FORTUNE FAVORS THE BOLD
MASTER OF RESOURCES, MISTRESS OF FATE
This city has seen better days. Seeing some of the rough shape of the ciiziens that live in Mitaumi Harbor is a shame since this city used to be bustling and filled with so much promise in the mind of Rita. Now it lays in a depressive funk and seems ripe for Gracen Arms to recruit and bring people into it's fold given the miserable economy around here. Spending the day interviewing people, in meetings, sight-seeing; it was a collection of ho'hum events that made the woman eventually need a break as she sat on a bench outside of one of the recruitment facilities she was renting out until Gracen Arms left this city.
With a soft sigh, Rita pulled out a chocolate peanut butter almond bar and a cup of coffee, hoping the snack would give her the pick-me-up she needed. Despite the busy day, her mind wandered to more personal matters. Relationships. It was hard to ignore the nagging thought that her clock might be ticking. Was she getting too old for love? She wasn’t sure if her supernatural abilities would preserve her figure and health forever, and the uncertainty gnawed at her.
Furrowing her brows, she needed something to remain in the present and just aggressively guzzled down her snacks and drinks before letting her shoulders relax and she gazed at the afternoon sun.
"Hmmmmmm....I need a distraction."
Her voice was soft, almost wistful, as she wondered what could pull her out of the funk and bring her back to her usual, sharp self.
