Personality: Riesbyfe is childish. She loves to go off and not do her job, ignoring the orders from her superior, Kageaki Minato. Ries would rather sleep in beside Sion than go to work. Sion is actually the one that forces her to go to work, normally with a bit of blackmail. Granted, Riesbyfe actually likes Minato in a strange way. She finds him to be quite funny, despite him solemnness. She's got a love for sweets that rivals Willy Wonka. She especially loves frozen treats. However, she truly loves sharing those sweets and treats with Sion.
Riesbyfe is friendly. Well, to be more specific, Riesbyfe is trusting of other people. She'd give money to a stranger, but she's not stupid enough to give the stranger too much money. Riesbyfe would not be a saint, but she isn't a person that'd steal candy from a child and then pop their shiny red balloon. Riesbyfe is also a bit...air-headed. She can keep a thought (as long as it isn't combat) for more than a few minutes. Her thoughts bounce from being about an airplane to lingerie to multiple-launch-rocket-systems.
Sion is the only thing Riesbyfe would give her life for. She loves her family, yes. However, Riesbyfe is not that protective of her family. This is because she knows that they can take care of themselves. Then again, she doesn't think Sion can't hold her own. In fact, Riesbyfe only does this so Sion won't have to fight, but Riesbyfe doesn't necessarily enjoy fighting. She enjoys being challenged in a spar to an extent, but she isn't one to ask for a spar or a fight. Riesbyfe doesn't carry around Gamaliel normally, so she relies on her savate rue skills to defend herself.
Riesbyfe is also determined to protect Sion. She died once protecting her, and she will do that as many times as it takes. Riesbyfe truly has a wild beast within her that comes out when Sion is in need of protection... or at least when Riesbyfe feels Sion needs protection. Granted, that beast also comes out somewhere else. She loves seeing Sion smile, which is hard to do. Ries wakes up earlier than Sion just to see her sleeping, where Ries says she's "third cutest." Riesbyfe will not hesitate to attack someone if they insult her family, herself, or Sion. She won't unleash that beast, but rather she'll fight like a wild tiger.

General Appearance

Appearance:

Riesbyfe took many traits from both of her parents. She has her mother's silk-smooth skin. She has her father's ash-grey hair while her hair's length is of her mother's when down. However, Riesbyfe keeps her hair in a loose ponytail. Ries's eyes are a fusion of her father's blue and her mother's purple. This ashen orchid-like color is not of the natural eye color spectrum, but Riesbyfe treasures her eyes. She has no scars or tattoos on her body, and would prefer to keep it that way. Riesbyfe's clothing is a design her mother made for her years ago, though Riesbyfe has picked up sewing and makes her own clothing nowadays. Her undershirt is a carbon nanotube tank-top with an open back save for one spot on her spine. Riesbyfe does not wear a bra, as it just restricts her movements. She has a pair of ivory-colored short shorts that she wears over her unmentionables, though she simply bought those. In order to prevent wear and tear on her legs, Riesbyfe wears a pair of carbon nanotube stockings that start a few centimeters above her knees. Riesbyfe's next layer is a white dress that is split in the front from the hips down. It has a dark grey plate that has the von Zarkonheinz crest on it that acts like a belt. Of course, her legs are not exposed. Riesbyfe's legs are covered by a pair of black khakis that lack pockets. They are tucked into her silver greaves, which are made of a titanium alloy. Ries has a half-jacket whose sleeves have a large white cross across them.

Savate: Riesbyfe is trained in unarmed combat, though her specialty is Savate. Savate (French pronunciation: savat), also known as boxe française, French boxing, French kickboxing or French footfighting, is a French martial art which uses the hands and feet as weapons combining elements of western boxing with graceful kicking techniques. Only foot kicks are allowed unlike some systems such as Muay Thai, and Silat which allow the use of the knees or shins. Savate takes its name from the French for "old boot" (heavy footwear that used to be worn during fights; cf. sabot and sabotage). The modern formalized form is mainly an amalgam of French street fighting techniques from the beginning of the 19th century. Savate did not begin as a sport, but as a form of self-defence and fought on the streets of Paris and Marseille. This type of savate was known as savate de rue. In addition to kicks and punches, training in savate de rue (savate defense) includes knee and elbow strikes along with locks, sweeps, throws, headbutts, and takedowns. There are six basic kinds of kicks, and four kinds of punches for savate de rue:
Kicks:
fouetté (literally "whip", roundhouse kick making contact with the toe), high (figure), medium (median) or low (bas)
chassé (side or front piston-action kick), high (figure), medium (median) or low (bas)
chassé italien (aimed at the opponent's inner thigh, with the toe pointed at the opponent's groin. Contrast the chassé bas lateral, which targets the front of the thigh.)
revers (frontal or lateral "reverse" or hooking kick making contact with the sole of the shoe), high (figure), medium (median), or low (bas)
coup de pied bas ("low kick", a front or sweep kick to the shin making contact with the inner edge of the shoe, performed with a characteristic backwards lean) low only, designed to break the shin bone.
coup de pied bas de frappe (coup de pied bas which is used to strike the opponent's lead leg).

Untainted Abilities:
Armor Summoning: Much like a knight-class Sugiura, Riesbyfe can summon armor to cover part of her body. However, this is nothing like a Knight's armor. It covers her breasts and stomach. She also manifests a pair of steel-knuckled gloves with a carbon nanotube fabric.
Gamaliel•Spear Key and Gun Shield: Riesbyfe's main weapon in her Untainted form is a cello-shaped pile bunker. It is unique as it does not have standard type of F-Holes. Instead, they are specially-made pegs with tiny holes and a pair of slots to allow it the same use as a normal cello. The entire piece is a very lightweight metal painted a deep, pure black and polished to be able to reflect things very clearly. The back of the cello is able to be removed to reveal its true form. The tail spike is an actual spice. In fact, it is a theoretical type of weapon known as a pile bunker. This is a large hydraulic system that fires a meter-long spike at high speed. It has qualities of a Quincy's arrow. This means that if she kills something, it is truly killed. It is not put into the Soul Cycle.

NOTE: Ries never got too far in her Sugiura States and Sion was not strong enough to summon her at full power, thus she does not have her Unleashed or Beast forms yet.

Past & Roleplay Sample

Character Background: Riesbyfe was born just over seven centuries ago. Her parents were not married and so she was shunned. However, Riesbyfe was not shunned by her father who took her under his wing. However, before she could do anything major with her father, he was promoted to the Lieutenant of the Thirteenth Division. Because he was swamped with paperwork from his predeccessor, he couldn't be a father to his newborn daughter. Thus, her father put her in the care of the Stridberg family.

They raised Riesbyfe as if she were their own daughter. She was taught their martial arts upon request of her biological father. Her father kept watch over her progress. However, the Stridbergs were moved to the Sugiura realm. Her father was certainly displeased, but he did know that it was the best for her. He saw her one more time, where he gave her a ring that was part of his Zanpakutō. It was too large for her finger, so it was made to be a necklace pendant. Riesbyfe left the Soul Society and entered the Sugiura Realm.

The Stridbergs did not have enough money to raise Ries in the Sugiura Realm. Riesbyfe then decided to help out by gaining income, where she was unsuccessful until... she applied for a Squire position. Her first job... was a dirty one. She was forced to go and try to apprehend a rogue Beast Sugiura that had escaped Atlas's control. Some of Atlas's own magi were working alongside Ries. Ries was the leader of the squires sent, but she was still under Atlas's lead magus in hierarchy. Ries made friends with the head magus, Sion Atlasia Osiris. Riesbyfe and Sion became rather close as the days and nights passed. Eventually, the two had an intimate encounter.
However, their happiness was about to be cut short. They finally cornered the beast, Zepia Eltnam Walachia. Within the first hour, all but Sion and Ries were massacred. For Sion to retreat, Riesbyfe charged at Zepia.

She impaled him on her weapon, however she was impaled on Zepia's own arm. It wasn't immediately fatal thanks to the ring on her necklace, thus she was able to activate the Pile Bunker she had been given. Riesbyfe had died. However, Sion used her magic, skill, and willpower to bring back her truest friend. Riesbyfe was of course confused, but she eventually... didn't care. She was with Sion, and she got a position under a quite solemn man in the Capitol Police.
