Dante's Traits is his affinity for red-colored apparel, in the form of a long, two tailed coat. Dante's coat is red because the color traditionally represents a heroic figure.the coat is given a much more detailed and stylish look, with oriental accents.Dante also has a white hair.His hair is somewhat parted with his bangs brushed down.

True Appearance:
Dante was able to transform into his true demonic appearance.He needed to activate his Devil Trigger to show its true demonic appearance.

~Dante's Abilities~
Dante possesses power that surpasses that of most demons. He has enough strength to punch through stone with little difficulty, and often overpowers demons much larger than himself. Dante is inhumanly fast, capable of moving faster than the eye can see, and also extremely agile;able to jump to great heights or even to balance on a flying rocket. He is able to channel his power into various physical objects, ranging from his guns to the air itself. Dante can instantly heal from nearly any wound; even the Hell Prides were surprised when he mostly ignored their attack on him.Dante has been shown to survive wounds that would kill a normal human, such as being impaled through the chest with his own sword or being shot point-blank in the head. Dante's natural abilities are far greater than humans, allowing him to achieve feats that humans cannot. Dante is also naturally acrobatic; his side rolls are too fast and even capable of dodging bullets fired at close range.

On top of his incredible demonic powers, Dante has also proven himself to be an extremely capable combatant.He has shown incredible proficiency with many types of weapons including several different types of swords, nunchaku, gauntlets, and a scythe/guitar hybrid, displaying near mastery of them within moments of picking them up.He has also shown some skill in unarmed combat, managing to disarm and subdue Nero bare-handed in their second fight.Dante's skill with firearms is
impeccable.He has displayed enough accuracy to hit targets as small as the pommel of his sword; shoot his opponets' bullets out of mid-air; and hit the same target over and over with such unerring precision that his bullets stack on top of each other. Dante is also shown to have incredible hand-eye coordination; for example, he kicks the Neo-Generator into the statue above the bridge approximately 20 feet away from where he stands and kicks the seed of Echidna the She-Viper back at her to get her attention.Dante is rarely shown to struggle in battle and wins most of his fights with such ease that it often seems as though he were merely toying with his opponent, though he has been defeated by Vergil on two occasions.Nero appears to defeat Dante but Dante is almost totally un-phased by his assualt and claims to have underestimated Nero.

Thanks to his half-demon nature, Dante can release his demon power through his Devil Trigger.The form is influenced by which Devil Arm he carries, he has a pair of Devil Forms believed to be his "true" Devil form. These forms usually increase his speed and give him slow regeneration, and sometimes grant him new abilities, like flying.

it is implied that Dante's strength is not just due to his father, but also from his will to protect others. After Dante defeats Agnus,Dante tells him that the reason he's inferior is because Agnus surrendered his humanity. It is suggested that any demon who possesses the will to protect and love others rather than to simply destroy will gain the full might of their demonic power, though Dante, Vergil, and Nero may simply be exceptions due to possessing both human souls and demonic power.

Rebellion -



The Rebellion is Dante's Trademark weapon.Though it has the form of a standard claymore, it is a magical blade given to him as a keepsake from his father, and it serves as both a physical manifestation of his power, and through its name, meaning "resistance", a symbol of his spirit.The blade's power originally laid dormant, but through contact with Dante's blood it was awakened.

The Sparda and its unawakened form, Force Edge, is the beloved demon-forged swordwielded by the The Dark Knight Sparda himself, and magically imbued with his power.

Ebony and Ivory -


Ebony and Ivory Dante's trademark pair of personally customized, semi-automatic pistols, designed to rapidly fire bullets instilled with demonic power, and are the only weapon to appear in every installment in the series.The right gun, Ivory, was custom built for rapid firing and fast draw times, while the left gun, Ebony, has been modified for long-distance targeting and comfort.

Ebony & Ivory Designs
Ebony & Ivory are both M1911-style handguns chambered for the .45 ACP round, and boast a plethora of customized features:

• Both pistols have been modified with pivot-style triggers as opposed to the 1911's usual straight-pull trigger
  
• Both feature custom sight systems; Ebony uses a set of target sights, while Ivory uses a pair of combat sights
  
• Both feature ported muzzle compensators that reduce recoil and counteract muzzle flip. Both barrels are extend through the compensators and are ported to match the cuts in the compensators.
  
• Both use custom slides that have been noticeably thickened and reinforced along the slide travel rails and around the chamber and firing mechanism. The result is a slide that bears a resemblance to SIG-Sauer's M1911 line.
  
• Rails have been bolted to the forward portion of both frames. These rails are used to hold the compensators in place.
  
• Both use double-stack magazines with slam-pads.
  
• Both have gold-plated magazine releases, hammers, safety switches and triggers.
  
• Ebony features a hooked, two-handed trigger-guard, while Ivory uses a more traditional rounded trigger-guard.
  
• Both weapons use ergonomic wood grips which are inlaid with portraits of Victorian women; as befits their names, Ebony's is dark-haired, and Ivory's is fair-haired.
  
• Ebony's Ejection port is located on the left side of the
  weapon, as opposed to the right side (as Ebony is meant to be used left-handed, this causes spent brass to be ejected away from Dante.)
  

~Other Weapons~

Yamato - Yamato is Vergil's trademark dark-forged blade.It is a legendary sword that was once wielded by his father and was left to Vergil as a keepsake. It resembles a Japanese Ōkatana, though it is said to be able to cut through anything as it is even sharper than an Ōkatana and is imbued with tremendous magic. It also allows the blade to slice through the fabric of space itself.Its used by Dante.

Pandora - The Pandora is a demonic briefcase. It is able to transform into 666 separate, calamitous forms, and incorporates the Disaster Gauge into its functioning.Dante has access to seven of these forms. Although it is a Devil Arm, it is treated as a Fire Arm.It is weilded and used as a fire arm by Dante.

Gilgamesh - The Gilgamesh is a set of gauntlets, greaves, mask, and back armor and is and is obtained from Echidna's Hell Gate, which it was used to power. It is made of a devilish metal which absorbs organic material and transforms it to steel,
and its techniques can be empowered by engaging the thrusters on the gauntlets and greaves.The gauntlets have small drills on each arm capable of extending during some attacks like Real Impact and Divine Dragon, while the greaves have small saws allowing Dante to cut through enemies with by kicking when charged.It is wielded by Dante.

Lucifer - The Lucifer is a sword-summoning apparatus. It is a hellish weapon worn like a backpack, and is able to spawn 5 spectral swords to hover around it.These swords can be rearranged, thrown, or wielded, and will explode either after a short duration, or at a command from Dante, such as a clap, or throwing the rose held in his mouth. It is wielded by Dante as well.

+ P E R S O N A L I T Y +

Personality:
Dante is incredibly flippant, mouthing off to even the most powerful of demons, and he generally enjoys rubbing people the wrong way. He does mature as time goes by, but never really loses his attitude. Dante is seemingly unflappable, not showing fear whether he's being attacked by the Seven Hells in his office or being swallowed by a giant serpent demon.Dante rarely shows any seriousness. He can be serious when the situation calls for it, but he still maintains a fairly laid-back demeanor during such situations and is never without a witty taunt or comeback. Dante can seem at times to be uncaring or even callous, but actually has a very strong sense of justice and prefers to fight fairly. He can be counted on to do the right thing, even if he makes cynical quips about it the entire time. Unusually, while he has issues with his own demonic side, Dante has little qualms about accepting demons who choose the side of good, such as Trish and Bradley.Though Dante is quoted as believing that "Humans are often worse than demons" in the anime, he refuses to kill full-blooded humans for any reason. Dante values family and friends very highly. He cared deeply for his mother and, despite their differences, he also cared for Vergil.Dante still tried to save him when he (Vergil) was falling into the Demon World, and even went as far as to cry over losing him.

Despite verbally complaining about being in debt, Dante seems quite willing to perform missions solely for the good of them, and rarely enforces payment from poor clients. In fact, Dante will typically refuse any job he dislikes, regardless of how much it pays, but will immediately take on any paranormal cases (especially those involving demon hunting), with or without pay. Many of his clients take advantage of this good nature of his, and leave bills for property damage caused during the mission instead of paying for his services. He often borrows from Lady or gambles to repay these debts.However, he has extremely bad luck with gambling, and loses any game not involved with demon hunting.As a result he is horribly in debt to Lady, and is often left with no money at all after she takes her cut.

Dante has a fondness for pizza, and while he complains about olives, he always ends up with them on his pizza.

+ B A C K G R O U N D +

History
Dante is the second son of the demon Sparda and the human Eva, and the younger twin brother of Vergil.As such, he is a half-demon, half-human hybrid. Dante is a mercenary dedicated to exterminating demons; a mission he follows in pursuit of those that killed his mother and corrupted his brother.

Sometime before their eighth birthday, Eva gave Dante and Vergil each a half of the Perfect Amulet.Eventually, Sparda died, and Eva and the twins were left alone. When Dante was eight years old, he and his family were attacked by demons.Eva was killed, and though both Vergil and Dante survived, the twins were separated, and Dante believed Vergil to have died.At some point after this, Dante met Enzo and began a demon-hunting business under the alias Anthony "Tony" Redgrave.

Everything was set into motion when Lady came to Dante's office, offering a job. She told him about the Order of The Sword—a small congregation in the castle town of Fortuna, which worships Sparda—much to Dante's surprise.

Dante: "They worship a demon as a god?"

She explained that there is a legend of Sparda in that he served as a feudal lord at the city a long time ago. She also said that although peaceful worship can't be condemned, the Order's members recently started catching demons and collecting Devil Arms, interfering with her work. Trish, who was present and heard all this, departed with the Sparda sword, leaving a "see you there" message written in lipstick on the wall. There was nothing for Dante to do but to go to Fortuna after her.Later it is revealed that the Order's increased activity was because of The Savior — a giant artificial demon created by the Order, which is only controllable with Sparda's blood and sword.They started creating smaller copies of the true Hell Gate, which they powered with the gathered Devil Arms. These were needed to
harvest demons in order to power The Savior, as well as to lure Dante to Fortuna. It seems that Dante became aware of their plan, most likely through Trish, who disguised herself as Gloria and handed over the Sparda sword to infiltrate the Order.
Dante makes his entrance in Fortuna through the roof of the Opera House during the Festival of the Blade, executing the town's vicar Sanctus and slaying several Holy Knight's who try to subdue him. Nero, one of the Holy Knights, enraged that his love-interest Kyrie has been endangered, interrupts Dante and keeps him busy until Kyrie and her brother Credo can escape. After a brief fight with Nero, Dante reveals to him that the slain knights were actually demons, and leaves with a cryptic message to Nero, claiming that "We’re the same...you and...I...and them [the fallen knights]. Though I suspect you carry something different from the others". He then leaves Nero and heads for Fortuna Castle.On Credo's orders, Nero follows Dante, catching up to him at the entrance to Mitis Forest. However, Dante escapes by falling from the cliff into the forest. Nero finally confronts Dante within the Order's headquarters, but Nero no longer seeks to capture Dante because he has been betrayed by the Order. However, Dante challenges him for his brother's sword, Yamato, which Nero now possesses. After an intense battle, Nero at last gets the upper hand, but then Dante easily knocks Nero down, making Nero realize that Dante has been playing with him from the beginning.Dante explains that Yamato is the key to the Demon World, but allows Nero to continue using the sword because Nero needs it to rescue Kyrie.
However, Nero is absorbed by the Order's partly awakened The Savior, which is controlled by the revived Sanctus. Credo is mortally wounded trying to stop Sanctus, and the Yamato is taken by the Order's scientist, Agnus, to open the true Hell Gate in Fortuna. At the dying Credo's request, Dante follows The Savior back to town to rescue Nero and Kyrie after sending Trish to help the citizens escape to safety. Along the way, he kills Echidna, Dagon, and Berial, destroys the three fake Hell Gates they had emerged from, and obtains the Devil Arms that had powered the gates. Once he returns to the Opera House where this all began, he finds Agnus. The two fight, ending with Dante killing Agnus. Dante recovers the Yamato, closes the Hell Gate, and destroys it.

This catches the attention of Sanctus, who attempts to kill Dante using The Savior. However, Dante is able to weaken The Savior enough that he can reawaken Nero by returning the Yamato to him. Dante continues to distract The Savior while Nero tracks down Sanctus and slays him. Nero succeeds and breaks free of The Savior with Kyrie and the Sparda in his hands. However, before Dante could drag away an apology from Nero, The Savior reawakens as The False Savior, a much weakened version created by the weapon's merge with Sanctus. Nero hands Dante the Sparda, and attacks the atrocity with his Devil Bringer, destroying it.

When the battle is finally over, Nero thanks Dante for his help.
Afterwards, he attempts to return the Yamato to Dante, but tells him to keep it.

Nero: "What…? I thought this meant a lot to you...?"
Dante: "That’s the only kind of gift worth giving. I want to entrust it to you, and so I am. What you do from here is your call."

Nero asks if he will meet Dante again, but Dante leaves without a word.

After Dante returns to his shop, Lady enters and thanks Dante and Trish for helping her by eliminating the Order. She hands them the case with their payment, but it is revealed to contain only a few banknotes.Against Trish's protests, Lady claims that it was her fault that the situation got out of hand. Dante calms them down by commenting: "We take what we can get, right?".
Suddenly, the phone rings, and Trish informs Dante that it is a
customer with the password and is in the vicinity. Trish and Lady decide to come with Dante on this mission, and the scene ends.

~Dante's History (Custom-Made)~
After all it happened afterwards, he wanted to take a rest in his office.He was sleeping, he heard some footsteps coming to his direction.He woke up and saw a man.The Man seems to be a demon, He pointed at the man's forehead and pulled the trigger, firing point-blank on the head.Blood spills on his face, the blood was the demon's blood.The Man was shot, then he awakened and appears in his demon form.Dante knew he was a demon, he aim at the demon's head and shot the demon point-blank again.The Demon's head fell off, after the point-blank shot.He then walk out of his office, he stopped before he fell into the bottomless pit.He sees that outside of his office was only a bottomless pit.He then goes back into his office, taking and ready all his weapons.He goes back out and jumps into the bottomless pit.

After a few minutes later, the surrounding around him turns red.Then turns back into dark, Dante would land down onto a rough ground.It seems that he was in the demon world.He stood up and look at the bridge.It seems safe but it is not a safe bridge at all.He quickly ran over to the bridge, after he ran over the bridge, it was just in time.The bridge collapse down into the pit.It was unknown what is it inside.He then took a walk around the place, the place was unknown.After a few minutes of walk, he arrived into the Demon King's City.It seems that its a job for him to eliminate every demon he sees.He took out his rebellion, walking into the demon king's city and ready for the battle.And the story continues...

Unique Abilities:

First Devil Form - Dante's demonic power awakens, transforming both him and the Rebellion.Dante's demonic form is quite humanoid, though it possesses a demonic face and red, scaled skin. Its exact features, generally its cranial crest and the fins on its back.

Second Devil Form - Dante can transform into his demonic form from the beginning, and it is also unaffected by the weapon equipped. However, he can modify its abilities using the Amulet. Although this demonic form has a more matured appearance.

Ultimate Devil Trigger: Sparda - After Dante activated his ultimate devil trigger, He was a human sized, humanoid demon, with four toed reptilian paws, a semi-reptilian hide, a pair of sweeping horns, a pair of hybrid feathered/bat wings and reptilian spines protruding from his back.His entire body appears to be made of grey armor with accents and overtones of red and purple among his very white flash, and features biological
decorations, such as molten gold veins about his hands and arms, chest, shoulders and back, a diamond shaped red gem in the center of his chest, as well as gold knee and elbow guards.

Shishi Mōdo Appearance:
Dante is able to transform into his demonic form at his very first appearance, in which he is attacked by Nero, and it is unaffected by the weapon he has equipped. This demonic form is very reptilian, but the fins on its back cannot be used as wings, and are still shaped much like an insect's wings.

Shishi Mōdo Abilities:

Fire Demonic Bullets - He was able to fire out fire bullets from his gun and lights the enemy on fire if it makes contact with them.It has low damage but rapid fire.

Enhanced Speed - He wasnt able to flashstep or anything.But his movements are faster than before.

Enhanced Strength - His strength would increase.His rebellion also stronger and able to cut through steels (Iron pipe etc).

Mukō Jōtai Appearance:



Majin Form is Dante's True Devil Form.It is strongly reminiscent of Nelo Angelo, but is more bestial, with reptilian feet and wings.In this form, Dante has a few abilities and and has immense power, but it can only be activated when Dante uses Devil Trigger while in critical health. In this form, Dante wields a pair of twin blades that protrude from his forearms.

Mukō Jōtai Ablities:

Fireballs - Dante was able to fire enormous fireball from his hands.It deals moderate damage and its range are 500 meters away.Explodes when hit the ground.It explodes only 5 meters wide.

Blast of Light and Darkness - In this form, Dante can fire out a huge blast of light and darkness from his hands.It deals high moderate and deals once of fatal damage every 5 weeks.Its range are 200 meters away.

Enhanced Speed - Dante was now faster then before in this form.His speed was fast enough to catch up a flashstep but not fast enough to catch up with sonido.

Immense Strength - In this form, he was able to break through anything.He also can cut through a cero with his twin blades easily wihout a single effort.

Fly - Dante has the ability to fly with the wings behind him.He could move freely around the sky.

Dante would be sitting in his office, playing with his rebellion.He spins the rebellion around.He took a pizza from the table and hold it up, he opens his mouth and puts the pizza into his mouth.A few demons appeared and stabs around his body.Dante then accidentally dropped the pizza.He punches the demon's head, the demon turned into a pile of sands.He walk to the radio, trying to find a music.It was unable to connect, he sighed.He slam his fist down, breaking the radio.As the music starts as soon as the radio is broken.He picked up the pizza, ignoring the demon's attack.He swings his leg back, kicking the demons away from him.He then pull out the scythe from him and use it as a weapon.He stabs the demon's head and kick the demon away.He took another scythe from his shoulder, stabbing the demon's chest.He grab Ebony from the floor and aim at the demon's head.He pulled the trigger and shot the demon point-blank on the head.He jumps back and stands onto a demon, he put his left leg on the ground and start sliding.He shoots every demon while spinning, as he pick up the Ivory and shoots at the demons as he spins around.He jumps back and the demon crashed onto the wall.He shoots at the demons with his Ebony and Ivory at the mid-air.He lands down and grabs his cerberus, slashing the demons into half.
