[Quincy] Yumiko - Celestine - Woman of the Flames [APPROVED 3-1+]

Personality: Velia, or Yumiko as she refers to herself in Japan, is a very quiet, well mannered girl. She is very gentle, and smiling, seemingly able to not be disturbed by anything. This is due to the fact that many basic human concepts seem to escape her, due to her sheltered and trained life. She seems very devoted and tranquil, not questioning orders from her higher ups, or anything of the sort : strangely, for a Quincy and a Lone Wolf, she does not necessarily follow any of the Quincy guilds : she instead follows the catholic church and it's dictates. If they tell her to exterminate hollows and Arrancar : she will. A very loyal person, she does not really have likes or dislikes : if she does, she rarely voices them. In fact, she prefers not to talk at all, but will if needed. Yumiko is very gentle, even when she has to kill : she delivers merciful blows and the like to those that she fights : killing them out of mercy, to purify them and further more, doing it out of cruelty would blacken her purpose. A very saint like person, she has an extreme peace of mind : such things like confusion or insecurity do not exist within her soothing, calming prescence. It seems she has an effect on hollows as well, and yet, her arrows take the shape of flames : to purify those headed for hell and beyond, by casting their soul's coils with flames that will incinerate and allow them to birth annew. That was more or less, her concept of the matter. She does not view combat as something to engage in unless needed, but will sparr with friends if they wish to. A very demure, quiet and sophiscated woman, she is quite handy at all household tasks : nothing seems to daunt her and her will to continue with things. She is slightly stubborn like that, but in all, she is a generally very good person, and quite innocent as well. Sometimes, she can be very, very, very oblivious, even when things are said plainly, due to her sheltered life.

Appearance: Brown red hair that seems to slightly go blonde at times : this is elegantly tied into two small ponytails on the side of her head. Her eyes are a strange, almost capturing green, as her gaze is strangely without emotion and innocent. Her whole form seems gentle and very quiet. Her clothes tend to be baggy, but when not, are slightly form fitting and look very good on her, in a kind way. She seems to be the type of girl that is just very gentle and kind, almost like a saint. Her skin is slightly pale, due to her cooped up studying in the library most of the time. Her weight is a little bit under the norm, because she doesn't seem to have much appetite. She is a strong, and lithe person however, always seemingly healing from injuries. She likes the color black, as it seems to keep her nice and warm in a world that often seems cold to her. Her eyesight is slightly unfocused, so the girl wears glasses to cover this up. In all, she seems like a pretty girl, if not a bit socially awkward, due to her slightly unsure smile and expressions at time.

-- Physical Physique Peak - As an operative, Celestine was heavily drilled in keeping her body in top, physical shape. This means she can run, jump, twist, bend, and just about do everything she can at the top level, due to the intense training from as a child.

--Memory Perfection - She was born with a perfect recall ability, which was inherited from her mother. She seems to be able to recall things to the most minimal detail with absurdily crystal clear precision.

--Sound Sense - A light disorder with her senses has caused her to be able to see sound. This, more or less, gives colors to sounds, so that she can both hear, and see sounds.

--Hypersensitive - Celestine has a hyper sensitive body : meaning that things just brushing by, she will feel. This is present in her skin, making her quite weak to actual slash like injuries or pinching ones, but making her able to take major blunt impact with less pain.


-- Quincy Cross : A cross attached to Yumiko's neck. It looks like a normal catcholic cross : it is removeable however, allowing her to form her bow from her hand.

Type: Bow
Appearance: Yumiko has a strange bow : it holds the shape of a classical bow, with the curve of the arch and the twine structure, with no sort of placement. It is a medival looking bow, except that it is about 6 feet in total length, from tip to tip. This bow, being unnaturally long, also looks unnatural : it is the color of flames, albeit deeper. The arrows that this bow forms are of a deep, deep flickering color of red, orange and yellow, again holding the appearance of flames. Like said in her personality, her entire bow takes aspects of her personality and her genetics : she was bred to create a new type of bow, stronger and faster. Her burning desires are what form the arrows, and she releases them at her enemies, to purify them in the flames of justice and righteousness. The bow's tips have crosses to the end, with the edge connected to the one that is connected to the bow [directly opposite] having a sort of longer spike to it. It can be used for melee but it is sort of useless, considering it's less then three inches in length.

Background: A girl born to unforunate parents : parents selected for breeding purposes only by the church. They just wanted a good child : DNA and selective breeding. The church wanted abilities : they wanted a powerful being to control and use as a weapon. Both parents were also breeding projecgts, but not as useful as their child was meant to be. One parent being a Quincy that was converted to the Catholic church, and the other a user of fire, it was a rather simple and easy procedure to understand. Their child was going to the Purifier, the Saint of Flames. The church was rather pleased with this line of thought, and continued their projects. That's when they ended up with a small baby girl. They were estatic when they tested her abilities : she definitely inherited her father's quincy abilities, and it seemed like her mother's natural abilities to control flames had transferred, at least recessively. And without further ado, they took the girl from her parents, and transfered her to Rome.

There, she began a simple life, living in a convent. She was raised by a Father, his name being Augustus, as he taught her that life was precious : evil was only an aspect of life, but good was inherant in all things. Therefore, killing things was not an answer : but sometimes, they needed to die in order to repent for their sins. Because God gave them a life, and they were fit to do as chosen, but in the end, God would weight their sins and let them repent. That was what the girl was taught, as she seemeed to be filled with only hope and brightness for the human kind. Therefore, when they made her practice summoning her bow, she promised that she would purify the world, rather then destroy it. She would send those that had sinned to God, for him to decide the punishment and repentance that they would undertake. That was her duty : to help the wandering souls that had sinned to hurry to God's side. That was her duty, at least, the one that the Church had assigned to her.

The girl had aged and responded well to their teachings, so they decided to send her around the world on missions. Gentle and diplomatic, they found that she easily accomplished anything : then, they decided to send her somewhere else.. to Japan. She was to take a new name there, and go towards Karakura town, where all of this Hollow, Quincy, Shinigami knowledge had come from. She was to go to the source, and wait for futher orders. That was her mission, as Celestine, renaming herself Kohaku, Yumiko, arrived in Japan from a flight. Having an apartment assigned to her by the Church, and payed for, she waits for her orders, perhaps meeting some interesting cast before then.
