「CHECKING THIS SHIT OUT」 |
☓ | Yeah, I don't anyone has seen Ulqui in eons. Therefore, I am going to go ahead and place Kenpachi Zaraki under inactive canons. The last place this guy was seen was in Demonic Incursion getting flung out of the Seireitei by Nozomi. |

Consider this my statement of interest where re-claiming this guy is concerned. Since I've been out of the RP spotlight in this community for so long, I'll get to posting up a sample in a bit. Have a lot of characters to bring up to date, but I'm certainly still interested.

This post is a continuation of Zaraki's last post in the Demon Incursion thread: https://www.platinumhearts.net/t11796p10-stranger-at-the-door-operation-demonic-incursion
Chunks of wood and stone coated the enormous body of a man sticking halfway through a house's wall, a family of three looking in his direction with shock plastered across their faces. Though emergency alerts had been ringing all throughout Soul Society at this point, these people certainly didn't expect a man more infamous than even the Gotei's enemies to come crashing through their home. The grating sinister voice mumbling obscenities from within a cloud of dust made it easy to identify him as the one and only Zaraki Kenpachi, an ex-Captain usually described as killing intent personified. From his perspective the reason why he was here, over a kilometer away from the action, was he'd made a mistake. By leaving himself open he'd allowed himself to be sent flying by his opponent. Zaraki didn't care so much about having made the mistake, he was just annoyed by what it had resulted in.
Two opposing thoughts were currently running through his mind: First, he was excited by his enemy's incredible power; Second, his opponent was a bitch for removing him from the fight. Damn I was really starting to have fun. For a second he just stared up at the sky, temporarily lamenting the fact his battle had been cut short. This moment too was interrupted as the man of the household he'd crashed into began speaking before immediately being cut off by the legendary Shinigami, who began looking around and apparently ignoring the words which escaped nervously from his lips. Following this he stood up and hopped through the hole in a wall his collision had created, not bothering to dust himself off. Strangely enough despite the very clear trajectory through buildings he'd taken to get here, Zaraki ran off in the opposite direction.
For almost twenty minutes Zaraki ran in a straight line from his landing position, almost entirely opposite from where he wanted to go. His route led him even farther away from his fight, a reality still unknown to the eyepatch-wearing Shinigami. It wasn't until another Gotei member ran by him going in a different direction did Zaraki reassess the path he'd chosen to take. "Are you running away?!" Taken by surprise the lower seated man turned and responded with fear in his voice. "Oh! S-sir! No sir, I'm going to help fight off the demons attacking this way!" Zaraki ran ahead of the soldier, not waiting for him to keep up. By this point the fighting had already been going on for quite some time so any minute wasted was time that could be spent looking for a worthy enemy to kill. The incredible strength of Zaraki's legs kept him moving extremely quickly through the Rukongai's streets as nearby civilians breathed sighs of relief in knowing he was in the fight.
With a better idea of where to go he didn't let anything slow him down, including random demon soldiers rampaging throughout the districts of Seireitei's outskirts. Not even bothering to look twice at the various attackers Zaraki would cut through them like a hot knife through butter, carving a bloody path to get to stronger enemies. Even the commander and elite demons leading entire platoons of soldiers didn't stand a chance against the beast of Soul Society, barely registering on his radar before being slaughtered where they stood. Upon meeting a particularly large group of demon warriors, who had gathered to hunt down Shinigami, Zaraki shouted out as he tore through the rows of enemies. "Out of my way!" A single downward swing of his cracked and chipped Zanpakuto brought ruin to the entire regiment of invaders, the force of his attack so high gusts of wind sent any remaining foes flying through the sky before falling to their death.
Wanting a better vantage point as he ran Zaraki pushed off the ground and leapt close to twenty meters into the air before resuming his sprint atop the roofs of buildings. From here Zaraki could see destruction wrought by the invaders in every direction, though there was a distinct lack of combatants around him. For just a second Zaraki was annoyed by the potentiality of battle already winding down, the worst possible scenario for a man who's only real wish was fighting powerful warriors and reveling in glorious bloodstained battle. By the time he reached the largest nearby battlefield the only people standing were Fourth Division healers running to and fro trying to find and help as many survivors as possible. Somehow in a direct invasion into Soul Society, he was the only one unscathed. This well and truly pissed Zaraki off. A few seconds later the emergency alert sounds died down, indicating all serious fighting was over and all that was left was mopping up the random fodder still in Soul Society, a directive Zaraki was keen on ignoring. "Tsk. Didn't even get to see what she could do." Figuring he couldn't help out with the after effects of the invasion, and more importantly not wanting to, Zaraki spent the next hour and a half trying to find his way back to the old Eleventh Division barracks to take his afternoon nap. Battle had come and gone, leaving Zaraki Kenpachi feeling nothing but disappointment. Next time things would be different.

[adm]I think you'd play a good Kenpachi. This sample was good, aside from some minor points that didn't really make sense in PH's timeline, but still. You can go ahead and RP him, while I highly suggest that you revamp the app to fit 2017 standards.[/adm]
