Cat's Got Your Path [Komugi, Yuujin]

For what she's heard of, the streets were way too peaceful under the cover of darkness... It was her first actual roam through the Seireitei since the chasm incident swallowed up a lot of her time, having some time before her later duties which she didn't particularly look forward to - paperwork was always a slog to complete and she was always the one left with a bulk of more tedious ones as the morning crew already got their share finished up; her and her crew were here to pick up slack at the end of the day after all. Whatever, it paid well.

What ISN'T paying well, is this quiet street. She'd caught wind of a bombing and even a murder, yet the streets didn't feel sketched out. Nara-san taught her to watch the street carefully from a young age, as that was the primary way to avoid getting into a bad situation, especially if a crime had occurred recently. Maybe she just wouldn't see anything tonight, oh well. Least she has takoyaki to eat, having taken a moment to lean against a building and savor the snack.

He finds himself especially sweaty and in need of rest, but he isn't in disrepair because of it. After his bout with Erika, he found himself inclined to actually participate with the Shinigami. She's right. Inspection without action will get him nowhere, so he should stop being coy and step up to the batting plate. That means a lot of headache and body ache, but he has yet to run into anything beyond what his Sensei had put him through. He should be careful though. The dark of night is no place for a man dressed in Noble clothing to be. He may be in the Seretei, which is safer than the Rukongai, but he's heard of the incidents that have occurred lately.

It'd be his luck to run into someone with ill mannerisms, and he probably stands out. He is a lone man whose expression usually boarders suspicious and conniving. It is not his fault he thinks a lot. One day he'll purchase better clothing.

Mrpmh, still nothing amiss... Sure it was against her better judgement and something she should leave to Sixth, but her sense of justice wanted a little bit of practice after so long. She hadn't taken care of any incidents on home turf in like, ever! Well, at least she should find someone to actually chat up about what might be happening... Wait was that a noble? What was he doing out so late on his own? A steady stride got her over to him, having smuggled the takoyaki-less skewer away into her uniform - it'd be improper to litter after all.

"Scuse me!" She'd call after the young man, and upon approach she'd give a polite bow - ugh how were you supposed to compose yourself around nobles again? She could never get used to it, but she had to if her family was gonna live here...

"Yadou Komugi of First Division, at your acquaintance," She'd speak quickly and definitively, "Hope your evening's well, what has you out n' about so early- well, I mean late!"

He looked to the voice, female, yes? However, his eyes blinked in bemusement as he was faced with a member of the beast clan. He must admit, he sees little of their kind out and about, even with their increased numbers in Soul Society. Maybe they prefer their solitude.

"Hello. Uh... No need to bow, miss," He'd mutter after she had gone through her everything to address him. He is a Noble, huh? He always forgets that fact.

"You share divisions with Miss Masamune? I must admit, I have never held a conversation with your kind before."

Already detracting from why she's even bothering him, Yuujin's mind ran with curiosities that he wondered if he's allowed to ask. The very notion of his thoughts left him a bit nervous, his eyes moving to the side as he tried better to ignore the nagging in the back of his mind. So much so, he pretty much forgot that he's talking to someone and simply stood there debating with himself.

"Oh, real sorry. Was just showin' respect, yannow?"

Alright, thank goodness - a noble kid with less rigidity and expectation. That made this easier...

...Kind?

She couldn't help but sour her expression a little. Ugh. Relax Komugi, as annoying as it was, it should be plenty expected at this point...

"Ohh, I didn't know you knew Vice Captain Masamune..." Despite her fouling mood, she tried to keep it cordial and just move past that little twinge of frustration in being so casually othered, "You guys friends or something?"

Silence, she was met with silence. Okay, she reconsidered her irritation with the swishing of a tail - maybe this guy was just weird. With a small huff, she'd wave a hand in front of his face, not so close it'd get into his personal space of course.

"Hiii? Still talking to you."
