The Defenseless Genius
Tue Jun 26, 2012 3:44 pm
The girl sat, alone, on a single tree stump within the forest. She felt.. At ease. Nature around her seemed to flow by as if nothing had occurred as it truly did. Time was just a simple concept, something that she loved to think about. The outside world only consisted of people who weren't at her level of intellect, something that made her giggle at the thought of someone even reaching her ideal level of thought processing. Her feet playfully tapped the ground, her right hand resting against her chin in concentrated thought. All she did these days was think. She allowed her right foot to softly plant itself into the ground as she stood, smiling. It was obvious that the woman contained beauty, even at her young age. "Hehehe, it's such a beautiful day today. Why can't I be with someone for a change?" Was it truly that hard to get a normal day of peace? Step by step, her body moved easily through the forest's interior, her hips swaying to the beat of her own heart. Today was to be a good day, Karin didn't want anything to go according to plan. All this day had really given her was the fact that she had freedom from her school career at the moment. One step, Two steps, Three steps, Four. All she did was walk forward at her own pace. Nothing in the world right now could destroy such a perfect reality. Reality. The reality of it was that, she was alone. Yes, she had friends back at Karakura High, but outside of school, she's always been alone. This place was a secret of sorts, a meadow that she had been visiting ever since her first time entering the forest. "Heh.. Always.. Alone, it seems." She sat once more; arms sprawled along the flowers of the meadow. Her eyes teared up ever so slightly. She took her glasses off, dragging the bottom of her shirt against the soft skin of her face. Replacing the glasses, she turned over, closing her eyes. "Sleep.. All I need is sleep right?" She smiled again, her failure to admit the fact she was lonely was obvious. She slept now, whether someone were to come or not was of their own free will. |

"To be, or not to be. That is the question." The sun that filtered through the tree-tops bathed her in a soft warmth as she walked, a book sitting in her right hand and open upon a section that seemed to be dog-eared, covered in stains and well-used. Upon the front of this blue-bound book were gold-trimmed letters, HAMLET, and the pages, though in English, were well-read and trimmed with a gold color of their own. The girl, as she walked, spoke in the English language, reciting words that she knew off by heart; only having the book open to refresh the already-perfect memories of the words that she had. "Whether 'tis nobler for the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune..." A soft smile crossed the lips of the female as she dropped her head slightly, blonde drills bouncing with each motion. It had been quite some time since this woman had taken to giving up the usual trappings of the day, letting herself wander through the Forests of Karakura. Normally, she would be within the Sugiura's Dimension, allowing herself to read quietly within her room, though today Lucrezia would desire the sunlight that she could so readily bathe in.
"Or take arms against a sea of troubles, and by opposing end them?" The smile on her lips sharpened a little; Lucrezia would run her tongue across her lips as she continued to recite, "To die: to sleep; no more; and by a sleep to say we end the heart-ache and the thousand natural shocks that flesh is heir to, 'tis a consummation devoutly to be wish'd." Having being raised as a Western Sugiura, these sorts of languages were natural to Lucrezia, even if most wouldn't understand. Her carefully-manicured fingernails ran through locks of long blonde hair; they would slide her fringe out of the way and put more motion into the carefree woman's steps. As one looked down the body, they would see her in a white shirt, covered with a teal singlet. A black miniskirt was at her hips, and long stockings ran down to comfortable shoes. Chuckling as the book was closed and hung down at her side, the Sugiura slowly raised her vision to look upon the clearing that she was about to come on. Within this space were two people; a female with red hair, and a dark-skinned male with a bush on his head. From the looks of things, the male was a Shinigami--at least, from what she could tell. She could not sense any real lingering power from the female, however. Tapping her chin, Lucrezia quickly switched her mind over to Japanese; speaking to them would require that tongue, most likely. "Here goes nothing..."

"Come on Takahashi, I found it last time it should be somewhere around here..."
Andrew had been going through the forest with a determined expression on his face as he looked through the forest. He had found some wild herbs that had the scent of rosemary and had a small bushel of it placed in a pouch. However, the herbs were not his immediate goal. He had remembered seeing some wild mushrooms being grown in the forest and he had wanted to get some for a pasta dish he had been working on. The only question was where did he see them. He scanned the forest intently, trying to figure out where to go from where he was. However, there had been some difficulty after realizing there are several trees that look alike. But despite all of that, he continued to explore deep into the forest, determined to find his mushrooms.
He had stopped though when he caught something from the corner of his eye. Stopping, he poked his head from behind the tree as he looked at both people in the distance. He remembered the male all too well after meeting him in the restaurant. However, as he looked at him the name was escaping him at the moment. But he knew to be careful around him though. He wasn't sure if he was a shinigami or not yet. But his eyes fell on the red haired girl at first, wondering who she was and what she was doing here. He had wanted to come in closer, but he then felt something in the air. Apparently he was not alone in watching the two. He listened to the voice in the distance, wondering where the quote had come from as he watched her move. He was unsure who or what she was, and despite the warnings of his spirit he began to approach all three of them. The vizard had wondered what was going to happen and hopefully nothing bad would happen.
