Eugh, A Spider-Bug [Liltotto, Srath]

Bleh, she hated humidity. Though she didn't get tired from it, it still sucked quite a bit to be so sweaty. Jacket tied around her waist, the soldier was watching over some city down in South America - her first deployment in a hot moment. Completely better, there was no point in being a city-lurking louse, was time to get back to earning her keep.
There were some reports of hollow activity, but nothing confirmed - her opinion? This region in general seemed to have more hollow scent than normal, the acrid sting in her nose told her as much. It wasn't like it was a massacre, but, it did make her a bit worried for what was to come - there was plenty of people just trying to survive.
Marching amongst thick foliage and trees that touched the heavens, she was on an active search for a potential threat.

Srath busied herself as she tore the skin from one of the lesser hollows she had captured, deep in some forest on earth. She wasn't particularly worried about where on earth it was, merely that it had provided a significant amount of hollows for her to experiment with. Currently she was working on finding ways to increase the efficiency of spiritual power uptake through consumption, and she was curious as to if by removing the protective outer layer of a hollow and dipping them into the liquified remains of souls they might take up the spiritual power more directly through absorption. Perhaps not the most sophisticated theory but...well at least it was entertaining to test.
She was drawn from her ministrations by growing presence of a...quincy? She found herself frowning behind her mask, Quincy were always trouble, even if they were far more delicious than most other souls the fact that they destroyed souls entirely was...problematic. And unlike with the Shinigami she was a bit less willing to draw the attention of the potential backup the Quincy might have, but at the same time, if she could perhaps procure some of it's blood or some other spiritually rich material from them, maybe it could be useful in her experiments?
It took a moment for Srath to make a decision, but in the end she did, in fact, decide. She would attempt to lure the Quincy closer, into the area she'd been working in over the past week where she'd, somewhat sparsely, strung her webbing. Nothing explosive, not in the living realm where it would draw too much attention. Just some normal, if steel-like, webbing and a few garganta traps meant to confuse and disorient. With her decision made she carelessly snapped the neck of the hollow she'd been flaying and consumed it, before flaring her own reiatsu in an attempt to draw the Quincy closer.

Yep, that was recent hollow scent alright. The sting on her sense of smell was abnormally strong; it only burned at her sinuses this much if there was a bunch of hollows around, but there wasn't any reports or physical evidence of that being so...
Definitely a Menos.
That was a bigger problem than she originally thought this to be. Well, if it was a Gillian she likely would've spotted it by now, those things were too lumbering and animal-brained to be sneaky, and the Living Realm didnt have much in the way of sustenance at that stage...
"Figured you out..." A mutter to herself as she came hot on the trail, following it to it's strongest source.
The soldier stopped hard in her tracks as the gleam of a translucent wire caught her eyes. A brief focus gave way to a whole networking going on in front of her; definitely not normal, definitely made by a hollow.
And by the sudden influx of spiritual pressure... She was being watched, and taunted. The Sternritter had little interest in playing this thing's game.
A palm outstretched, a sudden influx of energy would lay itself bare from her, a shuddering ball of darkness forming in her palm, it's center growing in brightness until it was nearly blinding, though its mass didn't grow until the raised hand pointed to the terrain before her.
If an Adjuchas was lurking there, she shouldn't be worried about killing anybody.
"Zerstörungsblitz," The calm utterance of it's name would bring upon it's destructive power. A sudden flash of brilliant light would part way to a violent crashing nkise that vibrated the foliage, shortly before a Cero-like beam cut through the hollow's little attempt at a trap, and in the direction of the hollow themselves - carving clean through and disintergrating anything in it's path.

Srath felt the building pressure and didn't hesitate, diving and leaping away from her position to avoid the incoming attack. She didn't know what it was, but she wasn't stupid enough to think she wasn't in range of it. And given the size of the beam that cracked through the forest just behind her she had made the correct choice.
This was going to be difficult.
After the beam carved it's way through the forest, wiping out her temporary nest to her annoyance, she walked sedately into the passage it had created, and yelled out to the Quincy, "Well well, a Quincy fighting like a hollow? How...trite. Unfortunately for you, your nature means you'll be eternally stuck as the lesser species."
With that Srath would make a sweeping gesture and launch a wave of bala towards her target just before jumping back into the forest and using it as cover to start moving towards the Quincy.

Yep, that was an Adjuchas alright, watching that figure come out into the open of the clean-shaven path gouged through what was once a dense spread of trees. Her lips parted to give her typical courtesy call to the troublemakers to just run home and she wouldn't fight them, but between the rude comment and the following attack, her patience was brought thin. A blur of speed, she had smoothly avoided the attack, drug her hand against the ground as she approached to set her own series of unseen traps in the dirt of her wake, and formed a glowing two-handed sword with little sweat; she would need a bigger blade for a job like this, her go-to wasn't gonna cut it.
"Y'know, I was gonna be nice, but i'm gonna have to send you home missing limbs." She would call out to the hollow, pinpointing her location and suddenly appearing behind the beast with startling accuracy, swinging her blade for one of her leg's joints, "Peekaboo."
