Over the years Our little Momo has grown up quiet a bit just like Hitsugaya. Her eyes have warm brown eyes that could melt even the coldest of hearts. The female had grew about 5'4 and for the longest while, her chest finally blossomed out. Though her hair is longer above the shoulders but down to her backside. Though over the few years the outfit that was given to her was a bit reveal due to the previous captain's style and still is awaiting a new outfit.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

Personality:

The maiden surely shows a smile when ever she can, even it is a sad on. Momo tends be a sweet girl as well. She is very easily be-friended and knows what to do as a captain even, but she manages to find the time to enjoy being a woman of her age. There is always that one man who could make her smile anytime despite his cold front display with watermelons, and possibly with a sweet kiss on lips; Hitsugaya Toushiro... Or How she says it... Shiro-chan...or now Shiro-kun. As much as he hates that name 'Shiro-chan' it always managed to make her smile and giggle towards his reaction. When ever she in not on duty, she hanging out with the women shinigami association or on most days she is visit Hitsugaya.
That is one thing you don't see from Momo is her anger , but today she will now put her foot down. If that doesn't work then she either send them to the 11th division or punt them herself. As see with Gin, she will more then willing to go out for blood then to be expected if someone is hurt closet to them, most importantly Hitsugaya. He is the only one who is watching her back, so she is willing to watch his...

Sure many say that people are fools when they are in love... Momo is that woman who was love in Hitsugaya and always will be.. He was with her where no one else was for her when Aizen betrayal her.. she was always there with him; even though he stabbed her. No matter what , she would forgive him but he always took the toll onto him. She wants to be there for him when things like that get to him. It is something that the maiden has not grown out off, It was her impulsive ways; this goes for various things.. Like say that she did something would upset Hitsugaya, she would bring about several melons the next day asking forgiveness. On the hand this is very good in battles she knows when to dodge and to attack quickly while the enemy is still recovering. Impulsive also is a stress thing as well... If she is so stress the female would be more easily worried.

B A C K G R O U N D

History/Background:

Momo grew up in Junrinan, District 1 of Rukongai, along with Tōshirō Hitsugaya. While Hitsugaya tended to be a bit of a brat as a child, Momo found him amusing and treated him like a younger brother. The two have a close friendship, reflected by Momo giving him the nickname Shiro-chan although Momo is older than Tōshirō, it gives him the best reason to protect her. Even more, the two are very close and have promised to protect each other. When Momo entered the Shinigami Academy, she excelled at Kidō. It was there that she met Izuru Kira and Renji Abarai, who soon became her friends and, later, her fellow lieutenants.

Her friendship with Izuru Kira and Renji Abarai began back in the Shinigami Academy on a standard field exercise to the real world to practice performing the Konsō (Soul Burial), and combat with artificial Hollow replicas. The exercise was led by Shūhei Hisagi. Everything went well until a group of Huge Hollows attacked them. Shūhei told everyone to run, but Momo turned to see Shūhei being attacked by a Huge Hollow. She ran to help him, and was followed, somewhat reluctantly, by Renji and Izuru. The group, at first, managed to escape but ended up being surrounded by even more Large Hollows, however backup arrived in the form of Fifth Division Captain Aizen and his Lieutenant Gin Ichimaru.[6] Momo began idolizing Aizen from that moment. Later, Momo was assigned to Aizen's Division after her graduation from the Shinigami Academy. After Gin's eventual promotion to Captain, Momo made her way through the ranks to be Aizen’s Lieutenant (through much hard work as noted by Hitsugaya).

Both Momo and Izuru Kira presented Renji with the news of his promotion to the 6th Division as their new lieutenant. Ikkaku Madarame told Renji that, due to his promotion, he was now closer to Rukia in status and that he should renew his friendship with her. Izuru also informed him that Rukia was being stationed in the Human World, and Momo urged Renji to go after her before it was too late, but Renji refused, stating that it wasn't official until the ceremony anyway, and that he'd rather surprise her with his new promotion after she returned. It was a bit sudden for even Momo that her emotions developed towards Shiro-chan. She would approach him just to find herself with the cute little butterflies within her stomach. She found herself in his arms one summer night; with a promise made by the cold hearted Hitsugaya himself... That one day they would be wedded when they were both matured and she agreed to it. Her love was admitted as his own shined through the freeze desert of ice..

She is the first to arrive to the lieutenants' meeting, and is sitting on the floor. She asks Renji if he’s seen Aizen anywhere, and when she admits that she’s noticed him acting weird lately and is near tears, Renji lies and denies the fact that he has just had a conversation about Rukia with him. The captain of the 10th Division, Tōshirō Hitsugaya has been one of Hinamori's close friends since they both lived in Rukongai. She still calls him "Hitsugaya-kun" sometimes, and only once does she call him her old nickname for him, "Shirō-chan," and that is when she is under severe stress. He is worried about Hinamori, and warns her to watch out for Gin before Aizen’s "murder." As a result, Hinamori attacks Gin when Aizen’s body is discovered, and is countered by Izuru. She actually releases her Shikai when Izuru refuses to let her kill his captain. Hitsugaya arrives and stops both of them in an instant. He orders them to be restrained and to be imprisoned.

Hinamori is desolate over the death of Aizen, but his last letter to her reaches her through Hitsugaya and his lieutenant, Rangiku Matsumoto. Matsumoto points out that if the letter had been found by any of the other captains, she wouldn’t have been allowed to see it. The letter holds Aizen’s "secrets" and his knowledge of the conspiracy. However, it is a sham letter meant to blame Hitsugaya for everything, including Aizen's "death." When Hinamori escapes from her cell, she goes after Hitsugaya, and Gin, who has arrived on the scene, merely laughs. Hitsugaya attempts to deal with Gin, but Hinamori tries to stop him. He hits her much harder than he means to, and in the fray with Gin that follows, Gin traps Hitsugaya in a situation that is either be killed or let Hinamori die. Hitsugaya realizes this too late, but fortunately Matsumoto reappears to stop Gin's sword.Hinamori is put back into a cell and a spell is put on her cell by Hitsugaya to keep others from attacking her. It is very difficult to break from the outside, but very easy to break from the inside. However, Hitsugaya didn't count on Hinamori’s determination to avenge Aizen and break the spell from the inside. She hides her presence and follows Hitsugaya and Matsumoto and is shocked to find the Central 46 massacred. She is reunited with Aizen briefly, but she is betrayed by him. He stabs her through the chest and she nearly dies.

When Hitsugaya returns to the Central 46 Compound, he sees Hinamori’s body. He is surprised to see the one behind it all was Aizen and not Gin. Aizen's reasoning behind almost killing Hinamori was that he built her to not be able to live without him. He claims to have done her a favor by killing her. He tried to get other people to kill Hinamori, but that failed, so he was left with no choice but to kill her himself. Hitsugaya attacks Aizen. He is easily defeated. Fortunately, even that failed, and he abandoned Hinamori and Hitsugaya once Unohana and Isane showed up on the scene at the Central 46 Chambers.

Arrancar Arc

She is seen briefly talking with Tōshirō Hitsugaya through a video monitor after Yamamoto debriefed Hitsugaya on Aizen’s plan concerning the King's Key, and the Head-Captain allows Momo to talk. Hitsugaya is somewhat surprised to see her up and asks her if she should be walking around. Momo tries to persuade him that she is better, though she still doesn't look it. Momo apologizes for not believing Hitsugaya and attacking him. Hitsugaya tells her not to worry about as it did not bother him. He also tells her to get back to bed so she can get rid of those bags under her eyes. Momo thanks Hitsugaya for accepting her apology until he tells her, even if she isn't one she looks like a little kid, and if she doesn't sleep more she won't ever grow. Momo yells at him, telling him he isn't one who should talk about growing.

Hitsugaya then reminds her that she is to call him Captain Hitsugaya. As Momo realizes the situation, she asks Hitsugaya if he is going to fight Captain Aizen. To which Hitsugaya says yes, she then asks if he is going to kill Captain Aizen, and then begs him to save Aizen. She explains that what Captain Aizen is doing is bad, but she bets he has a good reason. Expressing her belief that Gin or someone else is forcing him to engage in his actions. She is quickly knocked out by Yamamoto, who hands over her care to his lieutenant, Chōjirō Sasakibe. Yamamoto apologizes to Hitsugaya, saying he was just respecting her wishes allowing her to speak but it was perhaps too soon.

Fake Town Arc~

She suddenly appears in the battle of Fake Karakura Town, launching a fireball through Tobiume at Apacci, who was about to attack Rangiku Matsumoto. She declares herself as Aizen's enemy; Matsumoto, however, worries slightly, as she still addresses him as 'Captain'. Upon disclosing her method of sneaking up on Apacci to Tia Harribel's Fracción, namely through using her mastery of Kidō to conceal her presence, she engulfs the three in an explosion caused by her applying Tobiume to a "Kidō net".

However, the Arrancar use their Resurrección to heal themselves and then combine their powers to counter attack. Each of them sacrifice their left arm and use them to form a creature with an ability they call Quimera Parca. Apacci claims that it's name is "Ayon", and Rangiku tries to defend herself against the creature, but it tears through the right side of her abdomen, severely injuring her. Momo tries to save Rangiku, and is fast enough to capture her in a star-shaped Kidō net, but the creature attacks Momo as well, taking her out with one punch to her stomach, stating that all of her bones are broken. She is saved by the timely arrival of Izuru Kira and Shūhei Hisagi.

Soon enough she found herself at the end of the path. The war was over and everything was fine. Expect Hitsugaya who was scared to even come close to the maiden. She would just smile at him and tell him everything is fine.. but he still ask so cold at times, that she doesn't know where the relationship would go. Four hundred years later the female could no help to find herself in the captain's spot of the 9th division. It is interesting how almost every captain there had changed to the bad side... Tousen, April, and was this going to be the same for her? Momo just hoped not. Since Momo began to overwork herself, she has noticed that she always has been training too much to even focus on everything else. Sometime she would get home later 4pm... While sometimes she didn't come home for weeks at an end because she was so devoted to protect herself and others... But one thing is sure... That Hitsugaya only grew colder towards her...

Natural Abilities:

Expert Swordsmanship Specialist: Momo is proficient enough to cross swords with other lieutenant-level Shinigami. While she is capable enough in swordsmanship to attain her high-level seated position. She knowingly states when facing Harribel's Fracción that she knows she is not strong enough to combat them using her swordsmanship skills, instead sneaking up on them and using Kidō.

Enhanced Durability: After being a pin cushion for many events, Momo has trained herself to have some type of durability

Shunpo: Hinamori is skilled enough in the use of Shunpo that she can keep up with lieutenant-level Shinigami.

Kidō Expert: Momo, like Izuru, but unlike Renji, excels at Kidō. Momo is a Kidō master as stated by Captain Hitsugaya and Izuru. Her abilities reach to such a pinnacle that she can devise ways to use multiple spells in conjunction with each other (as well as her Zanpakutō) to make a unique way in which to attack and incapacitate her opponents. In this way she can make common spells all her own. She is also able to use a single Kidō technique on two separate targets at once. Hinamori also has some skill with healing Kidō.

High Spiritual Power: Being a lieutenant of the Gotei 13, Momo boasts a high spiritual energy.

killed Tactician: Knowing her own limitations in direct battle, Momo has shown herself able to compensate for it through crafty combination attacks (such as when she caught Sung-Sun, Mila Rose, and Apacci in a Kidō net). By using her mastery of Kidō, Momo is able to attack in a number of versatile ways.

Zanpakutô Spirit Name: Tobiume (飛梅, "Flying Plum Tree")

Tobiume's spirit is that of a small girl dressed in traditional Japanese clothing which consist of a white kimono jacket and purple hakama. Tobiume also wears a light yellow obi tied in a bow around her waist with two long ribbons on the end. She carries two large round bells, such as the ones used in temples, tied to the long pink sash that encircles her body. She has long brown hair with a cylinder shaped clip on one individual bang and wears a hairpin in a shape similar to Momo's Shikai in it.

Along with Sode no Shirayuki, she is one of the most gentle spirits shown so far, apologizing to her opponents during her attack and, before revolting, she consoled Momo Hinamori during her depression caused by Aizen.

While highly polite in battle, she has a somewhat mischievous side, as seen from her regular teasing and fighting with Haineko. This attitude soon becomes slightly kinder and more cheerful after being freed from Muramasa's control, something that is noted by Haineko. Her reason for leaving Momo is revealed to be her disdain for Momo's naivety in the nature of people, which makes Momo stubbornly believe that all people have goodness in them. She shares Haineko's slightly perverted attitude regarding the male Zanpakutō Senbonzakura, but is somewhat more 'modest', nervously expressing disbelief that they actually were spying on Senbonzakura in the Men's Bath, to see what his face looks like, but nonetheless shown blushing when she sees a nude Senbonzakura come into view, only to find him still wearing his mask.

Sealed Zanpakutô : In its sealed state, Tobiume takes the form a regular katana with the only slight difference being the five-petal flower designs stamped on the rectangular tsuba with a light red handle. Her Zanpakutō is a Fire-type.

Release: "Snap Tobiume!"

Shikai Description: Tobiume's blade straightens and produces two jutte-like prongs (three in the anime) along its length at various intervals.

Shikai Abilities:

In this form, Tobiume releases exploding fire balls from its blade, it can block a cero with ease.

It is nothing fancy...

Bankai Apperance: When Momo transcends into her Bankai State, a huge burst of fire will spread for about 300 meters in a wave of powerful flames that can possibly harm her opponents. This, however, does not effect her allies or neutral parties as the flames themselves are synced with Momo's memory and automatically disburse invisible shields to anyone who is not involved in her fight. From there, in a series of astonishing lights that range from yellow, to red, to orange will appear all around Momo and extend towards the sky in the shape of rings. Afterward, Momo will emerge from the smoke and lights a new woman.

The illuminations that were once there will take shape in three different forms. The red light will cover Momo's blade in order to make extremely hot to the touch, between 1000-1200 degrees Fahrenheit at peak moments. The heat will be so intense, in fact, that it even spread for fifty meters around Momo in order to make opponents feel hot, dazed and eventually sub to the effects of being in the heat too long.

The Yellow light will then go on to engulf a ten meter radius around Momo. This is meant to symbolize her mastery over Kidō. Therefore, within this light, Momo will be able to conjure up all kinds of different Kidō almost instantly by simply visualizing it within her head. Of course it will still take reitsu , but for the most part she won't have to rely on chanting spells.

Finally, the orange light will be used as a third set of eyes along with another source of intense heat. By her will alone, she can break apart the particles that make up this light and scatter hundreds of eyes across the battle field and sync up into her brain in order to get a full birds eye view on her opponent. Not only that, but she can even send this light underground in order to form an extremely long line that goes from the ground all the way near the Earth's core over a span of five post in order to transfer that intense heat and transform the Earth around her, within a 1000 meter radius, into a lava of fire that she can control, launch attack's and create Kidō from in order to weak havoc on her opponent. The orange light, however, requires a bit of reitsu, but the benefits of it are extremely worth it if Momo wishes to have the patience.

And finally, the last change made to Momo's appearance will be that she attains a set of wings that look similar to a bird. When one post has passed, a massive fire bird created from fire and her reitsu will arise from these wings and span for about 100 meters. This bird will be able to launch many fire attack's, protect Momo and even launch Kidō by being synced up to Momo's mind and reitsu. It can do as many Kidō as Momo is capable of doing.

Bankai Abilities

Vast Spiritual Power: When Momo transforms into her Bankai, most people will begin to feel smothered, weighed down, extremely hot and the loud sounds of explosions can sometimes ring in their ear's. It's a very specular sight to see her transform. Her reitsu even has the ability to melt, set fire or burn other characters if they fall victim to her effects. However, more often then not, she limits this in order to protect people and the environment.

Enhanced Speed: Though not extremely fast, Momo's overall speed seems to have increased in Bankai. She can move, react and even think quicker within Bankai. It's even possible for her to launch attack's and double their speed in some cases if she puts her mind to it. Therefore, she has enhanced speed.

Kidō Mastery: Over the past four hundred years, Momo has worked long and hard trying to perfect the one thing she is great at; kiodu. She's pushed herself above and beyond in order to attain a mastery of Kidō as seen by how she uses her bankai. It's even possible for her to do high level Kidō spells without even making a chant. Therefore, she has a mastery in Kidō. She can create, fuse and cancel out her own Kidō moves at any given time if she chooses to. It's even possible for her to merge this Kidō with her own attack's to create a new potential for her powers. For example, she can use her Kidō in order to turn her Fire Bird into a Water, Ice, Lighting or Gas bird. The same can be said for the lava she creates with the orange light.

Fire Element: In Bankai, it seems Momo has a complete control of fire that she controls. For instance, if her fire was to fuse with a natural fire, eventually she would gain full control of it. Not only that, though, she can even create her own flames given enough reitsu and energy. Therefore, almost out of thin air, she can create deadly fire attack's if someone should try to confront her in a short ranged battle.

Heat Control: To go along with her set of fire abilities, Momo is also able to alter the environment within a 500 meter radius in order to increase the heat. Given enough energy or reitsu, Momo can even begin to melt attack's, things or people by compressing this area to a 50 meter area and releasing large waves of deadly heat at her opponents.

Nova Flare: If Momo wills it, it's possible to transfer all the energy and reitsu she creates into Bankai within her body. At that point, her body eclipse and possibly blind everything within a 800 meter radius. The very heat alone from her body, during this stage, can possibly melt, set fire and eradicate everything during this one post period. After the light is gone, Momo's entire body will be engulfed in flames, she'll have a pair of bird like wings on her back and her eyes will glow bright red. During the duration of three post, Momo will have insane human strength comparable to Radioactive or Kenpachi, insane defense comparable to Oni Chiita or Hollow Ichigo, insane durablity able to withstand at least a dozen cero's fired at her and her body will be so hot, that if you are even ten feet away from her, you'll suffer intense burns.

What's the catch? She can't do any Kidō, any energy attack's and after the three post are done, she will be extremely weakened. Her body will suffer burns, cuts and she'll be unable to continue the fight In most cases. However, before she goes into this state, it's possible for her, at peak power during post 3, to create a massive explosion that cover 2000 meters. This explosion will cancel out all types of Kidō, energy attack's and reitsu use for one thread, it will leave the land scorched in fire and the person caught in it will suffer fourth degree burns able of killing them. Not only that, but if her prime target is caught in this explosion they may not even be able to use their attack's properly for one thread.

After this explosion, Momo will not be able to use her bankai for three day's in real time. So this is a final move and must be used with caution. If she over does it, it's even possible for her to damage her own body.

Drawbacks: As everyone knows, it takes reitsu to create Kidō. It takes energy to create attack's. Therefore, the limit of Momo's bankai is that it's VERY easy to drain her of energy. If that happens, she may even revert back to her Shikai within a matter of two or three post's. It can take a tole on her body physically by making her sluggish, clouding her judgement and making her confused. In some cases Momo even throws up large amounts of blood, organs can sometime be raptured and sometimes faint in mid fight. So, with this limiter, she must use her Bankai carefully and be wise in her attack as they extremely powerful.
