Madness City: Shinigami Rep!! (Tsumi and JJ)

This city was truly mad. But then, maybe that made Tsumi look all the more sane. After all, who would willingly talk to a boy with an incomplete soul, especially when he was part of the GOTEI 13?! Though, his body was just like the next guy’s, so that was a plus. But then, one would think that training without most of your SOUL would at least make you stronger. However, it was very hard to find comfort, when 25 others just like him were running around, hoping to drive a blade through his heart, each with some strange power or ability. Though Tsumi had yet to discover his own power, he knew that if he could not train in peace, then the others would catch up to him even sooner. No pressure, or anything.

His past was not something he liked to talk about, so he decided to cast it aside, for the time being. Rather, he decided to focus on where exactly he was at the moment. He had done a good deal of wandering, and was now lost in a strange city. Everyone here was even crazier than HE was. “And THAT’s saying something.” Said Z, the consciousness that Tsumi had inherited during the reincarnation of his previous life, Project Z.

Around Tsumi, the city itself seemed to be undulating, almost as if it were a living thing, with a heartbeat. If one listened, they could almost hear the thumping of the heart of the city. Tsumi yawned, searching the fog for any sign of life. “Well, if this city’s alive, then I suppose there’s no reason why everything in it WOULDN’T be mad!” Tsumi shouted, to no one in particular. Maybe the madness was getting to him, too. Maybe that wouldn’t be such a bad thing…

Tsumi’s thoughts were interrupted, however, by a hand, which placed itself upon his shoulder. Tsumi held up his right hand, checking the reflection of his metal gloves. Through the fog, and the hazy reflection, Tsumi could just make out a mischievous smile gracing the mouth of the person behind him.

“Who are you? Are you of Project CHAOS?’ Tsumi said, shakily. As he said this, he slowly turned around, arching his wrist backward ever so slightly.

"I don't have any clue whatsoever what that is, so nope. Just lil' old Kuro Okami, Squad One Lieutenant." Tsumi breathed a sigh of relief. One less person who wanted him dead. A member of Gotei 13, nonetheless! “I’m Tsumi Buredo, Squad Three, Third Seat! Nice to meet you!” Said Tsumi, giving a big thumbs-up. “Could you think of nothing cheesier than a thumbs-up? WHO DOES THAT?” Said Z, ever the optimist.

"This reminds me of a confrontation with a monster." Monsters. Heh. It looked to be something that troubled the man, so Tsumi decided not to press the matter. "So yeah. Our instructions are pretty simple. Hollows are swarming here like flies on a horse butt, and we need to do our jobs." Tsumi smiled, grateful that he was finally gonna give the hollows a taste of what he could do, now that he was stronger. ”Finally, some action.” "So what are you able to use? Shikai, Bankai, Kidō level? Alright with shunpo?" Tsumi arched his wrist, revealing his weapon. “I’m new. Haven’t even unlocked my Shikai yet, but don’t underestimate me! Someday, I’m gonna be strong enough to protect all my friends! And when that happens, I’m gonna rebuild my home village!”

Kuro spun around, and a pistol appeared in his hand. "I'm a Ziamichi Shinigami. Have Bankai plus Piero's stuff; don't use Kidō much but I am very, very fast." Tsumi’s mouth was in an O. ”Looks like you’re the superior here, in more ways than one! Maybe you could show me some pointers on combat, sometime?” Tsumi’s thoughts were interrupted, however, as Kuro fired at some oncoming hollows.

"So why're you named after sin, anyway?" Asked Kuro, backing up next to Tsumi. Tsumi scaled one of the buildings nearby, and called down “I’m named after the sword that killed me, in a past life!” As he said this, he ran across the building, jumped off, and landed on a hollow that was standing in the back of the crowd. As he landed, he sunk his blade into what would be considered the forehead of the hollow’s mask.

"Well that's great." said Kuro, at the mention of Tsumi’s ambition. Kuro’s gaze softened for a moment, and he seemed to be lost in thought. "That would be fun." he said, in reply to giving Tsumi pointers. “First pointer…” he said, holding out his hand. [color=yellow]”Hadō 4: Byakurai.”[/yellow] From his hand, a bolt of lightning shot forward. Tsumi’s eyes widened. “Whoa! That’s really REALLY cool! Tsumi said, sincerely admiring this man.

Tsumi returned to the task at hand, namely, the hollow he was targeting. He jumped toward the hollow, shooting his blade out of it’s socket (connected to a chain). It stuck into the hollow’s mask, and Tsumi used this momentum to swing around, back onto the building he jumped from. From here, he pointed two fingers at another hollow, attempting to try what Kuro had just done. “Ok…… Hadō 4: Byakurai! It was not to be, however, as rather than any glorious magic, instead, he received an explosion, directly in front of him. “ow….. What am I missing?” Tsumi called to Kuro, sadly.
