Soul Society Arc [Name subject to change]

The Soul Society has suffered heavy losses at the actions of a unified group of arrancar. Hundreds to thousands of souls are victims of this attack, shinigami and otherwise. Urahara Kisuke reveals himself a traitor among the Gotei United and allies with Ichigo Kurosaki in his quest for the Rings of the Dead, seizing the two that were in the Gotei United's possession in his actions.

The Captain-Commander is missing-in-action, the captain of the third division is a turncoat, the captain of the sixth division is reported KIA, and the captain of the eighth division has suffered grievous injuries and is on the precipice of death.

With fractured leadership and without the Senkaimon to travel between the realms, the Gotei United and the Soul Society finds itself in a precarious position.



Night of Farewells
The Captain of the Third Division, Kisuke Urahara, summons the Captain-Commander for a report on the mysterious Rings of the Dead in their possession. It is here that Urahara reveals himself as a traitor to the Gotei and traps the Captain-Commander in the Dangai before proceeding to assist a group of hollows to attack the Seireitei.

Center of Attraction
Ichigo Kurosaki breaks through the weakened barrier from Urahara's actions on the other side allowing the group of hollows to begin their invasion. No sooner than he opens their pathway does Ichigo proceed to destroy the senkaimon and prevent reinforcements from the living world.

As there was a lot of threads in the month that the initial event happened, please allow time for this section to be filled out.


Due to the last site event not having a time skip, We will allow a period of a month for the immediate aftermath of the invasion. After that month there will be a few months of IC time pass.

This OOC time is aimed at giving people opportunity to consolidate reactions and to decide their paths forward. Essentially this interlude lays the ground work for people to establish what their characters will be doing of the course of those few months which allows for training, preparations for in-character goals, or whatnot.


As this will be the first site plot that is focused to a specific realm, people are encouraged to make Arc Characters. Especially if they do not play a character in or with means to interact with the site plot in Soul Society.

For the moment there is no specific requirements, this section will be updated after the aftermath interlude as people provide narratives to the premise.


We learned a lot from the previous arc in terms of this system and aim to utilise that information to sure up those discrepancies. This arc will function very different to Africatastrophe however and that is due to the fact that this site arc is a premise more than a plotline. Africatastrophe had the benefit of just doing waves of kaiju before it resolved but this site arc has no planned storyline which puts the pressure on characters to push their own narratives and agenda with the plot being a conflict or cooperation of those narratives.

With the massive success that was the initial event that kickstarted it, we would also like to keep the pace if possible. It does not need to be as fast as the event took place but one of the issues we observed with Africastrophe was pacing. We aim to find a better balance of this going forward with this arc.

This will also be the first time a time skip is utilised, so please bear with us. The aim is for this tool to be positive by allowing things to feel more organic than so much happening over the span of a few days or weeks in-character.

People who are not in Soul Society are still encouraged to do their plots, narratives, and develop their characters. We'll need another premise after this site arc after all and depending on how the premise develops, it is still possible for these characters to interact with Soul Society.
