An Empty Street After the Parade Has Gone [Vicente/Sabriel] [Open to 2]

So this was the world of which those vermin resided. The birthplace of all the swords and shihakusho he had plucked from their corpses. Fascinating. As he fell from the Garganta, each of his eyes seemed to observe something different as they darted around in the sockets, looking around as he made his way to a more isolated area of the Seireitei, making no attempt to soften his descent as he crashed into the ground, creating a sizeable crater, sending a small amount of Shinigami flying from the resulting shockwave.

A hissing exhale came from him as he rose to full height, a hand reaching for the bone-white, eye-laden sword at his side, the grind of his sword against its scabbard echoing in the quiet as it slithered free. Wires sharp as any sword-steel crept from under the nails of his other hand, glimmering in the setting sun as he wasted little time in sending them out with flicks of his wrist, coating them in flecks of scarlet and sending various limbs and parts scattering along the ground as he walked forward, unimpeded.

He remembered a time when he fought these creatures to a standstill, yet now, he was able to butcher these lambs. Yet, though there were many of these lost sheep, he could sense the infuriating power that lingered all around this realm. The shepherd would assuredly come to save them from the wolves, after all.

One might wonder just what she, of all Arrancar, was doing taking part in such an endeavour and it was indeed a question that Sabriel had asked herself more than once. A creature of lust, desire, control, one who would rather have intercourse with an enemy than kill them. Yet, there was something in the back of her mind that had compelled her to come. A desire that she wished to fulfil, not only for herself but for Akira, the man who had brought her into this plot to begin with. There was a bond of friendship between them, strong and ironclad, which was enough to draw her onto the fields of battle.

She appeared from her Garganta shortly after Vicente, just in time to see him eliminate a fair number of Shinigami with what seemed to be a wave of his hand. He appeared to be rather formidable and the dark haired woman considered herself fortunate that she was not in his crosshairs today. There was a slight issue though with his rather final approach to dealing with those he faced and so Sabriel would make certain that she landed a short distance away. She required live foes in order to make the most of her abilities.

A small group of Shinigami would be alerted towards her arrival, charging towards the purple eyed woman with their blades drawn. She felt no fear though and instead simply opened her mouth, before singing a captivating song that would travel through the air, capturing those without the will to fight her off. They would helplessly struggle against her control but one after another, they would fall under her spell, their expressions turning completely blank.

Approaching the group, she would instil a single worded order, one that they were unable to resist.

“Kill.” Her tone was so gentle, little above a whisper and yet it managed to reach every single one.

In a flurry of bloody madness, the Shinigami would turn on one another, slaughtering each other without remorse or frankly any idea of what they were doing. All the while, Sabriel would simply walk through the chaos, unharmed and uncaring, a small smile crossing her face as she left them to it.

Shit was fucked, everything was burning, and Murasaki was nowhere to be seen. It made him furious that this would be happening and so the battlefield was going to be the place where he released all that rage. He ran through over the rooftops with shunpo, seeking out the enemies that were invading Soul Society. Each one he came across was being felled by his nodachi.

"World to Cinders, Shōkyakutenri!"

Alastor shouted as two powerful foes came into sight and he dived from the rooftops towards the ground. The sword changing into a greatsword and allowing him to launch a wave of fire towards the duo as he meant to incinerate them without question.

"Listen here, you fuckin' mutts. You're toast."

He spat at the two of them while waiting for the flames he swung at them to die down. The temperature in the immediate area was already rising and parts caught fire. In time, his zanpakuto would turn this entire area into a raging inferno to match the turbulent rage he felt inside.

An army of Shin'ō Academy students fled to designated areas, escorted by their more capable professors. In Morikawa MIka's eyes they were all best kept away from the fighting where they would just get in the way, faculty included. She knew she was better, more talented than any of them. She needed to be fighting on the front lines with the Gotei Thirteen. That's where someone of her ability belonged.

Right?

As she sprinted through the Seireitei's streets, her fingers bone-white from gripping her Asauchi too tightly, Mika's head felt ready to explode. Sure she had killed a Hollow before on a class trip, but this was different, this was war and it was on their home turf. Besides that terrifying reality, the many overwhelming Spiritual Pressures intermingling across the Seireitei was sending chills down her spine. Some were colossal, bigger than she even thought possible, but there were many that even seemed to be on her big sister's level. When had she felt fear, real, visceral fear before today?

Needing to get a grip, Mika ducked into an alley and fell against a cold stone wall that towered over her. She fought to catch her breath which had become sparse from sprinting through the city. Get up! Come on, Mika! Having barely struggled for a thing in her life, this was a new experience...and not a pleasant one. But as she told herself, she dragged herself to her feet and kept sprinting down the street. A heat wave overcame her senses, causing her to look in the direction of its source: a lone man standing against a duo of what could only be Arrancar.

Mika would join the man in turning up the heat as she Flash Stepped to half a dozen feet to his left, raised her hands, and spoke "Hadō #31: Shakkahō!". A crimson sphere formed in front of her palms which erupted in a beam of fire that rushed through the air aimed for the woman Arrancar.

A sudden release of power, and Vicente turned his head upward, six eyes widened as he was suddenly consumed by a wave of fire. He had occasionally come across some of these vermin that had managed to awaken some kind of transformation through their swords, in a manner not unlike his own. How peculiar. But, with his clothes and body reinforced with Hierro, those six eyes glimmered from the blaze as he walked forward, the design of a spider-web fading as he stepped out.

Hierro-infused threads were called back to his hand as he readied his sword, uncaring of the rising temperature. Two more pairs of arms suddenly ejected from his sides, drawing a sword from the five remaining around his waist. With a brief burst of speed, Vicente surged forward to bring all six crashing down to Alastor. He didn't feel a need to respond to an insect's pitiful jabs, all he was here for was to test himself, to see the world of the Shinigami, and, in Akira's words, to have fun.

Taking one look at the wave of fire heading towards them, Sabriel decided to use her Sonido in order to evade the attack rather than take it full on, just about managing to avoid damage. She was certainly thankful that she had finally started to hone her skills in that area and appreciated Veralia’s training. The heat was immense though and there was no doubt about the strength that the Shinigami wielded. He was going to be a pain to deal with and what was more, it seemed that he was rather lacking in charm too. How unfortunate.

The decision of whether to counter attack immediately was taken from her though, as his partner for the fight chose that moment to hurl a Kido spell at her, a fireball that came whizzing towards her at some speed. She could have evaded again but on this occasion, believed that she could fight fire with fire, so to speak and so she raised a hand in the direction of the fireball.

“Cero Lujuria.”

A purple coloured beam of energy would come forth, soaring towards the Hadō and resulting in quite the impact when the two abilities met. She was rather curious to discover the strength of the young female before her although rather than attack straight away afterwards, she would instead speak, toying with her opponent, while drawing her Zanpakuto at the same time. A quite menacing whip that she cracked menacingly.

“Such a sweetheart. What other tricks do you have up your sleeve?”

"God you look ugly."

He commented to the six-eyed freak of a guy in front of him that only became more nasty when extra arms started coming out of him. Whatever, just more pieces to cut off this guy. So as all six swords came down, he built up an underarm swing that tore through the ground below him to throw a wall of force, fire, and stone at his attacker.

The redhead had a helper but something seemed a bit off about her. She didn't come off like she was a strong contender. He was all for duty and doing ya part but his brows furrowed as he wondered if she had the steel to back up her stones in facing the arrancar. Best keep one eye on those two and one on the freak with a handful more to spare on him.

Guy must seriously never lose a staring contest.

A lot happened all at once, more than Mika had ever dealt with in a fight. Then again, she had never faced down an Arrancar before, let alone two. Her spell was dealt with by a Hollow energy blast, forcing Mika to shield her face from the resulting explosion's wind pressure, and the much creepier Arrancar assaulted the Shinigami next to her. A second later she saw the woman crack an intimidating looking whip, and Mika realized the fight could easily become two sets of one versus one battles, where she would likely be forced to deal with her alone.

Not likely!

The diminutive Mika assessed the situation and quickly made a plan then set it in motion. Pivoting in place, she took off in a sprint behind her ally, positioning so that Alastor was between herself and both Arrancar. She kept going however, with no plans to hide behind him; instead, he was meant to serve as a momentary wall between herself and the woman Arrancar, just for long enough for her to say aloud "Bakudō #4: Hainawa!", causing a glowing yellow rope to extend from her hands and wrap around Vicente's feet. Then Mika PULLED with all the strength she could muster to sweep his feet out from underneath him, and yoink him to the ground.

As the sudden wave of fire and rubble came toward him, Vicente would make quick work of the inconvenience by continuing the downward momentum from his swords, easily reducing the rubble to mere pebbles in a simple, six-layered slash. Even as the flames engulfed him, he didn't bother try and reposition or dodge, the spider web design appearing once again, turning bright red as it was introduced to the flames.

The heat was beginning to pose a problem, especially since it was continuing to rise. One of Vicente's eyes darted around in the socket, noticing the air warping around them from the rising temperature. How peculiar. His first thought was that the temperature would simply continue rising until either his own limits were reached, or, potentially, until Vicente boiled from the inside.

He would just have to eviscerate the insect before it came to that. Right as Vicente went to bring down the swords again, his eyes widened as he felt his legs suddenly be yanked out from under him, causing him to fall to the ground, face-first. With a brief exertion of force, Vicente's legs forcibly pushed outward, tearing the rope around his legs as his arms dug their held swords into the ground and pushed himself back up.

Regardless if the more enticing of the two would attack, Vicente had full confidence in the strength of his Hierro as his head would suddenly turn toward the offending, lesser Shinigami with a sickening crack, all six eyes glaring at her with unbelievable contempt. His jaws parted, energy gathering between the sharp rows of teeth before unleashing a silver-colored Cero, its energy compressed, refined, and hardened akin to the process of Hierro to act as a long-range battering ram, intent on crashing into the girl and sending her into a building.

In all honesty, Sabriel was slightly bemused by the actions of the petite Shinigami, who had run off after just one exchange of attacks in order to attack Vicente alongside her partner. Did the child honestly just leave the Arrancar to her own devices in the middle of a fight? It seemed a rather unwise and borderline disrespectful act, enough that even the dark haired woman felt just a touch of irritation at being thought of as someone who could be comfortably ignored. Sabriel had her pride and while she was not quite as powerful as her companion, she was certainly not weak.

In order to hopefully relieve some of the pressure that Vicente was facing, Sabriel would use Sonido in order to move herself into range of the male Shinigami, where she attempted to strike at him with her whip, attempting to at least give him something to think about. The heat he was creating was intense and the lavender eyed woman was under no doubt that he was a formidable foe but that would not deter her. She had been sitting in the shadows for too long and it was about time that Sabriel got her hands dirty.
