multiple metal rings around her left forearm. Around her neck is a pink choker tied by a slim black lace that is tied similarly to her pink hair ribbon as the two ends are almost meeting the cleavage in terms of length when tied.
Always by her side is a staff that is made of hardened steel while leather wraps around three locations, one on each base that connects the stock and the headpiece, and the centerpiece of the staff. Normally, she uses it as a form of protecting herself from thugs and criminals of the slums outside Karakura Central's dome and to support herself as a walking stick. Due to her using it as a walking stick more than fighting, she usually handles it with her right hand gripping the centerpiece and her left hand gripping on of the ends by the leather straps. Her fighting experience allows her to flip her right hand either for easy use in physical combat or in magical uses. When she casts a spell, she allows her staff to float horizontally before her as she channels her energy with her hands extended outward and opened palms facing forward. When she prays, she would either stand for quick ones or sit on her knees and clasps her hands together as she looks down with eyes closed for long ones or to communicate deeply to someone, using the planet as the medium for the attempt.

» Personality: Aerith is originally an outgoing and upbeat, where she has the enthusiasm and the energy to see a brighter side of things, especially for her friends. She would even attempt several times to try and cheer her friends up when they are down or broken up. Due to her connection with the planet (aka EARTH!) Aerith is likely to exemplify some personality quirks from time to time like fearing corporate power (blame Shinra Corporation,) and wondering about an odd creature named, "Chocobo." While her presence is otherworldly, she clearly has otherworldly knowledge like comparing the Soul Cycle with the "Life Stream." It is clearly unknown if it was true or not, or if the power she has for her aura could have been the hidden potential of the Soul Cycle. She has a touch of curiosity where she would listen inevitably when someone is theorizing or telling a thesis of discovered facts, along with minor stuff that would be outside her own knowledge. Nothing was known if she was faithful or free-spirited, she would claim to still have feelings for someone (Zack Fair,) while she is waiting for someone to come back (Cloud Strife.) What is notable is that she is willing to make new friends and do her best to help them. Along the line, she has a subtle form of savvy personality trait where if she decided on something, she would be stubborn enough to take off on her own and it would take time to convince her otherwise while she even claimed and proven that she can take care of herself as back in Sector 5 of Midgard, she is capable of fighting off Shinra Troops without Cloud Strife's help in her church.
In her arrival to Earth, she was bewildered and would admit that along with the line, "I don't know how I end up in this slums and how I was alive once again," noting that she died before by the sword of Sephiroth Crescent. When she noticed her church, she reverts back to the time when she was peddling flowers and cultivating them under the floorboards of the church. As she does so, she has done some exploring of the slums and manages to find her way into the city known to her as "Karakura." From there, she would peddle flowers to passing people for 1 yen each flower. This marks her as an independent woman with the strength to carry her own weight. The only mystery now is how she ends up from her world and onto the world where spirits and humans are in the calm before the storm.
» Likes: She still has feelings for Zack Fair and Cloud Strife with affection and for Tifa with sisterly admiration. People like Cid Highwind, Red XIII, and Barret are great friends of hers. If she runs into a character that uses the faceclaim relating to her friends (including Vincent and Yuffie,) she would note that they look very familiar, but denotes that they are not what she thought they are on a notion that she is long gone from them and she would never see them again. She likes cultivating her bed of flowers and meeting new people. Given to her past, it would be a great satisfaction if she has done something that would help the planet or even saving it from destruction.
» Dislikes: While she is reluctant to the idea that she is the last of her kind once again, she knows from her past that Sephiroth Crescent is her mortal enemy by fate as it is Sephiroth who killed her and tried to use the City of the Ancients to summon Meteor with the Black Materia stolen from Cloud Strife when Aerith tried to bid the mind-controlled friend not to give it to Sephiroth. Because of that, Aerith has to use the White Materia to summon Holy and was killed for that while later, Sephiroth committed an unforgivable act by poisoning the people with a disease that kills them faster than she can heal; she will never forgive him for that. She usually remembered corporate powers as evil and used to go after her for her ability to further their progression on a secret project or agenda.

» Background: Aerith was originally born in a world separate from Earth and even the Soul Society as she was born to a former Shinra Professor, Gast Faremis and a Cetra Mother, Ifalna, making her half-Cetra at birth in the Icicle Inn, February 7th, 1985. Twenty days after her birth, Professor Hojo and a team of Shinra's troops raided the inn, killing Gast Faremis and taking Ifalna away with Aerith. At Midgard, Aerith, along with her mother were subjected to serial experiments that Hojo theorized would benefit Shinra greatly. When Aerith is seven years old, she and Ifalna escaped Shinra into Sector 7, but Ifalna was wounded in the process and died as a stranger, Elmyra Gainsborough promised to take care of Aerith. At the time, Elmyra was waiting for her husband's return from the Wutai War. Unknowingly escaped Shinra, Elmyra Gainsborough took Aerith with her into Sector 5, where Aerith became from Aerith Faremis to Aerith Gainsborough as Elmyra became her foster mother.
As the years passed on, Elmyra raised Aerith alone until she is relocated with an offer from Tseng of the Turks to join Shinra willingly through persuasion and referencing her as his friend. She refused to join Shinra while the Wutai War still is ongoing. A project that Aerith would have been in a critical role for was put on hold because the war was consuming too much of Midgar's resources. While growing up, she was aware of her Cetra heritage, but she tried to hide it as she is reluctant to admit that she can hear the Planet speaking to her. She just cultivates flowers from the dirt underneath the church's floorboards while spending a great deal of time in the church of Sector 5; despite the fact that Shinra used Mako Reactors to the point that the dirt is barren, she succeeded miraculously as flowers are in full bloom.
Aerith is fifteen year old in the year 0000 (last year was 1999) when she met a member of SOLDIER named Zack Fair, who fell from Make Reactor 5 and into her church. Despite the compliment of being mistaken for an angel, Aerith declines the suggested repayment of a date with Zack Fair and chose to show him around the slums instead. During that time, Zack Fair became the person who gave her the pink hair ribbon that she always wear even to this date. In Sector 6, Aerith admitted to Zack that she was afraid of SOLDIER because she believed them to be experiments who love to fight, only to discover from Zack Fair that he is from SOLDIER, prompting Aerith to apologize immediately. Because of the awkwardness of the misconception, Aerith chose to break the silence with a meek compliment about Zack's eyes being beautiful. Zack chose to tease her by allowing her to have a closer look at his eyes, which Aerith's curiosity draws the pair nearer and nearer...before she became aware of the tease and pushes him away for that. After Zack compared his eyes to the sky, Aerith comments that they are not scary at all. Zack and Aerith part ways when Zack is called back to duty.
For the next two years, Aerith and Zack frequently contacted each other over his cellphone and seeing each other in her church. After the death of Zack's friend, Angeal, Aerith comforts Zack as he mourned. Later, Zack suggested that Aerith should sell flowers to make money because flowers are rare and considered a luxury item. Because she was afraid of the open sky, she was reluctant to sell flowers above the plates. Using the flower cart that Zack built for her, Aerith and Zack went around the slums, but with no avail in selling the flowers. Willing to confess, but does not know how to phrase them, Aerith asked Zack for "a few tiny wishes," which was replied with a suggestion from Zack to write them down on a piece of paper for him to read as Zack was eventually dispatched with Sephiroth to Nibelheim, Cloud Strife's and Tifa's hometown. Later on in the years, Aerith overcomes her fears and began selling her flowers above the plate, one flower at a time for one gil each.
Later on, Aerith met Rude while he was on a date with Chelsea and on August 9th, 0002, she met a Turk like Tseng and Rude. She tells the Turk agent that she wishes to leave Midgar and see the world because the wind is calling for her. However, the Turk then helps Aerith evade a search party from a terrorist group called, AVALANCHE. Eventually, the Turk agent was defeated by a member of AVALANCHE named, Shears, before he took her to the Sector 5 Church to meet AVALANCHE's leader, Elfe. Elfe explains the plan to take down Shinra and protect the Promised Land, but the ploy to recruit Aerith was foiled when the Turk agent was discovered and defeated Shears and another member of AVALANCHE, Fuhito. After that battle, Elfe ordered a retreat when he was stricken by a sudden weakness. Tseng arrived as both him and the Turk agent allowed her to flee while they handle Elfe and the AVALANCHE members.
Years after the event, Aerith returns to her daily life of selling flowers and sending letters to Zack. One of them was sent by a copy of Zack's friend, Angeal, but the rest of the ninety letters fell in possession of Tseng, who was Zack's Handler who planned to find and save Zack so he can live and read these letters, but he and the Turks ultimately failed to find and save Zack as Shinra Troops killed him without Aerith's knowledge. Due to her connection to the Planet, Aerith sensed a bad feeling, but was unable to decipher what is it.
On December 9th, 0007, Aerith is twenty-two years old still peddling flowers for one gil each. When Sector 1's Reactor was bombed, she met Cloud Strife as he was fleeing. During the chaos, Cloud Strife buys a flower from her and ran off. Eventually, the two met once again as deja vu strikes upon Aerith as Cloud Strife crashes into her church after a failed bombing of Sector 5's Reactor. When the Turk agent, Reno came with troops to apprehend Aerith, Aerith asks Cloud to be her bodyguard with a reward of a date, something that she brushed off with Zack Fair seven years ago. Aerith faced the troops with Cloud during their escape, which revealed her capability of defending herself ultimately on her own. During the night after Cloud took her home, Aerith sneaked out and heads Cloud off before Aerith was accepted into the newer generation of AVALANCHE, who already have a bad reputation because of their previous generation that was eliminated by the Turks. While taking a break in the playground, Aerith noticed a woman in a chocobo cart, which Cloud noted to be Tifa, who at the time was believed to be kidnapped by Don Corneo. When they arrived, they are blocked from entering because Cloud Strife is a guy and only girls (other than his underlings) are allowed to enter. Aerith had an idea and cross-dressed Cloud Strife as a girl for them to enter. They soon discovered that Tifa entered on her own free will and was trying to get information from Don Corneo about Shinra's plans.
After learning that Shinra is planning to wipe out Sector 7 by dropping its plate upon it, the trio raced through the sewers and tried to get AVALANCHE ready to defend Sector 7. At the time, Aerith took Marlene to safety while Marlene's foster father, Barret is helping Cloud and Tifa. While doing so, Aerith was ambushed and captured by her old "friend," Tseng. At the Shinra Headquarters, she discovered that Tifa, Cloud and Barret came to rescue her, but were captured as well; soon, Aerith's heritage was made known to the trio of rescuers. However, soon after, Sephiroth attacked Shinra and killed President Shinra and Aerith along with the rescuing trio and a new friend named, Red XIII or "Nanaki" escaped the headquarters and left Midgar, fulfilling her long wish to leave Midgar and see the world. Throughout their travels to pursue Sephiroth, Aerith became close to them as AVALANCHE considered her a precious asset to the group.
Upon visiting Cosmo Canyon, Aerith soon came to full terms with her heritage, powers and duties as the Last Cetra of the Planet. After tracking Sephiroth into the Forgotten Capital of the Cetra, Aerith and the group entered the Temple of the Ancients while Aerith uses her innate powers to figure out the temple's mysteries and eventually find the inner chamber of the temple. They found out from Sephiroth that he planned to use the Black Materia (soon to be) in Cloud's possession to summon Meteor, the Ultimate Black Magic capable of ending the Planet. The temple became the Black Materia and Sephiroth manipulated Cloud into giving him. Despite Aerith's attempt to convince Cloud otherwise, she failed as Cloud tried to kill her and passed out under the influence of Sephiroth. While unconscious, Aerith contacts him in his dreams that as the Last Cetra, only she can stop Sephiroth now and vanished from the group. Underneath the capital, Cloud and the others discovered another temple where Aerith was praying at the altar, calling forth Holy, the Ultimate White Magic. This time when Sephiroth tried to manipulate Cloud into killing Aerith, Cloud fought it off as Aerith finished her prayers. However, when she looks upon Cloud, Aerith felt a sharp pain in her back through the diaphragm. She looked down and found Sephiroth's sword that pierced her as she quickly lost her life.
While she was in the Life Stream, she fought against Sephiroth's influence, trying to cleanse the Life Stream of his taint while consoling the spirits of the dead. She eventually found Zack Fair and the two were united under a fateful truth that both of them are dead. Later on, she helped Tifa and Cloud when they fell into the Life Stream. As Holy was failing to stop Meteor, Aerith, with gathered allies and Zack used the Life Stream to aid Holy by pushing Meteor back and give Holy enough time to fully take effect and destroyed the Meteor. Although Sephiroth was believed to be killed by Cloud and his friends, Sephiroth avoided dissolution and tainted the Life Stream with Geostigma, a disease which spread upon the spirits of the dead in the Life Stream and eventually the people, who are at Midgar when the Life Stream helped Holy fought off the Meteor on top of Midgar. In response to the epidemic, Aerith tried to contain the damages being done in the Life Stream, but regardless of the help of other Cetra, including Ifalna, the victims began dying faster than Aerith and the Cetra could heal their spirits. Aerith resorted to calling Cloud to help her by curing the Planet of the Geostigma. Before, Aerith thought about using an avatar, but she then decided against it and rather meet Cloud as he remembers her.
When Aerith finds Cloud and Tifa wounded in Sector 5 Church's flower bed, Aerith fully healed them while they are unconscious, which left Tifa and Cloud in an enigma soon to conclude that it could be Aerith trying to reach them. She then attempted to contact Cloud while Cloud was rescuing the Children of Edge from a new enemy, Kadaj and two of his brothers, Loz and Yazoo. She questioned Cloud for coming and as Cloud answered about being forgiven, Aerith asked, "By who?" Before Cloud turned around to find Aerith, Aerith is already lost her time to connect him, leaving a message on Cloud's cellphone saying, "I never blamed you. Not once. You came for me...that's all that matters." However, Cloud did not get to see that message as the cellphone fell into the water during the fight against Kadaj and his brothers. Later on, Cloud was fighting Bahamut SIN, a summon by Kadaj to eliminate Cloud and his friends. Aerith aided Cloud defeat Bahamut SIN by warning him of Tifa's danger at the foundation and later on, transferring enough energy for Cloud to do so. After the battle, Aerith witnessed Cloud fighting Kadaj at Sector 5 Church once again. Kadaj destroyed the flowerbed in an attempt to use an energy blast to destroy Cloud, which releases a geyser of purified water that was full of Life Stream energy, which cured Cloud of the Geostigma and sent Kadaj fleeing. Following the demise of Sephiroth Reborn, Aerith called down healing rain over Edge, curing most of the people of Geostigma while using the people's cellphones to direct the children to Sector 5 Church through an unheard voice.
After the dissolution of Sephiroth and the curing of Geostigma, Aerith is finally at peace as she visits the Planet from the Life Stream to look at the flower field at the countryside, seeing the world as she wished long ago as she recently saw Cloud riding by on his motorcycle.
Platinum Hearts
While she was spending time with Zack Fair in the Life Stream, Aerith along with other Cetra began to hear a voice that seems like the Planet, but they know it is not the Planet. Leaving Zack Fair to find out what is going on, she met with her mother and the other Cetra to investigate. A phenomenon has occurred as Aerith discovered that Sephiroth did not dissolute, he just vanished instead as a few other Cetra are also gone as well. As she investigated further, she learned that the Life Stream became crowded because of the Geostigma and inadvertently opened a new pathway, a White Life Stream as the Cetra called it. Determined to find out what it is, she left Zack and the Cetra one message, "Everything's alright." Just as she said it to Cloud during the ending of the Geostigma Epidemic. Then she vanished, unsure of what the White Life Stream will take her. For all she knows, as the appointed "Goddess of Fate," Aerith traveled and ended up alive and in a modernistic town outside a dome city. As she discovered her Sector 5 Church before her, her story begins as she finds out what of the White Life Stream and of Sephiroth's fate.

» Natural Attributes: Aerith has an attuned connection to nature and ultimately the planet. When it comes to the Nature Iramasha, they can easily detect her and speak to her telepathically as she can vice versa while she can hear the planet speaking to her as she communicates back through prayers. The anomalous thing she can do is communicating through technological communicators like...a cellphone? Like spiritual awareness, Aerith is capable of detecting spirits and entities that are connected to the planet through nature. Given to her strong connection, she can use Anima Sorcery more proficiently, making any of her spells strong enough to battle those that are stronger than her while any of her Anima Sorcery is equally as strong as the other, but at a cost of her physical combat skills. When she prays, her aura appears forth from the ground around her and spreads out like plant-like tentacles that can phase by anyone who is trying to make contact with them. Strangely, the aural tentacles are quite selective as Aerith would explain that they only seek those who are chosen by the planet to be its savior and if chosen by the planet, the individual(s) touched by the aura will have their spiritual body restored at a rapid rate while given a strength beyond their own, which Aerith claims to be their "limit break." In layman's term, if a Shinigami receives a Limit Break, they can double the strength of their next attack, support or defense, or ultimately learned a new kind of ability linked to the limit break.
Summary List
- Attuned to Nature.
- Has telepathy with the planet and Nature Iramasha.
- Can contact someone by their cellphone without having one (method unknown.)
- Strong Anima Sorcerer
- Selective Aura and only appears when Aerith prays.
- Aura can heal "those chosen by the planet."
- Aura can grant new ability or double the chosen's strength for next attempt.
» Racial Powers: Hidden in her pink hair ribbon is a white marble-like Anima Stone, which Aerith believed to be her long lost White Materia that was given to her in her past life. Due to that, her strong belief and emotional attachment (along with her strong proficiency in Anima Sorcery) allowed her Anima Stone to be tougher than it appears, when the Soul Cycle (or White Life Stream as Aerith called it,) is in play during any instance, the White Materia glows, making her pink hair ribbon inadvertently glowed with her green eyes.
The sorcery that she uses are usually connected to the Planet, so she would be perceived as a Nature-based caster or a healer, but she also has some remnants of powers of the Gods, thus whenever she prayed, she acquires a limit break that allows her to do special spells that mainly protects, cures and heals the entire group she is a part of.
Soul Dash is very mild for her, thus she does not have the kind that is worth of being called "flash step," but it allows her to sprint faster than normal for lesser amount of stress to her body.
As explained above, she has a special kind of detecting that allows her to detect both living and spiritual entities with little effort and at a very vast range. She does so by communing to the planet Earth and the Soul Cycle passively and receiving warnings and insights that are often mistaken by others to be "premonition" or the ability to "see into the future."
Summary ListKnown Anima Sorcery
- Her Anima Stone is a very strong white marble hidden in her pink hair ribbon.
- The Anima Stone glows when Soul Cycle is involved or when she prays.
- Her Sorcery is based on Nature, Life and God.
- Soul Dash is enhanced sprinting, not flash step.
- She can detect everything at any distance.
- Can preemptively act before something happens.

» Roleplay Sample: (Casual Version) It is morning at her home as Aerith rises from her bed. Her long, brown, wavy hair loosely sways a bit before it droops down as she lifts herself off her bed. Normally, the slums would imply crooked structures and poorly kept neighborhood, but around her new home at Karakura Central, it is different. The dangers are the same as it was back in Midgar, but the town that was once called, Karakura Town was more modernized houses and streets than shacks, pipes and dirt. Though still, her abode is still decorated with flowers that she grew and cultivated from the soil underneath the floorboards of her church. The first mystery upon arrival is the church; in fact, it was the same church that she grew up and known about for years, even before she met Zack. How did it end up here? It is supposed to be back at what is left of Sector 5 in Midgar. Maybe with luck, the answer will come to her soon enough.
As Aerith walks to her vanity, she looks into the mirror as she sits down on a chair while in pink pajama button-up shirt and slacks. The white inner layer of the shirt peeks out from the collar folded down as she strokes her hair as to find any tangle or knot in them. In a fantasy, she would have been able to find no knots, but in this reality, she can spot some clumps in her hair as she normally toss and turn in her bed, having nightmares about not being able to come back to her mother and her friends, back to the Life Stream of the Planet. Grabbing the brush on her right hand side, she begins brushing and stroking with repeats after repeats. Later on, she began twisting her hair and tied off the end with a red hairband before completing it with a pink hair ribbon that most people would recognize her for. She then slips a white marble, her "White Materia" underneath her hair ribbon. She gets up and looks at the window to see it was closed and it is along with the curtains, thus her privacy is safe. She takes off her pajamas and switches over to her casual pink hoodie and denim jeans. While wearing her white socks, Aerith goes down stairs to the kitchen, where makes her breakfast of cereal, toasts and orange juice from the grocery that she bought from her hard earning with her floral peddling at the downtown area of Karakura Central. From there, she bids bon appetite to herself and eat what she bought because it is her earnings being invested.
(Combat Version) Later after her breakfast, Aerith was walking with her large leather boots on, a basket hanging from her left forearm, and a metallic walking staff that she called, "the Guard's Staff." Despite the modernized locale, it is still called the slums and as one, she has to be ready for anything like muggers, thugs, thieves, and more. The last thing she needed is being attacked by something strong and just looking to blow off steam because in the slums, there is no protection from the dome, so the only thing one can count on is an able-bodied person who can defend themselves or the ever-late authority figures. It reminds her a lot of the times that she was in the middle of two conflicts because of her powers. One was from the old group of eco-terrorist group called, AVALANCHE led by Elfe and another was from Shinra Corporation who sought to use her for something while Cloud and the others are fighting against Shinra, only to be pursuing a black-caped, fallen hero named, Sephiroth. This time around, she has to look out for herself as she promised herself that she will even before she entered this world. As she makes her way to the church, Aerith listens closely for any signs of trouble. Closer and closer, Aerith is closing in on the church's location while there is no trouble yet. Perhaps they have overslept and if that is the case, she can relax. However, she is wrong of course.
Hearing from the passing breeze to run, Aerith uses her soul dash to dart across over thirty feet in three seconds, leaving a plume of dust behind each step she took to get there. Quickly after she passes, two men jump out of hiding from the alleyway, both having confidence as they wield pocket knives; Aerith (who already twenty-eight feet in distance from the men) turns around to face them as she places the basket off to the side. "Hey, girl! If you have the yen, I can cut you a deal!" Said the bandanna man as the two men creeps closer, seemingly inches by inches. Aerith holds out her hands and let the guard's staff float before her hands as she chants, Manifesto Aeris Es...Manifesto Aqua Es...Manifesto Flamma Es... as a ring of blue light surrounds her as a magical circle while an orb of swirling cloud forms up in front of her staff. Soon the white clouds darkens before it explodes into an orb with electrical rings. "Bolt!" Aerith calls out as the orb dissipates and a lightning bolt crashes down upon the bandanna man, causing him to stop, twitch and fall into unconsciousness. The other man courageously charges at Aerith, ready to gut her for "killing" his friend as Aerith readies herself for close quarter combat.
With her left hand and right hand gripping around the centerpiece's leather wrappings, Aerith steps back a bit by one step and her weapon is held out in front; despite all her battles, she was not properly trained to fight at close quarter. She has limited options for this and she has to act quickly; that is what she did. She rushes forward, kicking up dust as the man and Aerith are bound to collide. Her eyes leering into his furious eyes as the man shouts out in a battlecry while Aerith replies in kind. The man reels back his knife as Aerith rises her staff above her head. Closer and closer, they are closing in on the conclusion of the battle. Aerith leaps forwards while the man lunges out and in matter of less than a second, one weapon collided. It was Aerith's staff who connected first as the man's head was hit by the staff's headpiece, causing the man to stray his knife away and drop it to the ground as he falls over with Aerith landing shortly before his head before catching herself from falling backwards from the abrupt landing. With her left hand, Aerith brushes her shoulders off and adjusts her hair before placing her left hand over her bosoms to let out a breathe of relief while the staff was by her side, gripped by her right hand. Aerith turns to her basket and retrieves it before walking off with two pouches containing some yen from the muggers. She is back on her path to the church with a bit of wealth added to her future budget.
