Reluctant Encounters [Junichiro, Shura, Tento]

Tento stood within the corridors of 4th division. A stack of papers completed, outlined, filed, and sorted on his desk as he exited his room. That mission report was done, and the evaluation requests for the foot soldiers of the division was done. Many had gotten good experience from the Africantropshe, at least, the ones that survived. Alas it seemed there was only a marginal growth paper wise. Time would tell if their wounds would matter to any growth that would help in the end. With a sigh he looked up at the still sky. Clouds hanging in a still piece with calm winds. His blade gives a soft carousel to his spirit.

What would be his task as 5th seat today? More meetings? More paperwork. Or maybe he would be asked to set up another training section? Who knows, maybe he would have a free day and could go visit some of the divisions. It had been some time since he had talked to a few people, he hoped they were well. Given how things went in Africa, there was no wonder of an answer to that.

Calm and relaxing as he watched the clouds go by. Tento was quite content as he heard the 4th buzz about with its normal sounds. A few heavy grunts from spars, a few heavy breaths from physical training, and a little bit of soft banter as well as chit chat. He closed his eyes and took it in. Many saw them as just brutes. Killers and soldiers that lived on the edge of the line of duty or outlaws. But they were more than that and not as bad as the prejudice assumed. They were Gotei. Doing what the Gotei organization asked of them, to be ready to fight. A smile forming before he opened them and walked with a soft smirk to the side.

With a tilt of his head he smelt a soft intrusion in the barracks. A perfumed smell, it was soft and nice. Soothing in femininity. A nice perfume on any woman. This was a new smell for him, did one of the ladies in the division change something up? Walking out of the corridor he was in towards the barrack entrance tracking the growing smell, Tento felt a familiar presence, Shura. For half a second he wounderd if that wonderful smell came from her, it kinda seemed it was in her direction and she was the only one he saw. He was about to open that big mouth of his and give a teasing compliment statement to see before he stopped. She was not one he would really describe as the still type. But here she was, back against the wall eyes closeds with her hands folded together. It was easy for him to see that she was in a meditative thought. He decided to respect his friend and superior’s time and not bother her, this time. With a passing nod despite her not being able to see. Tento went past her before he saw someone push open the door to the barracks entrance way.

A person, could not tell who with all of that get up on. Was that an attempt of a hazmat suit? Looking around scanning as if they were lost or looking for someone inspecific. Lost medic? New person? Germaphobe?? It seemed that they spoke but no one responded. Ah! Supplies for the division. Walking over, Tento gave a friendly smile and nod of his head before extending his hands out to take the crate. Lifting it onto his left shoulder with ease before looking down. “I’ll take that from ya. Thank you for delivering them”.

Crate in hand, erm, on shoulder. And a soft smile smirk on his face. Before quite a loud CUTE sneeze exploded out from behind him. He spun on his ear blinking his eyes at the quite loud and strange sound he heard just to see Shura shaking her head and rubbing her nose. So much for tranquil meditation…“I think it smells-OOF”, he sounded a little surprised by the sudden shove of the item. Tento gave a slight sigh before giving a look to both Shura and Junichiro. A come on dont put me in the extra crap, look. “Who are you and why do you know my name? Actually, scratch that, dont answer the second part”, Tento said, moving to put the crate down in a corner. Rumors of him were enough, let's just chalk it up to being a seated officer.

Internally he gave a smirk, this guy was not a member of the 4th but he was quite ready to smack talk Shura. The question was if she earned it yet and if things were growing. “Offense taken. I know I am a big guy, and you had a bit of spunk created courtesy of our fire lord over there. But don't. Shove things into my chest. That is rude”. Tento said in a kind yet somehow stern heavy voice. With a slight tick of his eyebrow, a soft shift behind the mask at the sign of a smile behind that mask. Why the…did this guy do it on purpose?? An eye squint and head tilt too? Well, so much for 1st impressions…
