• Appearance Description:
Revan appears, in both stature and appearance, to be a being of great power. This shinigami stands at an astonishing six foot eight inches tall. Though his armor does make him seem a bit taller than he actually is, it only adds on about an inch and a half, hardly enough to downplay his great stature. He tends to tower above those he takes his place near, appearing to be a building compared to many people. His natural, and even enhanced height, acts as an additional aid in his charisma, as he is seen as a great being, more than an ordinary man. When you are looking at possible leadership candidates, are you going to pick the small scrawny man or the statuesque man of great height and physical body build? The man who appears malnourished, or the healthy looked one with a demanding stature? If you're a logical person, you'll have picked the second answer to both questions without even needing to think about.
On to his weight. With his Mandalore plate armor equipped, Revan weighs a whopping sixhundred and fifty eight pounds. Geez, he must be rather obese, right? Wrong. His armor alone weighs well over four hundred pounds, as his real weight is two hundred and eighteen pounds, with much of his mass being a result of his well developed muscles and height. Though he weighs quite a bit, it barely affects or limits his movement and can even be a reason why he is able to hit so hard. When Revan walks, his feet make rather loud noises as they hit the ground, thanks to his weight. Revan's body fat percentage is extremely low, evidence for the fact that the vast majority of his weight comes from pure muscle. However, it should be noted that due to his heavy armor and the training he's put himself through for millions of years, Revan's bone structure is very powerful as his bones are very dense, thick, and durable, much higher than most other people's.
Under the armor that weighs him down, and which he wears constantly, lies a very well-toned behemoth of a man. Though not overly muscle bound to the point of being grotesque, Revan's thick muscular structure does not make him out to be weak. He appears to be a very, physically, powerful individual, even with his armor and hooded cape equipped, as his armor isn't thick. Despite his large muscles and muscular features, Revan remains light on his feet, though that specific description should be saved for a later time. What Revan's muscles miss out in actual size, they make up for in pure density, thus making him a very powerful individual. Thanks to his powerful bone structure as well, Revan has a very powerful, relatively light, body that he keeps in shape by constantly working out and by having a healthy diet.
Revan's robes are of an extraordinarily dark shade of black, so dark that it resembles the vacuum of space in hue. However, when light is shined on them, the robes appear to have a slightly crimson tintish hue. The robes are pleated and very long, inches longer than the entire length of his body which causes them to trail behind him as he walks, though not ridiculously so such as a wedding dresses train. The main part of the robes, the hooded cape, is worn very loosely. The material folds over itself at Revan's neck and is worn on his shoulders carelessly. The sleeves come down to his elbows, at which point only the backs continue on for about a foot or so, reaching past his waist. The hood of the robes covers his head and goes down slightly past the top of his mask, giving him a shadowy and mysterious appearance, though the rest of what he wears does so too.
Underneath both his robes and his armor would be the other main set of clothing this shinigami wears. Revan's bottom layer consists of an all-black skin-tight suit of clothing that covers his entire body from head to toe, every inch wrapped in it. It even covers his face, though it doesn't dull his senses as the fabric is made of a material that allows his sight, hearing, and smell to work just as well as normal even when covered by it. This fabric is very rarely seen due to his armor and cloak always being worn by him no matter where he goes. It doesn't help that he wears other clothing between this and the armor, which, of course, is unlikely to be destroyed as well.
Above the skin-tight body suit and below the armor that covers his body, Revan wears a relatively thin padded shirt. It is a dark lace-up gambeson made up of similar materials as the body suit he wears below it. It seems rather plain, though the laces are a bright crimson and the sleeves are decorated with what appears to be a nordic-celtic string design, with three being on each sleeve near the elbow area. For pants, he wears a similarly dark-colored pair of tight-fitting, though with at least a little bit of extra room for easy movement, pants that buckle at his waist.
Just below his torso plate armor lies what appears to be a 'leather' jerkin. Though it appears to be leather, it is made of much more durable and breathable materials that normal leather, as it is reishi-infused, and is pitch black in color. The jerkin is short sleeved, with said sleeves ending just above his elbows. It is long enough to the point where the very bottom of it covers the very top of his pants, which are made of the same material and lie above his other pair of pants, so it is relatively long. The jerkin has three small buckles that go up the middle of it's front, and has a larger buckle at the waist to keep it closed, all of which are crimson red. The top of his undershirt can be seen at his neck if his armor and top cloak is off as it goes above the jerkin at the neck.
And now it is finally time to get to the long awaited description of Revan's body armor, is it not? We'll start with his torso. The body armor is am shadowy gold in color, not very bright. However, the color could also be described as a shade of bronze, depending on whether there is light shining directly on it's surface from an outside source. The armor is relatively lightweight considering what it is made out of, and is pretty flexible as well, being able to fit most body types comfortably. On either side of it's top are buckles which help hold his cloak on and in place. The top of the armor extends to about a couple of inches below his neck, which is covered by the body suit he wears beneath every thing else. At about the middle of the armor are three black stripes that wrap around the entire section of torso armor. In the very middle of the front of his waist is a large metal ring that is help on by a belt-like attachment that wraps around his torso and is held in place by buckles on the back and sides of the armor. The ring holds up an all-black senninbari-haramaki-esque belt, though it certainly wasn't sewn by a thousand women, and is worn loosely allowing it to reach relatively far down in the back. Also, hanging off the bottom of his torso armor are fifteen smaller rings that wrap around the entire bottom edge of the cuirass. These rings don't really do much and are just there for appearances, though perhaps he can use them to hold things such as a gun or sword. There are also webbing straps on the sides of the armor to hold it close to his body when worn. Revan's bracers are relatively plain in design with no remarkable features, and are made from the same materials as his cuirass. They are about a foot long each and reach from his wrist to just below his elbows. There is armor worn on the back of his hands as well, which are attached to leather-like gloves worn beneath it, and are parts of his gauntlets as well. This provides protection to his hands, wrists, and much of his lower arms while also providing easy and unrestricted movement by his arms and hands, which are both very good features to have in combat.
On his legs, underneath his robes of course, are a lengthy pair of extremely durable greaves that are made of the same metal as the rest of his armor. His greaves are similar to his gauntlets in that they are relatively plain in appearance and serve only to protect their owner and wearer from offensive attacks, not to show anything off or make him seem like royalty. Aside from the fact that they appear plain, unless Revan's robes are somehow destroyed, the greaves can't even be seen because they are hidden from sight. Lengthwise, they reach down to his ankles and extend up past his knees to about mid-thigh, providing protection to the large majority of his legs. The greaves, unlike some, also wrap all the way around his legs instead of just having straps to keep them on as most others do. While this might usually hinder his movements, they are built in such a way that three is plenty of space for his joints to be able to pivot and overall is relatively lightweight. The robes that cover his legs and bottom half in general are relatively plain, being just all black without any real intricate designs on them. The only thing that stands out is the long sash-length piece of red cloth that extends from the bottom edge of the robes to the very bottom of the large metal ring at the middle of the front of his waist. Revan's boots are pretty plain as well, being of a dark hue color with nothing else really of note.
The last noteworthy piece of Revan's ensemble of clothing, and his known appearance in general, would probably have to be his mask. Though called a mask, it is also akin to a helmet as it is made of a metal, one which is stronger that everything else his armor is made of, and provides much needed protection to his head, skull, and thus brain. First thing to note would be the mask's size. It extends to the bottom of his neck, of at least part of it does. You see, there are two main parts to the Revan's mask: the mask itself, and the neck guard. The neck guard is of the same material of the mask part, and is also of the same color. It is not attached to any other price of armor, and thus allows complete and unrestricted movement of his head and neck, which would otherwise be restricted to the point of him having to turn his entire body in order to look in a different direction. The mask itself extends to just below his chin and to the back of his head, ending with about two inches of the back of his head open. In order for him to see, there is a tinted, completely pitch-black visor across his eyes that also covers the bridge of his nose. The area around the visor, as well as a vertical bar from the middle of the visor to the bottom of the mask and all around the edges of the mask, the metal is a bit thicker and is only thinner at his cheek areas. Another part of the mask itself is the straps attached to the very edges on either side that have connected buckles in order to keep the mask safely on his face, preventing the helmet from falling off mid-battle.

"It is most difficult to understand why one would fight for freedom and equality, especially compared to those who fight for selfishness and power. Perhaps this is due to selfishness being an innate quality in all beings.......I prefer to think it is because the most difficult problems are always the most important to us."
• Personality:
Revan possesses a very calm personality and is certainly not quick to anger (more likely than not, hes the last to anger), even in tough situations, such as those of life or death. In dire circumstances, Irikani stays (usually) level headed and tends to hide surprise whenever he is caught off guard or shown something he doesn't understand; instead he attempts to figure out what is going on through thinking about it, instead of reacting or asking questions. Due to this little quirk, he tends to stay very quiet during fights, only speaking if spoken to, or if there are negative consequences for him not speaking. It also has to do with trust; he doesn't trust people easily, and is tentative to begin trusting people, so he sticks to his thoughts, the one thing he can trust in this world. His lack of trust in people has to do with everything he has experienced; he has observed countless atrocities, betrayals, entire nations, no, entire CULTURES wiped out, societies destroyed, etc, etc. Revan has not only been there for much of this, but has also witnessed many situations that only end in massacre during his time in stasis, which in the past has angered him to the point of desperation; because he cannot affect the physical world, or really any world for that matter, in stasis, he has had to sit back and watch as destruction occurs, unable to prevent or stop it in any way. While he does detest human nature, he believes there is still good inside of them and won't think twice about protecting them from evil forces that threaten their existence.
As a being who has witnessed much in his existence, a good portion of which included witnessing the evil in beings, Revan has a personal vendetta against all who would wish harm upon others. This is the main reason he dislikes Hollows, Arrancar, and Demons, as all three species are innately evil and tend to just go on killing sprees. While he has met Arrancar who are not only nonviolent, but are also relatively peaceful, these appear to be oddities and rarities among their species, and as such don't make a big difference to Revan. However, despite his feelings towards "dark" or "evil" creatures, he has developed more of an "I don't care" attitude towards them because of everything he's seen. He firmly believes that no matter what happens, evil will always exist and good will always exist, so fighting either side is pretty pointless, it would be, in Revan's words, "Trying to fight existence itself. It's not only pointless, it's also impossible, and naive." This belief, or ideology, has pretty much morphed Revan into a near-absolute pacifist. Even when under attack he will usually stick to just dodging and retreating instead of fighting back, but if the situation is serious enough, he will in fact fight back.
Revan's extreme longevity is the leading cause for this next personality trait's existence. He never hurries through anything, and constantly takes his time to the point of ridiculousness. If he was building a house, it would probably take him over a hundred years just to complete it; Revan no longer care's about time itself. He doesn't think it's all that important to go quickly or, really, even finish something on time. Honestly, after this long, why SHOULD he care? He's seen all of this before. The bad guys invade the good guys, the good guys lose, the good guys come back and beat the bad guys who come back and.......etc, etc. He has also just walked around in seemingly random areas of the Earth, exploring, for years at a time; never stopping in civilized areas for any reason, and instead sticking to nature and the wilderness, a place he deems much calmer than cities and even small villages, which shows just how unseemly he sees civilization as.
Because he thoroughly enjoys taking his time when it comes to......well, pretty much everything, Revan could be considered the ultimate procrastinator. During the final days of his existence, before the next stasis period, Revan is constantly moving about, trying to do whatever he planned on doing during this specific time of existence. So, if he decided to do something while he was in stasis, instead of doing it right when he reconnects with the world, he'll wait nearly 10,000 years and do it in the waning days of his body's' existence. This has caused him some problems in the past, such as when he wanted to help stop a Hollow army from attacking an area on Earth, he waited years and years before even trying to do something about it, though he was lucky that there wasn't really any substantial consequences in that specific situation, things could have ended much worse. However, when his current living era begins to end, he gets extremely hyper active when it comes to doing what he wants or needs. In just a few years, he can accomplish what would usually take someone decades, if not centuries, to begin and finish.
Revan's time in stasis and his overall long lifespan has humbled him and turned him into a very wise man, partly because of all he has experienced, and partly because of all he has learned. Due to his infinite wisdom, Revan very rarely doesn't know what to do in any specific situation, as he's most likely experienced something similar at some point in his very long life. One of his main hobbies is just exploring Earth (though at this point, he's pretty much seen everything), sight-seeing and just observing not only the natural part, but also the civilized parts (though he prefers the natural side of the world, he occasionally takes pleasure in witnessing how humans have developed, and is interested in some human architecture).
More recently Revan has adopted to calling himself the so-called 'Will' of the Universe itself, a literal physical embodiment of the Universe and all of it's laws, a being seeking solely to restore and retain balance in all dimensions. Using this belief and philosophy, Revan has been able to convince himself to do just about anything to retain said balance, even if it means allowing evil to win some fights against the good side. Even though he himself could be considered to be a force of good, he is still willing to commit heinous actions all in the name of balance and equality. If Revan was in ex-Gotei 13 Captain Mayuri's place when the Quincies were on the rise and he killed a large amount of Plus' in Soul Society in order to maintain spiritual balance, he would have done the same exact thing without remorse.
Revan does not actually see a 'good side' and 'evil side', instead preferring to group them together as one in the same. He commonly likens the struggle between good and evil to the four seasons: "The supposed conflict between positive and negative are simply not that. They are of the natural seasons, all required for perfect balance. If one becomes too strong and lasts past it's normal ending point, the other seasons are affected and balance is destroyed.....I seek only to keep each season in check, keeping Winter cold and Summer warm." This philosophical belief is rather uncommon as many ascribe to either good or evil instead of choosing a path either between the two, or even above them. This perhaps makes Revan an oddity among his fellow Shinigami, who tend to fight against Arancar and Demons in the name of the greater good. As previously stated Revan is willing to do foul things in order to keep balance, however he prefers to simply call them 'Necessary Measures', noting the deaths and damages of innocents only as collateral damage. This has painted him in a bad light, making him seem as though he follows corrupt philosophies and teachings, though it could be argued that he instead is simply following such philosophical views to their up most.
Thanks to the particular effects of Revan's Stasis, aka Omnilock, he has witnessed reality itself change course in such a way that he retains knowledge of alternate realities and time lines, as well as giving him access to an understanding to all possible outcomes. This has two main subsequent effects. Firstly, Revan is surprised by next to nothing; even the strangest occurences don't seem all that shocking to him. Secondly, he has reached near-omniscience, giving him access to knowledge of essentially (nearly) all beings in existence, even the ones unknown to some of the more knowledgable scientists and historians. What this means, is, Revan is an extremely knowledgeable Bering and conversations with him will reflect such. He has an extreme understanding when it comes to oddities in both powers and histories.
By declaring himself the will of the universe itself, Revan took his own "humanity away". By donning the mask he now wears constantly, he threw aside every bit of his old self with it, meaning he is now more a symbol than a man. People fighting him or those whjo hear about him may not picture him as a man, hut as something much more. An everlasting emblem, something that can be neither tarnished nor destroyed. This has given him a different form of immortality than his own, a symbolic immortality. He can never die in the sense that he will always be remembered, not as a mortal man, but as an immortal symbol for all ages to come.
Despite all of Revan's particular personality flaws, he is still an extraordinarily charismatic individual. He is able to incite rebellion in even the most die-hard followers of organizations or nations, or specific individuals. He is very difficult to talk to without being swayed by what he says. If you have opposing views to his own, he can, rather easily, convince you to side with him, even when it comes to things you vehemently oppose. Thanks to his charismatic personality, Revan makes a great natural leader. He is able to lead entire nations without problems, and can just as easily lead those who don't wish to follow him as those who do. This also means he makes a terrible follower. Revan despises the idea of having to follow someone else's ideals, and as such would, under most circumstances, not obey orders if he does not support them. This means he is very independent as well, choosing his own path instead of another's. Though, Revan is the type to choose multiple paths instead of just one anyway.
Throughout history Revan has played a major role in various wars between humans, including but not limited to the French Revolution and subsequent military conquest across Europe, the American Revolution, both infamous World Wars, etc, etc. Revan's role in these wars and major historic events is a clear indicator of his never ending journey and goal to maintain perfect balance and harmony between what is known as the 'good' and 'evil' sides, always working to make sure no side becomes overwhelmingly powerful or much stronger than the other. This is further proven by the fact that Revan has aligned himself with the forces of good as of late because he feels organizations like Shadowfall and people like Mana Asthavon have become much too powerful and need to be dealt with swiftly and remorselessly. If he is successful in defeating Shadowfall, he would most likely ally himself with them in order to prevent groups such as the Iramasha or Soul Society from gaining and amassing too much power for their own good.
Another interesting personality trait Revan possesses in his arsenal of oddness is his apathetic attidude towards people and objects alike. Though he may on occasion feign a caring attitude, pretending to be someone like a shoulder to cry on, he is actually rather apathetic in essentially all situations. First off, apathy should have a set definition for this instance. In most situations, apathy can be defined as having an uncaring, uninterested personality and thus being indifferent to even important situations. However, Revan's apathy generally exclusively applies to other people and their own states of being. Instead of being uncaring and torpor towards major events such as a battle, an important conversation, or similar situations, Revan tends not to care about the problems of the people around him instead. If there was a wounded soldier crying out in pain nearby, Revan is likely to shush him or just ignore him period. If a child was crying because he said something they didn't like, Revan is prone to attempting to quiet them or, again, ignore them as a whole. However, in major fights, he may act differently in order to appear charismatic and in order to inspire the friendly and/or allied troops and soldiers around him to boost their morale. Also, say an enemy he is fighting himself is screaming at him in rage or insulting him with ad hominem attacks berating him, or just yelling out in joy as certain psychopaths do (See: Zaraki Kenpachi), Revan tends to stay quiet and not respond to such things, electing to just ignore them because he couldn't actually care less about the words coming out of their mouth.
When it comes to duty, Revan will accomplish what is necessary with absolute and complete loyalty. This includes difficult or morally wrong tasks and goals, as while Revan does have a sense of right and wrong, he is willing to do what it takes no matter what, if it means keeping up loyalty or finishing his mission successfully. If he is required to punish those who may not have really done anything wrong, or has not been proven to do something wrong, he most certainly will. However, there is a limit to everything, and so Revan has a limit when it comes to this specific personality trait as well. Usually, if he has no evidence a being deserves to be punished very harshly, he will usually question the person who gave him the order. This doesn't mean he's willing to easily drop loyalty, but it does mean he is only willing to go so far to accomplish something and refuses to follow blindly.
Revan also has a strong stance against killing innocent people due to his belief that life is a very precious thing indeed. This may have stemmed from the fact that Revan has spent thousands upon thousands of years simply wandering around Earth, admiring the natural terrain and scenery. Travel such as this has made a major impact upon Revan's life and his psyche. While this does apply to innocents and people who haven't really done much wrong or don't deserve it, this doesn't, however, cover people such as Touketsu or Mana who Revan believes must die in order to restore and maintain balance in the universe. This has been shown when he attempted to assassinate Touketsu because Revan saw him as too powerful to exist. However, this system works the other way around as well. If someone good becomes too powerful, he's still willing to kill them, which could be considered to be understandable when considered from Revan's viewpoint and how long he has existed.

Revan's Mandalore Irriduraplexinium Plate Armor
The full plate armor Revan wears was crafted by himself, and was smelted using advanced techniques he himself discovered for, you see, he is a master blacksmith who has honed his skills over hundreds of thousands of years. Originally the armor was made simply for protection, however it's purpose eventually evolved past such a basic reason. You see, it now acts as a symbol for him and his objectives. He is seen as an indestructible, immortal, unstoppable force, which his armor helps to prove such a statement as it is so powerful and durable.
The metal itself is an alloy of multiple materials, each extremely dense and powerful in it's own right. The primary material used is the mineral lonsdaleite, or hexagonal diamond, which is made from carbon atoms just like diamond, but they are arranged in a different shape. In nature, it forms when meteorites containing graphite strike the Earth. This different shape means quite a bit: it is roughly 58% stronger and more durable than diamond. It also happens to be one of the rarest materials on Earth, meaning it was very difficult to obtain. In nature, it forms when meteorites containing graphite strike the Earth. The great heat and stress of the impact transforms the graphite into diamond, but retains graphite's hexagonal crystal lattice, which is the primary cause for it's great durability.
The second material used was actually even more difficult to gather than the primary one. The second material is actually a part of the iron core of Earth. This was used for a few reasons. One reason it was used is it is extremely, absolutely dense, which overall increases the durability of the armor. Second, it makes up for the lack of heat resistance of the primary mineral, helping the armor stand tens of thousands of degrees rather easily. Also, the material adds a dark hue to the armor instead of it appearing to be made of glittering diamond. This material is nigh-irreplaceable due to the complexity and length of time required to obtain even a small amount of it.
The third main mineral involved in creating the alloy, which has rightfully been named the "Unbreakable Alloy", is called wurtzite boron nitride. This material is, perhaps, the most important. In it's natural state, it is about 18% stronger and more durable than the strongest of diamonds, which just like the other parts of the alloy aids in improving the overall strength of the armor. Also, it happens to have it's own resistance to heat, providing even more protection against fire and it's ilk. However, this material was mainly added in for one reason: Flexibility. Thanks to the way this mineral's molecules move around to accommodate pressure, Revan's armor can breathe easily and even allows for easy movement, which makes sure the armor is not a detriment to him at all during combat and basic movement.
Finally, Revan added a specially made sekkiseki material that took centuries to not only gather the ingredients for, but to also actually create the stone. The reason why it's special is because it doesn't completely negate all Reiryoku, which was actually much more difficult to implement than it sounds. Due to the nature of sekkiseki stone, there was a lot of initial resistance when Revan first created this offshoot version. However, once it was finally formed and combined with the other materials to create this armor it was able to give it some special properties. The first special property is the armor's extreme resistance to energy, Reiryoku, and pretty much all forms of spiritual-based attacks. The main difference between it and actual sekkiseki stone is that it isn't completely invulnerable to energy as that would make it impossible for Revan to use his own, instead it acts as a damper for incoming energy. This does mean that incoming heals and powerups from outside sources are weakened substantially while Revan is cloaked in this armor.
Though the minerals themselves are powerful, and even if this technique wasn't used the armor would still be rather strong, there is one final component to the puzzle that is Revan's armor. You see, during the process of smithing the metal alloy that comprises the plate armor, Revan inserted an absolutely massive quantity of his own personal energy into the molten-hot metal. This energy helps with a few things, the primary one being overall strength. With his energy inside the armor it is exponentially more powerful and durable than it would be should it not have the reishi particles within it. Second, it actually helps the metal resist energy-based attacks and assaults upon it, providing its wearer with dual-protection: Physical and Spiritual. Being able to withstand blows of even much stronger individuals than Revan himself, this armor is a large part of why he is able to do so well in combat, however it should be noted the armor would not exist had it not been for his own vast spiritual reserves.
It should also be noted that Revan's armor possesses another notable attribute. Due to being the inventor of the spiritual pressure-immune sekkiseki stone, Revan was able to incorporate a similar mineral set up into his armor. What this means is, Revan's armor possesses an extreme resistance to energy, rieryoku, and spiritual pressure of all forms, while also not interfering with his own energy and power. This single characteristic may be why Revan considers his armor to be his absolute masterpiece in terms of being a blacksmith. However, another important characteristic is that his armor is extremely resistant to heat and cold, and while it can be damaged by heat, it cannot be melted.

Unreal Durability: Of all Shinigami in existence, Revan can easily be placed among the most durable. When a being as powerful as him specializes in a primary physical trait, that trait is brought to unseen levels, and this stays true in regards to Revan's defense. His basic physical defenses are absolutely immense, and allows the Revanchist to withstand a tremendous amount of punishment and then brush it off without actually taking damage. It is near impossible for Revan to be successfully stabbed, and getting cut is just as improbable. Attacks strong enough to leave people equal to Revan's overall power on the ground and bleeding out do essentially nothing to this man, and even powerful attacks, energy, physical, or otherwise, leave him completely unfazed. Revan illustrated his immense durability during his fight with the one and only Touketsu, the god of demons. He was able to take multiple blows from his enemy without taking much damage during combat, which is a tremendous feat. Due to having such a high level of natural durability, there are, of course, extra side effects Revan possesses that result from his defenses.
- Immovable Object Physiology: Revan's grand level of durability has led to an interesting passive ability his body has adapted. This passive ability has to do with Revan's body being 'anchored' in space and reality, which will be described in more detail later on. Essentially, Revan cannot be forced to move by any physical means. Even if an extreme physical strength specialist like Stefan Soan were to land a direct punch on Revan, he would not budge a single millimeter unless he allowed himself to. This means Revan cannot be thrown away from a very powerful hit, and massive energy attacks don't push him back at all. While this does mean he can counterattack an opponent immediately without worry of being thrown back, as well as being able to stop massive energy attacks in their tracks, this passive also means Revan takes the brunt force of enemy attacks unless he consciously allows himself to be pushed back. It also means that if he isn't careful, he could end up allowing an opponent to do more damage with a bladed weapon. Also, while he can't be forced back by a powerful physical hit, he may still take damage if it is sufficiently powerful.
- Space and Reality Anchor: Revan's body and spirit possess a very particular characteristic that plays off of his durability and defensive nature. Due to possessing a more absolute form of defense than most other beings in existence, Revan's body possesses this trait which essentially makes his body and existence 'absolute'. What does this mean for him, exactly? Well, it essentially means his body (and armor) cannot be manipulated by an opponent or even an ally. Reality-bending, altering, or anything along those lines can not and do not effect him in the slightest. This also applies to space-based abilities, such as Stefan Soan's Cutting Space technique. This means Revan is immune to space and reality based abilities of any kind. This, however, also applies to his spiritual energy and spiritual pressure. If Revan is in combat, and some of his energy is left in the environment, it cannot be manipulated by anyone for any means. It also means his spiritual energy/reitsu cannot be absorbed by an opponent at all. There is a downside to this, however. It means his allies cannot heal him under any circumstances, as well as the fact that he cannot be given extra energy from allies either.
- Element/Energy Resistance: Revan's overwhelming durability and other natural defenses has granted him a remarkable boon. He possesses an extreme resistance to elements, including and especially temperature, and so he has an advantage over opponents who fight using elements. However, this doesn't just apply to basic elements such as fire, water, electricity, etc. It also applies to sound users, shockwave users, air/wind and void users, as well as less ordinary and more generally defined "elements". Temperature wise, Revan can easily stand temperatures that dip into the negative two hundreds, as well as being able to stand heat that would normally be able to destroy essentially anything else, especially thanks to his armor. However, the bonuses don't end there. Revan also possesses an incredible resistance to energy and energy-based attacks to the point where he occasionally allows himself to be hit by an opponent's strongest energy attack just to show how useless it is to fight him that way. However, like all things, this is not limitless or absolute.
Immense Physical Strength: Another one of Revan's more prominent attributes is his physical body strength. Due to being essentially the origin of his species, as well as having lived for millions of years, Revan has adapted the body of a quintessential Alpha being. This means he possesses near-unparalleled physical characteristics of the utmost quality, including his body's physical power. Revan can place a massive amount of power into his physical blows, allowing him to to excel even further in close quarters combat as his offensive strength augments his durability. As a matter of fact, it also works the other way around. Because he is so immensely durable, his punches and physical attacks feel like wrecking balls because his body is so powerful. While in combat against the Demon God Touketsu, Revan, for a short while, was actually able to match his opponent in strength before he began to lose the fight. However, a serious Touketsu wouldn't have been matched by Revan. Since that fight, the Revanchist has only gotten stronger, and so it should as no surprise that he is even more physically dominant.
Unreal Endurance: Along with his incredible durability and other physical characteristics, Revan possesses an unmatched level of endurance that allows him to fight even while being brought to near death by an opponent. Able to stand extreme pain for extended periods of time, as evidenced by his long and drawn out battle against the Demon Touketsu, Revan has been known to be able to fight opponents much more powerful than he himself is by simply pushing past any damage he may receive or injuries he may acquire during combat, and as such is a fierce some foe no matter how powerful his opponent is. Even if he were to lose a limb, he would be able to fight on without being slowed down (unless it's a leg!) and would still be able to handle normal brain processes, and think as a healthy man would be able to think. This essentially means that while he does in fact feel pain, even extreme pain has essentially no effect on him whatsoever.
High-Speed Combatant: Likely his weakest physical trait, Revan is by no means a speed specialist. His speed cannot match many of the best fighters, and is usually lackluster when compared to them. This means that Revan cannot rely on speed in most battles, and when fighting opponents who are on the same level of strength as him, he is usually out sped by quite a gift. However, against the vast majority of opponents weaker than him, Revan is by no means slow. As a matter of fact, captain class fighters may think he is a speed specialist before they realize his other physical characteristics blow his speed out of the water. However at that point it isn't a matter of being more skilled with speed, it is just a matter of being more powerful as a whole. All things considered, especially that he has been in Zero Division for quite some time, Revan is still a rather quick combatant, and can even surprise many opponents with his speed. Revan very rarely moves a lot, or even quickly, in combats anyway due to preferring to tank attacks especially because he can turn an opponent's attack back at themselves.
Weapon Skill: Due to Revan's age, he has amassed an incredible amount of knowledge of all forms of weaponry, and as such is able to use virtually any weapon with extreme skill and precision no human could ever dream of. With his massive collection of information and knowledge, Revan can use his (also) massive amount of personal experience to fight an opponent with, say, a war axe, and then immediately switch to a sword without faltering. This level of weapon mastery is extremely difficult to come by, and so he can be considered the "Weapons Master" of the Zero Division, especially because he handles the Soul King's realm's weapon arsenal. The fact that his Zanpakutō doesn't have any direct combat abilities or usages, meaning the only real way for him to go on the offensive (besides using Kidō) is to use physical weapons, should really testify to his skill. Revan prefers armed combat over unarmed combat any day of the week.
- Swordsmanship: While he is skilled with virtually all weaponry, including ranged weapons, Revan is particularly skilled with the blade. A reason why this may be could potentially have to do with the fact that in all forms of release, Revan's Zanpakutō takes the form of at least one sword, and so he would have trained himself to be specifically skillful with swords. Revan's swordsmanship is nigh-unrivalled, especially among the members of the Zero Division, including the Aggrieved of the Blade, who is usually supposed to be the most skilled swordsman in all of the Zero Division. Revan has been known to fight Bankai and Ressureccion level opponents, who usually have special abilities due to their higher released states, with just swordsmanship alone. When he fought Touketsu, his main form of combat in that battle was swordsmanship, which he used rather successfully (at least for a short while), another testament to his skill with the blade. Revan's preferred form of combat is swordsmanship, so after battle heats up, he is likely to solely use a sword in combat.
Kidō Skill: When Kidō was first invented, Revan was there. When Kidō advanced and evolved, Revan was there. And as such, he has been able to amass a tremendous amount of knowledge of this spell system, and can thus use both Bakudo and Hadō on incredible levels. Another reason why he has such a high level of skill with Kidō is the fact that he has a very high level of spiritual energy/spiritual pressure control, so he is able to more accurately and efficiently use Kidō spells, especially in rapid succession. He is able to use very low level Hadō spells to terrifying effect, though he is much more proficient in Bakudo due to his defensive nature. Revan's skill with barrier Kidō is incredible, even surpassing that of many Kidō specialists, however this is offset by his low level of skill in healing Kidō, and the fact that he is much more skilled with Bakudo than Hadō. Revan is particularly skilled with the spell Bakudo Eighty One: Dankū, and uses it very commonly in battle. As a more physically based fighter, Revan doesn't usually use offensive or even defensive Kidō after he draws his Zanpakutō.
Skilled Hakuda Combatant: In terms of hand to hand combat, Revan is pretty skillful. While he is a very skillful close-quarters-combat fighter, and does know quite a bit about various fighting styles, Revan prefers to rely more on his own natural reflexes and instinct when it comes to this form of combat than actual specific styles mainly because of his massive accumulated experience. He has learned that because of the way he fights, and the fact that he is much more skilled with a weapon, it is better to concentrate primarily on defending himself with power-based hard blocks and counter attacks instead of going for a more offensive style. Due to the fact that Revan is essentially impossible to forcibly move, Revan is able to counterattack with his fists and hands very easily, which he most certainly takes advantage of while in combat. Despite his ability to fight an opponent without a weapon, he is infinitely times more skilled with an actual weapon, so he is by no means a Hakuda specialist, but at the same time he doesn't believe he actually needs much real skill when he has his basic physical attributes. Against other Hakuda fighters, Revan has the advantage because of his sheer durability, so unarmed combatants are very likely to end up damaging themselves in hand to hand combat, another reason why he doesn't believe he needs a lot of skill in this field of combat.
Enhanced Reflexes: While not the physically fastest person that may come to mind, Revan's natural physical reflexes are truly extraordinary. He is able to react and block an attack from an opponent much, much faster than him, and can then counterattack using his own natural speed. This can be connected to Revan's naturally defensive style of fighting, as increased reflexes would mean he would be able to defend himself much better when fighting an extremely fast opponent. However at the same time, it means he is able to efficiently battle skillful opponents in either armed or unarmed combat on a very high level, and so it is also a result of Revan's swordsmanship and weapon-based training. His very quick reflexes also allow him to react to surprise attacks much more proficiently, so it is more difficult for an opponent to attempt a sneak attack or a surprise attack in general on him.
Enhanced Senses: Possessing an extremely capable body in all aspects, of course Revan's senses are all far above that of a natural human's or even most Shinigami. For example, his hearing is on such an advanced level that he can easily notice even the quietest of noises, and can pick up slight changes in pitch or frequency of sounds, and so he is aided in combat because he can tell where an opponent is at all times thanks to his sense of hearing. Another great example is his sense of sight. His eyes are so advanced that not only can he pick up on more colors of the color spectrum, than humans, but his vision overall is much more advanced, allowing him to accurately gauge the distance between objects, see even minute details on any and all objects, can even read very small writing from many meters away, and can detect even slight changes in his surroundings and environment. Finally, Revan's sense of smell is also advanced, as he can detect the differences between materials that may smell identical to most other people, and can pick up on specific materials even if they are normally undetectable. This allows him to notice poisons, including those that are usually scentless, as well as other toxins rather easily.
Radar Sense: By simply focusing on his environment, Revan can sense any and all spiritual beings, no matter how minute or massive their spiritual pressure may be, using a "Radar Sense". Essentially this allows him to detect opponents and allies he cannot hear, see, or smell in a radar-like fashion. This allows him to detect the exact location of any and all beings within range, as well as the direction they are moving in and even the direction they are facing. Being able to know what direction they are facing is tremendously useful because it allows him to have the upper hand due to being able to better sense what his opponents and/or allies may do next. This is another useful basic characteristic that allows Revan to react to surprise attacks from opponents. Also, Revan can sense even the slightest fluctuations in spiritual energy and spiritual pressure, allowing him to pick up on even minute changes in his opponents and allies during combat. It also helps him determine if a person is lying or not. The range of this so-called 'Radar Sense' for detecting weak and low level individuals is several hundred meters.
