Personality: Akali holds a very stern and powerful personality as she does things by the rulebook and personally believes in perfect symmetry. She wants the perfect balance and believes that for the world to keep moving, balance must be maintained between Good and Evil. She holds no mercy for slaying down those whom are doomed by her blade, and she only assists her allies that share her mission. She isn't very friendly when it comes to holding bonds, but she can hold a decent conversation without losing her wits.

After many years within the Onmitsukido, Akali managed to adjust herself perfectly to the rules of the order, as she doesn't have many bonds, she doesn't talk much, and she keeps herself very quiet and in place. She has no problem discaplining students whom are out of order and will set them straight with force. Sometimes, when angered she will think irrationally and be blind about her strategy making her still young, but overall foolish if toyed with her emotions. She is VERY closed off from the world, and holds only one major goal, and that is to see and learn from her ancestors as best as she can!

Appearance:



Akali stands at 5' and 4" weighing about 105lbs. She has long blond hair, and deadly green eyes. She always wears a ninja outfit that is yellow and stands out, as she likes to separate herself from the other Onmitsukido members in the area. The mask is to assist in bluffs, as when speaking to anyone, expression can mean many different things. Wearing the mask assists in keeping inconspicuous and mysterious.

Zanpakutô Spirit:


It's name is Shio, and he's a being of symmetry. He believes in balance between death and life, and is the power behind Akali. His personality is that of pure silence and mystery. He doesn't speak to Akali, instead he just nods and shakes his head. His silence is something that Akali doesn't know anything about, but when she calls for his power, it comes full force. The world that Shio is in is called the City of Twilight. The Twilight represents perfect symmetry between power and it stays that way all the time. The world between good and evil.

Sealed Zanpakutô : Akali's weapon is actually a single Kunai that is two different colors. The left half with the tip down is white, while the right is black. Again, it represents balance.

Shikai Description: When she calls out for Shio's power, she gains two oversized Kamas that look as deadly as they represent. The blades are both black and the handles are wrapped in a dark leather. The blades are about a foot and a half in length while the handles are 2 feet long. She now holds in her hands, the twin disciplines.

Shikai Abilities:

Passive: Akali has two passive abilities in her Shikai state. One is whenever she damages someone, and their blood is released from the skin binding it to their bodies, the left Kama will glow orange as her attack power is now doubled. Every strike is potentially a lethal one, and will provide more power and dexterity to her strikes. The second is when she manages to dodge an attack, the other Kama will glow green as for now, she is able to dodge at double the speed. Her senses rise allowing her to see 360 degrees and in a slower movement speed allowing for reaction time. Imagine a kind of Spidey sense thing here.

Mark of the Assassin: When in combat, Akali can mark one opponent with her senses, as she enters a kind of trance that makes her focus on one opponent instead of any others. When she focuses on this opponent, her speed increases as well as her attack power, allowing her to end them quickly and so she can move on to the next subject. The mark can be placed roughly 300 meters away and will stay on target till they are either dead or till the marked opponent or Akali flee. She can remove the mark at will, but most likely she wont as she will want to end the subject quickly.

Twilight Shroud: Akali will become hidden by all levels of spiritual pressure and senses allowing her to strike her enemy quickly and powerfully. The shroud is only 100 meters in diameter taking up a large area, even in the air, but if Akali leaves the shroud, then she will be seen about 20 meters from the shroud, meaning, she can run out of is, but as long as she is within 20 meters of the Shroud, she will stay masked.

Crescent Slash: Akali will throw her Kama's and they will fly just like Hisagi's wind scythes. Akali can make them fly in a crescent fashion either left to right, right to left, up and back down, or visa-versa. If they are caught they will immediately cause internal damage to whomever touches them, except for the master. If the blades are somehow hit off coarse of the Crescent path, they will disappear and reappear in Akali's hands.

History/Background:

When born, Akali was born in 2026 after the fall of Aizen and the world was restored to balance. In this time, Akali was the child born into a small clan of humans on the outskirts of Mount Fuji. This Clan was known as the Kinkou, and was a tribe of Ninjas that were raised on the traditions of their ancestors. Akali's mother was famous within the village and was known as the Blade of Shadow. Her mothers assassination skills were amazing as within one brisk movement she would erase her targets and be gone without a trace. The traditions of this clan was from the old 1200's where a woman named Tomaya Kimura, a ninja from the times who died in a tragic war in the feudal area next to her husband. As history dictates, she had a child named Senna who was with two others named Ceon and Claire, but their bodies were never found, and it was even shown through science of the body of Tomaya that she never had a child. It was like the children never existed. The history of the Clan has been dated for many millenniums and would carry for eons. Akali and her family had an important role within this era, as the goal of the Kinkou were to keep balance within the world and keep Yin and Yang at perfect balance.

When Akali was four years old, she managed to create a fist of power and thus she was looked down with smiles by her mother. A prodigal martial artist, Akali began training with her mother as soon as she could make a fist. Her mother's discipline was relentless and unforgiving, but predicated on the fundamental principle: "We do that which must be done." When the Kinkou inducted her into the order at the age of fourteen, she could slice a dangling chain with a chop of her hand. There was no question – she would succeed her mother as the Fist of Shadow. She has had to do much in this role which others might find morally questionable, but to her it is in service of her mother's inviolable doctrine. Finally being noticed as a member of the Order of the Kinkou, she stood by her mothers side as Akali the Fist of Shadow. On Akali's first outing, Akali watched as her mother held to her title. Removing targets left and right, Akali was stunned at the abilites her mother held. Akali wanted to be just like her mother in so many ways. Years went by and Akali was now 17 as she become more powerful with her abilities as a Kunoichi. A Kunoichi is a female ninja that can potentially use their sexuality to assassinate their targets. Akali was indeed right behind her mother, but things took an odd turn as on the return of an outing, Akali and her mother returned to their clan going up in flames. Akali's mother noticed how her husband had died, and thus went on a rampage. Akali's mother forgot that when emotions are involved with battle, you made fatal mistakes. That proved correctly when Akali's mother was struck down by the one who burned down and destroyed their clan. It was one of the Order members who were payed by the Japanese government to remove them so businesses can build roads and many other things there. Akali being enraged as well, attacked foolishly as she was slain by the hands of their traitor, however, the foolish attack wasn't in vein, as Akali had explosions attached to her body. As she was stabbed through the heart, the traitor of their clan died with Akali, heading to hell for his misdeads, and ending the Kinkou right there.

When Akali entered the soul society she was very confused upon the life style and whatnot of the area. She didn't know how to live or survive outside of her skills from life. She instead of living in the Rukongai, escaped to the forests where she lived off the land. While out there, she was picked up my some masked individuals that captured her while she was fishing for her dinner one evening. Akali was taken to a very odd place where she looked to see a girl with a very stern attitude and black hair. Her name was Soi Fon, and she was the 2nd Division Captain of the Gotei 13 and the leader of the Onmitsukido. Soi Fon angerly asked what she was doing in the Onmitsukido training grounds, but when Akali was skeptical to respond, Soi Fon threw a Kunai right at her in frustration. Akali living off instincts caught the Kunai with her teeth and took a very familiar defensive combat stance. Her form reminded her of the 0 Division lead Ceon Clixx, so Soi Fon instead gave Akali a deal. Soi Fon sent Akali to the Shinigami Academy and Onmitsukido Training Grounds for work. Akali became accustomed to the styles and arts of the Shinigami and became welcome to it, but wasn't very comfortable with the fighting style of a samurai. While in the school, she was handed a special looking Kunai by Soi Fon. It was to be her Zanpaktou, as hidden within was a spirit that would give her power to slay her opponents. Not long after entering, Akali graduated the Soul Society and entered the Onmitsukido Training School to see the course that was set up by the previous 4th Squad Lead. A test that was nearly impossible to pass and would make most students leave the Onmistudkido, but instead Akali passed it without much effort. She ended up giving Soi Fon the kind of knowledge she needed to know about Akali. Akali somehow has the skills of the Legendary Ceon Clixx-Kimura. Not many years later, Akali went on many missions fighting along side of the 2nd Division and Onmitsukido. She would do wonderfully and on one of the missions, she was able to unlock her Shikai revealing to her the power that was within her. She proved to Soi Fon that this child was important and would do something big in her future.

Finally after 100+ years of service within the Onmitsukido, Soi Fon promoted Akali to the 4th Squad Lead, where she was now in charge of leading the training of the Onmitsukido students and train all members. Akali took it with honor and became a very powerful and an asset to the Onmitsukido. While in the 4th Squad, she looked the history of the Onmitsukido and Soul Society, and learned that there were individuals named Senna, Ceon, and Claire. After spending days to enter private archives and information, Akali became apparent that Ceon and Senna did live, and that they did in fact exist! She learned that her ancestors that hold her skills are within the Soul Society and thus she went to Soi Fon for answers. Soi Fon told Akali that yes Ceon does live and that he is the 0 Division lead, a position of one of the most powerful Shinigami in existence and that he's been there for years. Ceon is one to not mess with, and yet hearing that Akali instead became influenced. She set the goal right then and there that she will work under Ceon and learn all she can from his and Senna, but to do that she needed power. Time continues to roll on as she worked harder and trains harder to become a bond to the one she idolizes so.
