The URE Link Empty The URE Link

The Kokuryuteshi Equipment

  • Item Name: URE Link
  • Used For: Multi-purpose
  • Item Type: Kin Iramasha & Kokuryuteshi

  • Item Description: The URE Link is about the size of a grain of rice, if that, but is extremely useful to K-World's plans. You see, the URE Link is a device that connects most of The Kokuryuteshi in a hivemind of sorts. It's implanted inside of most URE Sphere's, but can also be added into other allying orgs such as Shadow Fall or The Monsuta to make a stronger connection. The uses for the URE Link can allow for constant contact between all members as they can send updates to K-World's series of Super Computer's, Cybrog's, Machines, Weapons and so on and so forth; even altering Kin if threats to him on the battlefield as most of these thoughts can be transmitted directly back to Kin himself to have a great idea of what is happening in most worlds around him. In addition to that, it also connects most people to the URE Realm under Kin's allowance. For instance, if Kin allows it, one of his commanders can have an increased amount of Death's Energy in addition to the URE Force injected into them straight from the URE Realm and heal their URE Sphere over two or three post they don't take damage.

This little link can also be used to donate power into the URE Realm or other Kokuryuteshi resources by channeling their power or whatever power they come into contact with and transmitting it through a series of hidden channels Kin has created that will lead straight into that realm. This is to further their strength, enhance their resources, increase their control on the world and make themselves energy dependent from anyone or thing. Thus, THE URE Link can also allow the transference of additional power to them in reverse. For instance, imagine if a K-World solider was on the verge of Death and, if approved by Kin, he would send them an intense burst of power from himself in order to heal and eventually bring them back to a half-healed state as an example. Another situation would be that a lightning based user would request some type of fire power to go alongside their electricity in order to create an overall stronger, combined elemental attack; well Kin himself or his own Super-Computers would go through a data-base of powers within the URE Realm/URE Link, transfer the ability to generate fire for about one or two post and then take it back.

However, this only applies to people who two tier and below. Once you enter into the 1 tier category. the URE Link begins to cease this function and instead allows a person to create more sub-powers for things they already do. For example, if a person who had the ability to generate Fire got a hold of the URE Link for this purpose, they could eventually learn a Lava Skill/Power to use for the duration of their maximum twelve post power usage. Or, someone who had a water based skill could in turn learn an ice skill to go along with it in order to create a combined attack. Things like this prevent higher tier users who had the URE Link from overloading themselves when it comes to powers.

And, on that note, that also brings us back to a major drawback of The URE Link. Yes, a person can swap, exchange and use different powers from the database of techniques within the URE Link/Realm, but it is never permanent and will more often then not last only for ten post at maximum. In addition to that, some powers may cause sickness, illness, damage, pain or other adverse effects if they are not calibrated correctly. For instance, imagine if Kin were to send a power that had the ability to manipulate gravity, but the person who received barely had the skill, strength or power to wield it properly. They could possibly end up injuring themselves, their allies or even die from the ability rejecting them in some cases. Therefore, as a rule of thumb, Kin tends to stick with related or safe powers when transferring abilities to and from different people who are apart of K-World's and allying org's operations. In addition to that, a person can also only summon two powers at once while using the URE Link. This is to prevent people from going haywire or mad with power. In some cases, though, there are people who can use up to about three powers, but the third is usually poorly controlled.

Alas, though, some final notes about the URE Link is that is also possess an immense durability trait. It can withstand blasts from Radioactive himself, manipulation type effects, magic and most other means of trying to destroy it. However, once the host of the URE Link dies, so does the URE Link itself as it usually needs a body to sustain itself, something with conscious or something that is just alive. Without that, The URE Link will just fade away back int other URE Realm. Therefore, if someone wishes to attach this thing to something, it must always require a source of energy to sustain itself and ensure that it is able to survive wherever it is implanted inside when this Link is activated.

But, in any case, from the few details about, The URE Link has many uses and some drawbacks, but is an overall effective tool for K-World's purposes.

  • Obtained From: Kin himself as he created most of the URE Links.

  • Notes: This is to be used with common-sense, self control and logic. Do not overload your characters with useless shit if you intend to use the URE to forge more powers.
