[The Path Begins]
It was mid-day in Karakura Central. Most of the citizens were out and about this day either taking care of business, guarding the city, submerging themselves into the cyber world or just plain trying to stay alive through this very hard and unknown times. It had been at least two months since the day The Espada, Sin Fall and The Kokuryuteishi had waged their war on some of the major population centers on Earth. Most people will never forget the day Mana, the apparent master mind of that particular take over, consumed the city in darkness and took over that section in a horrifying display of raw power with the help of Clarie Clixx and Asheli Clixx.
That thought simply angered Shadin that during the time these events were taking place, he was too busy dealing with the Captain Commander in the Soul Society order to help out with Earth. If only they had expanded the Yuudeshi Network into the Soul Society more timely, Shadin could have dealt with those three threats on his own. Damn, even if he didn't have that expansion, Shadin believed he would still do his part to protect Earth. The SCU Unit and The Yayjuu did their best to help Earth's forces and protect the other major cities of the globe, but it's become apparent to Shadin that things are becoming extremely dire here. Something is going on with the higher-ups of their orgs and he feels that in his blood they are up to something.
Sigh, but what the fuck can you do? The only thing left to do now is strengthen Earth's forces, prepare all organization's for a holy war like no other and keep himself alive in order to make a difference. After all, during the past few weeks Shadin's has been going balastic in the city. He killed a mass murder named 48 who was lurking in the streets, changed the lives of hundreds of people he killed and displaced in The Slums Of Old Karakura, paid off million's of yen to multiple people, arrested one of the infamous Kokuryuteishi Commanders in a swift take down and even curb stomped some punk who set blaze to 1/4 of Karakura Forest.
Heh, it's been one crazy ride to say the least. Now, with alot of those things calming down, Shadin would then find himself in Karakura City roaming the streets. As of now, he was wearing a pair of black shoes and denim jeans that went together with his white shirt and similarly dark colored jacket that had a black fur hood. This jacket also had The Yayjuu's symbol engraved on it in white with a few markings on his jeans and a silver chain hanging from his right pocket. To most, Shadin seemed to be dressed rather nicely. After all, he's got money to blow after saving the world so many times.
As he made his way through the crowds with his head down, all Shadin could do was think about most of the events in the past year or so. It weighed down on his conscious, but right now he had no time to deal with his emotions. Instead, today he wanted to check in on The Yuudeshi Network. Thus, after taking a short walk throughout the city, Shadin discretely disappeared into a back alley-way behind some buildings until he eventually found the ol' lil' shack that Kisuke Urahara held.
"I wonder if the mad man is in..." Uttered Shadin with a slight chuckle. He knew that at least if Urahara wasn't there, he had permission to access the underground base that held the one the most powerful assets in Earth changing the tide in this war; The Yuudeshi Network and the SCU Unit. Closing eyes a bit, flash backs of some of the failed and earlier sets of clones rushed into his mind. It wasn't always easy street with these damned things. The Original Set's of clones that were created had too much power, not enough brain mass and either ended up killing themselves or Shadin himself had to terminate them in brutal experiments. Not only that, but during the course of their modification and creation, Shadin was forced to kill dozens of clones that wanted to escape, wanted to kill or take their place as the only Shadin.
He had to do it, or else his entire reputation would go down the shitter, Earth would be placed in an even greater danger and he just wouldn't be able to live with himself. It still haunts him what happened, trying not even to remember those details of what happened to first batch of clones. But, knowing his fate to be a semi-immoral 'least he be killed, Shadin would simply have to bury in it the past and move on with this new generation of clones. Having to protect them, make them learn and grow into their own people. It was his fatherly duty, in a sense, to make sure things went alright with them.
Heh, after all, it's why he choose this exact place to place the Network and base. When Shadin's own dad betrayed him by sealing both himself and the infamous demon, Oni Chiita, inside of his body, Shadin had no one else to turn to about these problems but Urahara. Mr.Hat N' Clogs helped Shadin through this trying period by creating the seal on his body, helping him gain dominance over his body, performing all types of experiments and research tools on Shadin to make sure he was stable and teaching him to properly use his powers at first.
In some sense, he was the father Shadin needed during that crisis. So, with a smirk on his face and a slight chuckle, Shadin would make his way up to Urahara's door and begin knocking to let him know he has arrived. "Oi', you there Mr.Hat N' Clogs?! You got a visitor today." Shouted Shadin while grinning slightly.
"And this visitor wants to see his kids!"

Kisuke Urahara had been wandering around his comfy little shop all day, restocking the shelves and keeping things up to date. Normally he could be found in his lab or in his basement training grounds keeping up his abilities, but today was a restocking day. He had to be sure the shelves were full of the supplies shinigami needed to perform their duties, and various things for humans who wandered in as well. Not that many did, as they tended to prefer the superstores, but he made sure to be ready for when it happened. Some shinigami took interest in the human items as well.
As for his inventions, they hadn't come out much. He had just been working on improving things he'd already made, such as the gigai and soul candy. As great as his creations were, no creation was perfect. They could always find room for improvement. That was one thing he loved about research and development. You were never truly done. It was something that could always keep him busy.
Kisuke hadn't heard from many people lately, and wondered what was going on with the earth. Things seemed normal, but he was always the first person people went to when things started to go to shit. He supposed the fact he hadn't had many visitors was a good thing, but his intuition told him differently. Things seemed too quiet, too peaceful. He was expecting a visitor any day.
His thoughts were confirmed when he heard a knock at the door, and the voice of an old friend. "Oi', you there Mr.Hat N' Clogs?! You got a visitor today. And this visitor wants to see his kids!" Kisuke went to the door and opened it with a smirk. "Well, if it isn't Shadin Yuudeshi. Long time no see, my old friend. How goes it?" As glad as he was to see Shadin, he knew it meant things were going down the shitter, like he had thought. "I'm afriad the kids are busy right now, but i'm sure they'll be thrilled to see you."
Kisuke moved to the center of the room, were several pillows and a low to the floor, Japanese style table sat in between them. He sat down in his usual spot, resting his cane on his lap. "So, what brings you to my humble little shop today Shadin? Would it be safe to assume this visit is more important than merely supply shopping?"

[Let's Rock N' Roll!]
Relived to see that Urahara was there to greet him, Shadin stretched out his arms and wrists as he placed each of his hands above his head. "Yeah, it has been awhile since I've dropped by this place." Shadin said to Urahara before placing each of his hands back inside of his jacket's pockets. "If you haven't heard by now, I've been all over the place lately. Dealing with low-life shitheads, press converses, tracking down Midori, preparing my men for war, dealing out large sums of money and taking care of shit like a boss-man should be, heh." Taking a glance inside, he knew the clones would be there to greet him any minute. It's been a few weeks since he's seen the clones on such a natural level to.
"Yeah, they'll be very thrilled to greet me. I can bet you all the yen in my possession on that." Closing his eyes and chuckling a bit, he tapped into The Yuudeshi Network and could feel them preparing for Shadin's arrival. It honestly made him smile a bit since he hasn't seen his own children in so many years. In some ways, this kind of filled the void his family left in his heart. "Heh..." Was all Shadin could say for a slight moment, feeling a slight pang in his heart from that miserable thought. To think that these clones may one day replace his family was a really painful thought to bare. Them and him for the rest of their natural born lives should they not be killed.
"Tch..." However, Shadin did not want to dwell on those thoughts as he shaked his head to erase those thoughts and replace them with happy ones. He honestly needed to go on disregarding his feelings again, least he end up like some of the other miserable folk' in this day and age. So, Shadin would then go on to follow Kisuke with a slight hint of sadness and confusion in his eyes, though it would be hard to tell with the kind of person Shadin is. After the dis-banding of his family and friends, he couldn't really go on expressing these feelings to many others, but knew he had to keep it together so that one day in the future he could attain that same happiness again. This period simply had to pass for Shadin.
"What brings me here?" Asked Shadin when he fully entered the shop and the area Kisuke was in. "Heh, today, I suppose I'm here to see those kids. They need to see their leader I suppose..." Taking a seat down at the table, Shadin would then go on to sigh slightly. "With all the madness going on from this war, I don't want them to get too spoked or resort to methods to alter their brain..." Staring down at the table, that thought did slightly disturb Shadin in his head, but the like the others, it would have to be fuzzed out.
"It's gonna take alot of work if we ever to change the fate of this world..." Pausing for a brief moment, a quick glimpse of Kin Iramasha flashed in Shadin's head as he began to bite on his own lip. "...and to defeat those who wish to see it changed in such a way that it will comprise our way of life." Turning his head towards the word, Shadin would pay close attention to the birds flying away from the area and into the sunny skies. "Ever since I was a kid you know I've been fighting against impossible odds. I've fought against the likes of Nero and his army, the personal battles against Oni Chiita, controlling my powers, dealing with the many lives taken by my own hands, the war against Ender and the fight to save Kin..." Taking another deep sigh, Shadin would then turn back to the table and stare again.
"...I'm just not sure where my mind state is anymore..." Switching topics, it was obvious Shadin couldn't place extacly which feelings to focus on the most. "After living so long, it gets kind of hard to bare with all these memories. Before pleasant and painful..." Rubbing his temples a bit, he could feel the strain and stress of his life beginning to take it's toll on him mentally and emotionally. "Heh, some day's I can almost feel myself slipping into the psychotic blind rage whenever I fight against the people who want to see me dead..." Flashback's of the murder of 48 and his brief battle with Kade The Demon were a testament to that fact. Never in the past, apart from when Demon Shadin had influence on him, did Shadin become so violent and reckless with his powers.
"Fuck man, I hardly even know what I'm talking about at this point. It would be too much of a pain to use the network to scramble these hazy memories in my head..." At this point, he really didn't wanna go into anymore detail. Anymore of this shit and he'd probably just jam out inside of that mind of his.
"...heh, at any rate, let's just prepare to go down to the lair of my clones..."

As Shadin sat down, we went on to Kisuke about the things that were bothering his mind. The war with Nero, his own personal inner conflicts, and things of the likeness. It was true that, from a very young age, Shadin had been relied upon by many people. He had become the youngest operative to ever enter the rankings of the gotei 13, which was an impressive feat. Kisuke could also understand the pain of memories. Lives taken by ones own hands. He agreed with Shadin that the current path the world was on was destructive, and it would take a lot to change it. However, the change would be necessary.
After his friend finished speaking, he had a few things to say himself. "Sounds like you've had a lot on your mind lately. It's not surprising. I can understand the pain of causing many lives lost." In a sense, his creation of the Hogyoku was what allowed Sousuke Aizen to come so close to succeeding in his plans. Luckily, he had been stopped by the work of many powerful people. Kisuke could only imagine the end result of his plans succeeding. However, his thoughts were interrupted by Shadin.
"...heh, at any rate, let's just prepare to go down to the lair of my clones..."
Kisuke nodded and stood up. The clones would be back any time, according to Shadin, so it would be best to quit reminiscing on things that cannot be changed, and keep looking ahead to things they could have an effect on. It would have been sad if shit hit the fan and they neglected to prepare for what was coming. Kisuke decided it would be best for Shadin to lead the way. After all, they were his"children". He was sure they'd be as glad to see him as he was to see them.

There was very rumor going about the famous beauty, Selena Mino. Despite her big come back to the modeling career after some time making her money like crazy, not a single soul could follow her. It was like she would disappear after each job she completes. Of course up in the town, she had her name in lights and billboards everywhere covered with her image. Just no one could find her, not even Koichi... That was the best thing for the maiden. The rage of the young boy, of course she kept in contact with Ketsu. It surprises her, that he would even want to talk to her after leaving. Like he said himself, Love is never long lasting, and Koichi had to learn that sooner or later. Wishes were wishes... Not even Selena's dream will come true, finding out that her life was a lie itself and her love was never going to be responded to. Truly most people would kill themselves after knowing this information, though... Selena was never that type. Selena hated wavering between men, of course, left those she loved, trying to forget them. One would think it would be hard, but Selena could never forget. Hanako might have asked the maiden watch her bar, Selena had to decline. The rumors about the area was that she was hanging out with little Koichi. 'What a pain in my ass... I can't make a friend without getting Iramasha involved.' The blond haired maiden stumbled along outside in a form unfamiliar to many. Her long ears jiggled and wiggled as she went walked along the sidewalk. This appearance was completely differently, then her normal appearance....
Selena's blue orbs glanced around the outside. Earlier that day the female went out to get a few kimono's... The outfit she wore was on that her maid's from her mansion made. Her long golden locks flows freely among the strong winds. It smelt wonderful, like Humans... Not lies or Iramasha. It was just... Fresh for her. "Haha!" That smile beamed out like no other could not help but find herself skipping happily. She could not wait until she was back to the shop. There she would do her normal things around the shop. Charm a fool or two to buy candy or even soul mod. It was interesting how men and women were lured towards her... Well It earned the owner of the shop a good bit of money; in return the maiden was able to stay with him and the two children. It was weird at first but the 'princess' didn't mind it at all. "I am back!!" Yet there was no answer to her call, which caused her head to tilt to the left. 'That is weird. It is so weird that I could cut the air with a knife... It is so... Eary.' Those ears pin back, mist began to roll in... Why? In the shadows their was something awaiting her ever so patiently. It was a ghoul awaiting orders. "Your royalty... Let me speak to your Ketsu... I do remembering seeing that he wanted to use you once again and that filthy boy of his." Selena shook her head and glanced away with those beautiful eyes. It enraged her a bit that the ghoul spoke as Koichi as filthy but it didn't know better, it was mere a messager. "Tell him, I have nothing to gain working for him or even being near him. That if he wants to talk to me there let it be face to face about the matter. I am sick being a puppet of insane man and gaining shit from it." Selena sounded almost bitter while hissing at the ghoul... Her fist uncurled until as a wave of calmness overwhelmed her. It was the first time actually Selena spoke back to Ketsu no less. First Koichi... Now Ketsu. The Ghoul made it's way back into the shadows there for leaving. This only made the female sigh in grief. 'This shit again... I don't want to be used like toy or even a puppet...'
Brushing the topic off of her shoulders the maiden slide the door open to see Kisuke and a male... that was not registered in her memory. He seemed so... young and bowing towards both of them. "I am sorry Kisuke-san, and Guest for interrupting. "Selena smiled a bit worried, before walking over towards Kisuke. Swaying her hips back and forth like any lady would around handsome men and AND sexy women. But something was not right, maybe it was the major sort of death energy surging through her blood but Selena was a bit confused on why they were standing up. The maiden only crossed her arms a bit, "If you want me to... I will watch over the shop, Kisuke-san while you are gone."

[Start The Beat]Nodding somberly from what Urahara had said about their current situation, Shadin clenched his fist in a mental protest while trying his very hardest in order to shake off these damned feelings of self-loathing, despair and misery from his mind. At this point and time, it was not an option at all to fall into such a pitiful emotional and mental state with the entire world resting over your shoulder. If something were to happen to Shadin because of these hazy thoughts, what would The Yayjuu and all the scared Ziamichi do? What would the entire Shadin Clone Unit do without their father? What would the entire globe do without the main thing powering The Yuudeshi Network? Rather he knew, liked it, or was aware of it, Shadin was one of the key parts in turning the tides of this war. If something were to happen to him, there's no telling what the consequences would be for others connected to him.
So, as a result, Shadin knew what he had to do for the sake of protecting his family, his friends, the very city he calls home and the planet which it resides on. To fight for his way of life, was a battle worth going to war over. The many challenges it put in place on the front lines of combat, the walls of confinement crashing down mentally, the hopeless path it put emotionally and the scars of the past would all be things Shadin would have to fight in order to do this. After all, there is gonna be a lot worse pain being a Semi-Immortal being. It's very well possible he may even see the end of this universe, or perhaps he'll very well save it from that end.
In any case, it was about time to get on with it. There was no more waiting to be done as Shadin braced himself for this visitation. However, before he could make another step, he realized another entity was currently within the store. Not sure who or why this unknown person was approaching, Shadin keep his guard up. After all, this was a store and there were customer other then himself that came by from time to time. Though, it did not hurt to be prepared for anything with the kind of status Shadin has. You could never be too careful in Shadin's mind when you are constantly being targeted.
Strangely, not a single armed person walked through this shabby doors. As in instead, a rather attractive looking woman showed her self in. Apparently, from what he heard, she was associated with Kisuke or knew him some form from the familiarity in her voice. Still unsure as to who she was and why she showed up out of the blue, Shadin would go on to use The Yuudeshi Network in order to put her through a massive database of people from Earth and the Soul Society. It would take a minute or so, but eventually he found a match.
This woman was, in fact, Selena Mino according to records put in by The Iramasha Clan. This woman seemed to be heavily connected with Ketsu and all of his children until she randomly disappeared one day last year, but that's all he was able to find. Nevertheless, that was more then enough to put his mind at ease. Shadin would still keep watch over her, but with this data he at least knew who she had been affiliated with. She was not another sicko trying to take a hit out on Shadin.
"You are excused..." Spoke Shadin directly towards Selena with a stern facial expression, seeming to be in a rather serious-minded state of being. "Do whatever you want. Me and him have business to take care of underground." Taking a glance to see what was going on outside, Shadin could very well notice the sky darkening; in sync with his blackened mood. It was the perfect backdrop for how he was feeling right now. "Just make sure if you see any kids running around up here, make sure to feed em'."
Taking a few steps past Selena, Shadin would then crouch down as he opened the floor and revealed two large metallic doors with The Yayjuu's symbol on them. Looking back at Selena, Shadin would then go on to give her a bit of advice. "I've also read the database on your file. Apparently you've been missing from Iramasha Island for quite some time..." Beginning to open the door via a authorization code thtough The Yuudeshi Network, Shadin would stand up for a bit in order to keep talking to Selena. "...I'd suggest you try to check in more. You never know what kind of trouble you can cause for those who called you family. I'm not quite sure what happened to you up there, but I can assure you that Koichi will eventually find you."
Looking back down at the doors below, Shadin could then here the patter of bare feet running around. He knew the time was approaching very soon. "Really, I've seen that kid running around this city with a strange girl. Eventually, you are gonna run into that crazy guy. I hope things turn out well for the both of you if that should happen." Turning his attention towards Kisuke, Shadin would then point his head in the direction of the large metallic doors that were opened. If he should follow, it would lead both of them directly into the nerve center of Karakura Central's defenses. The Yuudeshi Network.
"Kisuke, you coming?" Shadin asked, knowing The Clones were probably getting inpatient. "We're gonna have to move out whenever you are done up here..." Turning around and placing his foot on the edge of the entrance, Shadin would sigh a bit and prepare himself to enter the chambers of were his very own flesh and blood would await. The thousands of pieces of flesh that were copied from his own DNA. It was an odd sight to see for Shadin at some day's, but convinced himself it was for the better.
"...cause we gotta' check in on my family..."

Kisuke looked back to the entrance of his shop upon hearing a familiar voice speak to him. It was a woman who had been staying with him in the shop, Selena Mino. He smirked as she walked in and it was apparent that she didn't know who the 'guest' was. "Ah, Selena, your back." Kisuke nodded his head toward Shadin, and then looked back at his associate. "This is an old friend of mine, Shadin Yuudeshi. I believe he knows some of your acquaintances, Koichi and Ketsu." Kisuke heard Selena offer to watch over the shop while he and Shadin were off taking care of business. "Yes, please watch over the shop while we're gone. We have some important business to take care of."
Kisuke listened to Shadin speak to Selena, advising her to visit her former comrades more often, which was something Kisuke didn't entirely disagree with. However, she seemed like a smart woman. If there was a reason for why she was avoiding them, then it must have been good. However, he hadn't confronted her about it. It was none of his business, and he was sure she appreciated that he hadn't tried to pry. If she wanted to talk about it, she could confront him.
Shadin turned his attention to Kisuke and nodded toward metallic doors, which was were the two were headed. Kisuke grabbed his cane off the floor and walked to the door of his laboratory, and input a password on a touch panel next to the door. A locking mechanism could be heard activate, and the door had become masked as apart of the wall. When he was away from the shop, due to the nature of some of his experiments, he preferred to keep his lab under lockdown while he was away, even if someone was around to watch the shop. He liked how the human technology had advanced in the past 400 years, it impressed even him at times.
"Kisuke, you coming? We're gonna have to move out whenever you are done up here..." Kisuke nodded and walked toward Shadin. He could only assume he was both nervous, and excited at the same time to see his children. Kisuke wasn't even sure how he would feel about visiting clones of himself. He was sure it had to be a bit strange, but at the same time he could see how it makes Shadin happy to see them.

- Selena Mino - Angel of Death -
"Screw everything you believe and remake yourself over. It might hurt others but you can't do a thing about it. It is Fate... Mine is Death."

This didn't please her at all... The way this male spoke about herself, but it entrained her. Was that really all people knew these day about her? Nothing about her past that seems to be worthy? Her expression didn't really change at all while she leered towards the white haired male. He spoke of the Iramasha Island and how she was reported missing.. This came to her as no surprised, Koichi must of spoke about it his father. 'Why the hell should I go back? I was ignored of any desire where I am here, I am some sightly happier then there. I am just a beauty for a frame. They might consider me part of the family but they are not mine...' The feeling about it the family came out to her nature feeling. Ketsu made her only cause her a great amount of misery, and Koichi... The last time she remembered on was him standing there staring at her depressed and hurt. Her mother must had possessed her during that time one year ago. The female took a deep breath before walking away from the two men towards the backroom. ”I will do what I please... I will need to settle my dealings with Ketsu, and come back to watch the store Kisuke-san.” The woman spoke harshly, sliding up the door. Now she was no longer facing the two that expression went emotionless.”Have a good day.” Then female left the sight into the back rooms.
Selena made her way in her room... It was extremely plain expect for the six coffins made out the finest redwood. They were all fancy and polished Each of them with a number on them and stained color. Blue, Green, Red, Purple, black and silver... All places why the hell was going back to Ketsu, it was that urge of telling him straight; knowing him... She would be told off on how she belonged to him and his 'family.' but that cage was waiting with her name carved on it. Koichi would have questions of course; on why she left him. Mother didn't think that far on why on thinking but it was game on between Selena and Iramasha family. There was a good possibility that she was not coming back, and Kisuke should know that... Ketsu did... Her emotions began to effect her greatly, Her soft gloved hand covered her right eye thoughts were plaguing her mind. This was not going to end well. Selena was happy here with Kisuke and the brats, because she was able to do what she wanted to do; There Ketsu would not allow her to leave his sight again. "... I need a new body, he doesn't need to know about my demonic form or he could really trace me back to my family line..." Selena muttered softly; She laid down onto the cot and closed her amethyst eyes. Something happened.... Her aura, all of her energy death and demonic began to transfer only the one coffin the color silver smeared across it.... It was the very body that Koichi had seen....
The demon could transferred bodies....
The maiden awaken suddenly within the coffin, with a blossoming smile on her lips, but those eyes were now blue as the sky that she wanted to see. Her lust for blood began boil into her very veins it was perfect time to visit Ketsu despite the ghouls attempt to delivery the message. She would make it before him... A portal of the eyes opened inside the back of the coffin, the maiden twirled around with the fluffy white dress. It was time... Several portals cross the room, began to swallow up the object that belong to her. The dark coffin with one body Selena used didn't move along with her demon body. 'Might as well to get this over with... and surrender myself to him like before.' Hands grasped onto the her purple lacy umbrella, before disappearing into the portal... This was one thing she need to do... She didn't want to leave Ketsu awaiting her arrival, it was going to the last time... That the maiden would ever smile in happiness again if this goes as well as Selena thought.
