Katana looked outwards, seeing the man she had been meant to look for in the distance. The graveyard of demons was all around them as her boots went clank. clank. clank. clank. As she slowly walked forwards towards the man, her eyes staring out and unblinking. Her chin length hair was blown a small amount by the wind, due to the extreme openness of the area that they had chosen to fight in. She had picked it for a special reason, as she had heard of this man's immense power. After all, he was an Infante, and that took some level of ability to reach.
Her small hands were resting on the blades at her sides, a broadsword at her left, and a katana at her right. Her cloak that she wore billowed out behind her as she continued to walk forwards. Her eyes never left the strange man, as he came into focus. The first thing that she noticed was his orange hair, striking out in the light. Oh no... what has he done to himself...? She wondered as she made out the metal rods all around the man's body. She stopped, her hands still on her blades, as she felt her motherly instincts taking over a bit.
"Oh, you poor young man! Were you abused while you were young? You know you'll only get bad things from having those things in your face..." She said clearly, a genuine tone of concern in her voice. However, her hands began to move, gripping the sword hilts lightly. She drew them out, carefully but surely, her eyes still not leaving the man. The silence while she did so was so palpable, you most likely could have cut it with a sharp object of some sort. Which is just what Katana did.
As she hefted out her katana and broadsword before her, they shot out a black wave of force to either side, breaking apart the ground with a rumble of protest from the demon world surface in the shape of its dust arising. She didn't exactly know how the man before her would take the charge leaving the blades, or the blades themselves. They were awash in a black fire, making up the two blades before her, a large broadsword in her right and a short and speedy katana in her left. However, the broadsword remained its four-pronged snake head around the hilt, and the katana's sharp, almost scythe like edge shone despite the blaze that made it up. They were her weapons, in addition to her normal manner of attack. Her eyes remained on Nagato the entire time as she drew them out, and she hefted the broadsword before herself effortlessly, pointing the tip right at the arrancar.
"Well. Shall we get started, then? I don't like to beat around the bush." She said flatly, her eyes just visible past the blade that was held out, her arm straight out before her. Her mouth was set in a flat line on her face, and she was completely still, waiting for this Orangy's reply...

"Dull and slow?" She replied, having spun around her head to look at the man, who's hand had been stopped by her broadsword. It was held in a most awkward position, bent behind her back to stop the blow. There were two factors that had alerted her in time to using her Unliving Blade technique: First, that when he vanished, she was constantly looking at all angles with her never blinking eyes, taking in the fact that he was neither above or on her front side. That left below and behind. She had charged up energy for the instant as she waited to see what it was, her eyes wide but not focused, feeling to see where it-
Her body reacted before her mind could, all of her power in that one arm shooting backwards as her cloak hit her back in such a way that would be impossible. She heard a CLANG as the hand hit her blade, turning her head and speaking to the arrancar. Her blade was unharmed, as it lacked organs and bones to rupture, with the added bonus of possibly aggravating the man's hand by the flames that covered it. She spun around, slashing across her katana as it released a wave of black energy, flying out at Nagato and exploding as it reached where he was standing, violently. She gripped the broadsword in her right hand tightly, knowing how fast he was now, slashing the blade in a ring around herself as she fired a large, circular wave of the same black energy. "You're the dull one." She said mockingly as she did so.
She swung around the broadsword in her hand with apparent ease, her head dashing back and forth quickly, the katana still raised to defend herself as the blade pointed at the ground now, and she prepared herself. She pushed down, hard, on the blade, throwing it into the ground below. The graveyard fractured, as she felt quite strange, finding what she had been looking for as it slumped out of the destroyed ground. There, lying in the dirt before her, was a hand, poking out of the ground. A red, clawed hand, one that she promptly stabbed with her sword. She then lifted the sword out, her eyes having dashed back up to be on watch for the arrancar, knowing how limited she was in this state. However, she was still able to do something, and that something was prepare herself as she leaped away from the spot she was just at, retargetting Nagato as she activated Shadow Movement, which was quite effective considering the nightness all around them.
She vanished reappearing just above and behind a bit where she had spotted Nagato. Her arms seemed to turn into a blur for just a moment, as she vanished with Shadow Movement once more. What she had done was use Unliving Blade Technique AGAIN, this time creating such fast and wild movement that the blades shot down at Nagato, her arms seeming to almost stretch from the speed they were going as they slashed down with a great amount of force, creating at least two large slash marks in addition to whatever it did to Nagato. However, she was no longer there, as she had gone back to where she had been before.
The only difference was, now, there was the red hand before her. On a humanoid red demon. With glowing purple eyes. That began to run at Nagato, its arms held out before it as it THUMP, THUMP, THUMP, THUMP-ed on the ground, Katana's Necromancy Ability of enhanced strength causing it to crack the very ground as it ran at and leaped upon Nagato. Katana herself kept ready, mentally preparing herself, her swords held to either side as she kept an eye out for Nagato, to make sure he didn't appear out of nowhere again and try to ruin her day...

"Nope." She said in reply as she felt the arrancar's power grow. Katana watched as Nagato brought the demon towards himself, her face still expressionless as she continued to smash the ground with her broadsword, throwing away with her swords and pure strength. As she did so, she slashed several weak demons, rising about 30 of them out of the ground at the time it took Nagato to dispatch of the other zombies. As she looked back at Nagato again, it was fairly apparent as she leaped up into the air into view, her right shoulder showing. In her right arm, the blade she was carrying's aura had intensified, as the physically-strong undead demons began running at Nagato.
Katana herself hefted both blades up, beginning to slash with them. She had felt Nagato's power, certainly, but that didn't mean that she would let up on him. With 20% of her power now released, her speed as well as the magnitde of her slashes increased, making explosions all on the ground, overwhelming as well as giving a screen to the advancing demons, both Katana herself and the demons attacking Nagato. She had seen that strange thing he had used, and determined that she most likely wouldn't be very safe from it if he used it again, and decided to make herself more difficult to dodge, feeling as she cut the cloth on the seal on her right kneecap. She began moving around Nagato, never staying in one spot. As her waves hit into the ground, they created explosions. It would be very hard for Nagato to move from the ground with the slashes raining down on him, as well as the demons attacking from below.
The weak demon's numbers continued to increase as well. This was caused by Katana infusing DE Energy into her slashes as she threw them down, causing the dead corpses of the weak demons to get up in the area of the explosions she had slashed. She was using 0% complexity with them, only with the order of "ATTACK", and they were doing so, trying to punch and kick and leap on the Orange Haired one, making his life quite a bother down there. Due to their leaping, it would make him leaving that area with his speed difficult as well, as they were constantly grabbing onto him and trying to pull him down.
She maintained this attack pattern, waiting to see if anything he did changed. She was also using this time to think and strategize . She knew that his greatest attribute was his speed, or at least was of the things she had seen him do. That teleportation to behind her had proved that, as then she couldn't even sense it. However, he was now exerting so much power that she was quite pleased that the demons were undead: if they were alive and with their normal strength, his mere aura could have held them down. Her large amounts of raining energy were beginning to turn the battlefield into so much a wasteland and leaping bodies and broken parts. Her Death Energy was even working slowly on the destroyed ones, slowly rebuilding them and sending them back into the fray. One thing was for sure, she was NOT planning on making this easy for him...

That's slightly disappointing. Katana decided watching as the man stopped every one of her strikes. However, she was not one to easily give up, and she knew that she would get her chance soon enough. Her eyes had widened slightly as she watched what he did to her demon's, however she realized the flaw in his plan as well: it could be used against him. It wasn't long after she had decided this that she saw him beginning to move again, and she began to prepare herself as she watched him raise a hand.
She saw the great black wave of energy firing at her, watching the last of her slashes being swallowed up by the attack as it descended from her. She raised her right arm arm before herself, her left pointed at the ground. From her arm, the shield that she had there, awash with flames, suddenly glowing bright as the blast approached her. She was completely enveloped in the blast, it completely covering her form as it went by her.
However, as she was, the group of three demons that she had raised with that last slash for the time had attacked. They had leaped at the attacking Nagato, using this oppurtunity to try and do damage as they attempted to hold and damage him while he was distracted with firing the Oscuras. Even if they were effected by the black hole, they would grab onto him, using it to help them attack him and possibly drag him along with them. From the ground below, it would appear that Nagato attacked Katana, and as he was doing so, this small group attacked as Katana was enveloped, leading to the current circumstance.
As the blast finished, Katana's fate was revealed. There was a loud SHASH of something shattering as she lowered her arm, the shield shattered and its pieces falling towards the ground. If the arrancar had been able to see her during the attack, he would have been quite surprised. The shield on her wrist had thrown out its energy block, diverting the blast around her and protecting her from the attack, making a wall-like shield before her body. Her hands gripped the cool steel of her blades as she felt it, her elbow pads falling off, sending her into 50%.
She vanished, appearing on the ground before Nagato, with the assumption he had dispatched her last demons by then. She vanished once more, reappearing on his other side. While it may still have been the Unliving Blade Technique with both hands, trying to make an X-shape pattern on the male's chest, the blades having moved from the low parts of his sides to his shoulders as she passed, reappearing on his other side. However, unlike the last time she had used it against him... it was now 40% stronger, and 40% tougher than the last. She wasn't going to let him get away THAT easy.
She spun around, vanishing again as she appeared to his left, holding her katana out away from her in her left hand, the blade pointed away. She had used Unliving Blade once more, slashing at his upper back region. She vanished one more time, reappearing behind him again, although he would most likely have turned by now, with her broadsword held to the side now. She had done a similar attack on his side, this time with the Darkness Slash firing out as well. The black wave flew as she reappeared, as she had been going much faster than it, and she was able to watch as it exploded. She turned on her foot, looking right at the man.
"Like I said before, I don't like beating around the bush." She said shortly, her wide eyes staring. "So, what do you say we quit with the warm-ups?" She asked him,her swords brandished on either side of her, waiting to see what his response would be. So far, the man had intrigued her, as well as that strange black blade that he carried. It looked similar to the piercings that covered the man's body, but she couldn't be sure. She honestly wondered to herself for a moment what had driven him to this point, where he was more like a monster than a man...

Katana shrugged as she saw the man approach her after getting blasted away by him due to her being off balance a bit from using Unliving Blade Technique. As the bala flew at her, it was all she could do to prevent from yawning as her other shield reformed and she began deflecting them, throwing them into the air above her and to her sides, not a one actually touching the Banshee. However, she widened her eyes as she saw him leap into the air, slamming the blades into the ground behind her as she watched him do so.
She pulled up the blades, grinding them in the ground and building up power. As they were released form their hold on the ground, an immense level of the black energy shot up, slamming into the double cero, two colliding with two. An explosion went off as they cancelled one another, their powers equal. She spun around as she watched him land with her unblinking eyes, seeing him pop up another blade. Bad move.
When he began to pull her forwards with whatever it was, she widened her eyes, feeling her energy pump through her strong legs as she went overboard, making sure she was stuck to the ground from the amount of force she was exerting, lightly panting after a few seconds after slightly adjusting to the draw of whatever it was. She felt his presence as he appeared behind her, and she gripped the katana tightly as she began to spin around to her left. She countered the upwards slashing leg, feeling how strong it was against her own blade. That was all it took for her to test the thing before she watched him vanish once more, and she fell on her side, dropping her katana as her own knee gripped it, parrying the two blades as the broadsword she held in her right hand deflected the one on his leg, pushing off with her left hand to spin back on her feet as she did so.
She was just landing as she saw him firing the ceros at her. In reply, she smashed her swords into the ground below her, using Unliving Blade Technique with the broadsword as she slashed it in an arc on the ground. The ground was knocked up, and sent flying, as she was as well, underneath the rubble. Indeed, she had felt some effects from the blast, but she ignored the small pain as she gripped the armor around her ankle. She watched as fire flew over the rubble, protected beneath it and seeing as it was sucked up into where the man had been standing before.
She was able to stand up, and looked towards the sky, feeling Nagato's presence there. She saw that he had sheathed his swords, in addition to just kind of... floating there. It only lasted a moment, but it was enough for her to see him fall. She watched as he struck the ground, having hopped into the air herself as she watched him make a large crater where she had just been standing. "... It really isn't good to show off." She said briefly, her arms folded over her chest. She was standing, standing on the hilt of her broadsword, her katana in its sheathe on her side. "You say I lack power? You're absolutely correct." She said, her eyes staring right at him unfazed and her expression blank.
"I'm at my true power when there is one who wields me." She said simply, kicking out her right foot, throwing off the other ankle brace as she did so. She put a hand over the katana, simply beginning to fall over on the broadsword. As she passed it, she gripped the swords hilt in her right hand, pulling it out of the ground as her back approached the ground. She smiled very lightly, knowing what was up with him. It's his balance. He may have enhanced strength and defense, but his limbs are not of the same caliber. That... or they're something different all together...
She vanished as she began to approach the ground, smiling wide. As she did so, slashes began appearing, deep slashes all through the crater. In fact, they were more like gouges, as in her Shadow Movement she allowed herself to be semi-guided by the shadows, slashing whenever she desired, passing Nagato several times through the darkness as she slashed at him and at the crater, firing off more black slashes that resulted in the rock being gouged, after effects of her slashing. She reappeared on the Arrancar right side, swinging both swords together before herself, like she was going to split him into 3, two same pieces and one very small piece.
However, she vanished once more, appearing with her body very low to the ground, her knees bent out and pushing out to the side as she struck, attacking at the front of his feet, and vanishing again. She reappeared once more above his head, her arms held out to the sides. However, this was for but a moment, as she pulled her arms, activating Unlving Blade Technique. The result was her arms crossed before herself, and two large black waves firing out to either side, roaring as they hit the rock and causing slash-shaped pillars of fire to shoot up from where they hit, shining far outside of the crater.
She reappeared above the crater, on its rim, behind where Nagato had been originally standing. Her katana was held before her face, and her broadsword at her right side, as she looked down below, uttering a single word.
"Sssssssssssslice..."
She pulled up the blades, grinding them in the ground and building up power.
