Re: Moonlit Walk [Safira, Verdada]

SAFIRA | SEVEN HEADS
"Is that so? Very well, let me judge the merit to your words."
Her foreboding words were followed with her taking a step with sonido to close the distance, standing over Verdada so that one of the seven snake heads amongst her hair was close enough to stretch out and bite her on the side of her neck.
"I like when creatures can adapt and overcome, so I'll give you a reward and a trial. I possess the ability to brand others with a mark. I won't share or give you any more beyond this, however, take this principle and show me something interesting."
She explained to the scientist. Safira did consider an alternative to this by giving her the challenge of overcoming the mark so she could understand its limitations but this could be mutually beneficial. There were preparations she had to do and Safira could not spend too much time understanding the finest details of her powers when she had a job to do.

Verdada's eyes dilated, but her lids remained hooded as Safira's chest suddenly took up her field of view. Ah. She was much talle-ACK!
Her eyes jolted wide as those fangs punched into her throat as the creature struck. In that instant, she was ALMOST saved from the fate. By the sheer merrit that her flesh almost closed faster than those fangs could eject their payload into her open flesh. But as it were, the shock of foreign reiryoku pouring into her neck was enough to stun her slightly as she staggered back.
Take this Principle? Was the woman asking her to see what she could develop based on experiencing the technique? Helluva way to give her a test subject, studying the self was always a pain in the ass. But well... she'd have to work with it now woulnd't she? Reaching up to lightly run her fingers along the marks, ah, no blood. But a bit of spit from the viper was certainly there.
She glanced back up to Safira and offered a lopsided smile. "Don't think anyone's just offered their abilities for my research. But I won't look a gift horse in her scales. I'll see what I can do."

SAFIRA | SEVEN HEADS
This one had the wrong idea, this one's developments were her own developments. If she dissected the mark then Safira could use those findings in her own way as well. As the cracks were revealed they could be improved upon. As powerful as she now was, Safira did not pretend to assume this was the zenith of her progression. Far from it if she had her way.
"Consider it an exchange, I hope you show me something fascinating for what I have given you."
The snake head retracted to rejoin the others amongst her hair. This seemed to be an interesting walk one way or another, Safira would do the courtesy to finish the other woman's job in exchange as a series of sigils appeared over the scene of carnage before a barrage of green light rained down on the sands to scorch the sands. The odd piece of glass forming from the heat as the corpses and blood disappeared.
"I'll keep my eyes out for you. It won't be hard to find you with that mark."
