Elara is a talkative woman who would quite happily bend someone’s ear for as long as they want. She’s generally cheerful, humorous and confident in herself although she’s not beyond giving someone a clip around the back of the head if they sass her too much. While not overly violent, she’s not afraid in the slightest of a good fight and doesn’t back down if things turn hairy. Elara will give it everything she has and will keep getting up no matter how often someone knocks her down. She can be a tad patronising at times too and is prone to making rather sarcastic remarks if she finds herself facing someone with a ridiculous point of view, having little time for those who talk about crap like world domination and stuff like that. She lives in the real world, not a dream one.

While she’s still coming to terms with the extent of her powers, Elara has dedicated herself to discovering the secrets of them and trains diligently in order to reach greater heights. There’s not a day that goes by where she’s not pushing herself and laziness isn’t something that she tolerates too much. She’s out there working every day so why shouldn’t other people? That being said, she isn’t an antisocial workaholic either and knows when it’s time to kick back and have a little fun.



Growing up in Texas, Elara had a rather rough and ready childhood, especially since she was the youngest of six, being the only girl. That being said, her parents treated her exactly the same and she grew up well loved and happy. Her family wasn’t exactly rich but they made do with what they had, with all the Seraph children contributing as soon as they were old enough. Elara was no exception and from a young age, she noticed that she had a rather keen eye for detail when it came to vehicles. Her father was a mechanic and from the first time she saw him working on an engine, she was right there with him, badgering him non stop about how it all worked. Surprised but delighted, he’d answer every question and began teaching his daughter everything she knew.

Her childhood wasn’t honestly all that interesting for the most part and Elara developed into the talented mechanic that she’d wanted to become, being able to disassemble and reassemble an engine with her eyes closed. Her talents were enough to make her brothers jealous and sadly, she began to lose touch with them once they started to leave the nest, so to speak, wanting to head out on their own. Elara never went far though and worked her backside off to help her family pay the bills, which due to the nature of it, also helped her build a rather noticeable physique. Not only was she able to figure out the issue with a car or bike in minutes but as she aged, she was able to rather easily move them too, much to the bafflement of her father.

It was only when she reached her mid teens that she discovered the answer regarding her strength, as one day a rather well off male would visit the workshop, wanting some work done on one of his beloved cars. He noticed her straight away and from the moment she opened her mouth to talk to him, he was right in her face, close enough that Elara inadvertently pushed him back rather hard to defend her personal space. A formidable push which sent him up against the wall. Yet rather than shout at her, he’d simply smile and begin to explain himself, opening her mind to possibilities that she’d never imagined.

He was a Quincy and after examining her spiritual pressure, came to the conclusion that she was too. She’d never thought much too much about life outside of her small community and here he was, telling her all about a new life that was open to her if she wanted it. It was baffling at first and Elara was uncertain as to what to do about it but after a conversation with her family, she decided to take the plunge and follow the man, who’d agreed to give her instruction when it came to her powers.

The training was rough and Elara generally thought she was going to hit the dirt plenty of times during it, being pushed to the limits on a regular basis and yet, she never stayed down and simply got back to her feet and persevered. It was no different then repairing a battered old car, it just needed some hard work and a little elbow grease. Her attitude was what got her through it all and slowly but surely, she began to get to grips with her new powers, coming to enjoy the hard graft and difficult training. Never had she thought that she was anything other than a normal person and yet, that wasn’t the truth at all.

By the time her training was done, Elara was eighteen and ready to try out her abilities in the real world, her mind and body prepared for the journey she would take. Her teacher had told her that there was only so much that he could teach and in order for her to grow further, she’d have to go out and discover it for herself. He’d done more than enough for her though and after a friendly and cheerful goodbye, they’d part as allies. Yet, despite all of his wise words, Elara kept her feet on the ground, focusing on what was most important to her rather than becoming too involved and bogged down with the politics. The dark haired woman appreciated the lessons but not so much the end of the universe lectures.

It was then that she finally left home, following her brothers into the wider world and ready to begin her journey as a Quincy. There would be laughs, tears and everything in between but Elara wasn’t afraid of that, a spring in her step, a smile on her face and a trusty wrench in her back pocket, just in case.


○ Ginto: Elara keeps at least a dozen Ginto with her at all times in case she needs to quickly cast a spell.



○ Strong Willed: Elara isn't one to back down and despite the difficulty of her training, she never gave up and continued until she passed her teacher's tests.


○ Blut: Elara is competent with Blut and is able to use both the offensive and defensive versions, however, she's unable to switch between them all that quickly and she still has work to do in order to achieve that.

○ Steigen: Elara is solid with Steigen and can move around without hurting herself although she's yet to develop any truly special techniques. She can use it in combat but won't be showing off anything amazing just yet.

○ Gebet: Elara is fairly skilled with Gebet and has reached the level where she can use Vollstandig but at this time, that's the limit of what she can do.

○ Kruezen: Elara is good enough with Kruezen to create her bow and use its various techniques well but she has further work to do in order to fully master it. At this stage, she's yet to form a secondary weapon although she is trying.

○ Abilities:

Charge: A passive ability whereby every bolt that is fired from Elara's bow is coated in electricity. On contact with an opponent, it will discharge said energy, slowing the opponent by 10% for a duration of 3 posts. This effect stacks up to a maximum of 30%.

Taser: Elara unleashes a powerful bolt that shocks and causes painful muscle spasms to the first opponent that it strikes for a single post.

Suppressive Fire: Elara fires a barrage of bolts that pepper the area in front of her in a cone shape, causing the area to become overcharged with electricity and causing all opponents caught in it to experience painful muscle spasms for a post. Due to the amount of bolts fired, Elara is unable to use the ability again for three posts after it's used.


○ Vollstandig Name: Lightning Queen

○ Vollstandig Abilities:

Electric Discharge: Channeling the power of her Vollstandig, Elara unleashes a blast from her bow that travels forwards. Once it hits either a target or terrain, it will explode, causing painful muscle spasms to all opponents for a post who are caught in the blast. The radius of the attack is 50M.

Electric Storm: Raising a hand to the sky, Elara fires a bolt of lightning from her fingertips which soon enough will descend upon an area of her choosing, unleashing a barrage of smaller bolts which pepper the area, dealing damage to all those who can't get out of the way. The radius of this ability scales with her soul and she must wait for three posts before she can cast it again.

Electric Judgement: Summoning all of the power that her released form grants her, Elara creates a gigantic bolt of electricity and unleashes it in one massive attack. The bolt explodes on impact and its power is increased by 100% due to the charged up energy. She can only use this once per release and once she does, her Vollstandig will deactivate. She can reuse her Vollstandig in the same thread but must wait 3 posts before she is able to do so after using this technique.
