Info: This is a special-made modification to the Prosthetic Limb. A small hollow area has been crafted in the false left arm, at the forearm. By pressing a button located inside the bicep, Kurokotsu can open up a hole in his palm, from which the compartment is connected. By doing so, he can slide his Zanpakuto in or out. Due to the chain-like nature of his Zanpakuto, he can bend his wrist freely without getting in the way. He can go into Shikai or Bankai without removing the Zanpakuto, allowing him to act as if the chain is a part of his body.

As the second part of the modification, Kurokotsu can unscrew the hand of his left arm, so that it can fly off on his Shikai and latch onto something. He rarely uses this, but it’s there if he needs it.
