The 1st Official Tournament of Legends!
THE TOURNAMENT: The Tournament of Legends is a massive tournament that is not biased against species. No, in fact, it welcomes ALL types of fighters, strong or weak. No matter what you are, or WHO you are, this tournament is the place for you! Due to a special, invulnerable magic, this Tournament strips away: ALL SPIRITUAL POWER! Thats right, all spiritual powers are taken away, including various forms such as Bankai, Ressureccion, and Kyuu Kyou. This means everyone is in their base forms, and cannot use spiritual attacks like Cero, Getsuga, Kido, etc. Also, do to the lack of spiritual pressure, everyone fights as humans normal fighter would: No 100 mph speed, no mountain-crushing strength. HOWEVER, skills and fighting capability is based on their normal limits. Radio would be very strong physically, and Shadin would be very fast. However, their inhuman power is gone. This means everyone is on the same level, albeit to an extent, and everyone has a chance to win. The only tier that matters is the persons first number. 0 tier, 1 tier, so on so forth. All will have a different tournament.

ONLY BASE FORM: ALL combatants are limited to their base form, unless you cannot fight in your base form. This includes but may not be limited to: SHIKAI/BANKAI/RESSURECCION/SEGUNDA ETAPA/KYUU KYOU.
NO ALLIES: Unless it is a Team Battle, or special circumstances, all battles are 1v1 ONLY. (can change)
NO KILLING: This is NOT a killing tournament. When one combatant is either knocked unconscious, forfeits, or admits defeat, the winner is then declared. After the battle, both combatants are completely healed in order to keep the ball rolling.
RING OUT: As the fighting ring does not encompass the entire area within the stands, it is possible to lose by falling off the edge of the ring. If said person falls out of the ring, then they automatically lose.

Tournament Style:
Tournament Settings: There are a (possible) total of 5 different tournaments, one for each main tier, ie 0-Tier, 1-Tier, ETC. Each separate tournament may or may not have special rules according to specific individuals in the tournament. The tournaments styles are pretty basic: Multiple rounds depending on how many people join up. On the final Stage of the tournament, there will more than likely be a 3 stage tournament. Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, Championship. Fights will be based on a Random Number Generator, as each combatant will be given a number at the start of the tournaments.
The Arena: The Ring is a flat, white, cement-style stage. It is 40 feet by 40 feet, and is a large square. The ring is elevated 5 feet above the rest of the ground, with stairs on either side for each combatant to enter. The Ring Out area is plain grass, and surrounds the entire ring. There is roughly 15 feet between the stage and the stands. The stands are quite large, reaching heights of 300 feet, and can sit 150,000 all together. More likely than not, there will be many different species of fans, though they may be separated from each other. Also, there is a magic barrier that prevents any and all attacks on those sitting in the stands. There are VIP boxes where other competitors, royalty, special visitors, etc may sit and are located at the very top of the stands. (Each tournament has an exact replica of the arena)
SUPREME CUP::Battle Royale: After the champions are chosen, a final, just-for-fun battle will take place. It includes anyone wanting to join, as it is a massive team battle. There will be a Blue team, and a Red team, and is a massive brawl between the two teams. The teams will be selected randomly from those that wish to join. The winning team of the tournament will be given the Supreme Cup, which is a large gold cup-shaped trophy with a large Number 1 on its front. If possible, the team that currently holds the cup will be placed somewhere on Platinum Hearts. Each new tournament, the other team has a chance to take the cup from the previous champions.

First Place in Any Tournament:
The Champion of any tournament will be awarded 1 million Yen, a tier boost to the winning character (skill upgrade to those that cannot receive tier boosts), their name in the news feed, and a Championship Belt that goes on the winning characters application. Whenever a new champion is declared, the belt is removed from the previous winners app, and onto the new winners application. The belt looks like this:

The Runner Up in any tournament will be awarded 100,000 Yen, a skill upgrade to the character that competed, and an honorary mention.
THE HISTORY OF THE TOURNAMENT
In the year 3189, an alien species reached Earth. These aliens were known as Keikunichi. They always appear cloaked in a black robes, and wear masks that hide their faces. Their masks are all the same, black, slightly rounded, and holes for eyes that are shadowed by their hoods and masks. Out of their robes long sleeves, 10 whip-like fingers are visible from each hand, though only the fingers are visible. They use these fingers to control
machinery, such as the arenas and their spacecraft. The Keikunichi quickly found out about legendary fighters from all over the world, and in different dimensions. Most of these fighters had perished at some point, so they were not even alive anymore. After doing extensive research, they found out when the perfect time to travel to was. The year 2410 was the year in which the top fighters from all dimensions were at their primes, something which intrigued the aliens greatly. And so, they set out to find these powerful beings.
Using their extremely advanced technology, they created a time travel device known as LITWIK2000. LITWIK2000 was a relatively weak time travel machine, as even with their technology, time travel was still an extremely difficult task. It was a one-way ticket, so to speak, as they could not return. They made the final decision to go, and thus they rewound the clocks back almost 800 years.....
Their plan had ultimately been to test all of the powerful beings against one another to see who the strongest really is. However, if they did this, then entire planet of Earth would more than likely be destroyed, along with Soul Society, Hueco Mundo, K-World, and every other dimension known. So they came up with a solution. They created a special force field that could put a stopper on anybody's powers by "erasing" their Reitsu, but only while they remained in the force field. It also cancels out any and all attacks on their arenas.
They created 5 massive arenas, topped by domes, that floated in the air above the Pacific Ocean, directly in between America and Europe. These Arenas could each hold thousands of people, and also hold many fighters as well. Now with a way to stop the immense power of the multi-dimension fighters, they could now TRULY see who the strongest was. With their advanced technology, they made a world-wide broadcast inviting anyone strong to come face their ultimate foes in, truly, a Tournament of Legends...

For people like Izuru Kira, whos fighting prowess is based mainly on their powers, will they still lose all of their power?

People with specific powers that let them fight on equal terms with other opponents will most likely incorporate their powers somehow. Perhaps his opponent will feel slightly heavy. Though, I might allow things such as his Shikai sword, not the powers.

I'm going to be moving this thread into Old Feedback Section because it's a bit outdated and it appears this had been attempted to be made into an OOC type of event in the RP Arena.
