Of course! He got them so easily! Violet wasn’t good at much and this was proving to be one of those things. Even though her last two did hit, she just let out a sigh and was going to look for the next game to try, but Solomon brought her attention back. She looked up to the plethora of prizes, then back to him. “Are you sure? You won it fair and square?” When he confirmed it was her choice, she searched through ones that that caught her eye. There were two: one she could have sworn was her aunt, the other Solomon. Well, this was certainly a choice.

That one looks like Aunt Natasha… I don’t want to lie to him if he asks about why I chose it, so maybe something else… And that one looks like…

Violet’s cheeks went red as she stared at the one that looked like Solomon. Was that weird? How could she play this off so he wouldn't get suspicious...? Violet pointed to the one that looked like him and the man that ran the game handed it to her. Violet held it up next to her face and gave a creepy, but intentionally silly smirk.

"This one looks like you; I'll take him home for target practice." Violet said, even talking in a strange, clown-ish voice to play up the joke she was trying to make. She giggled and hugged the plushie. "Hey, wanna try a ride next? Or another game?"

SOLOMON RICHTER

"H-huh? You..."

Of all the choices Solomon thought he expected, the selection of the plushie version of him decidedly threw him for a loop. A firm shade of red set in against his features as he turned his head to the side. Playing off his flustered expression, Solomon shook his head. Of course she wanted to use him for target practice. For a moment, he wondered what he might have picked if he were to choose a prize.

He held a great deal of respect and admiration for his respective members, but the idea of collecting any memorabilia based on their likeness felt odd. Directing his gaze between various locations amidst the hustle and bustle of the fair, his eyes singled out a ride. A timeless carousel stood out to him the most - the merry-go round. It was such a childish ride, but he felt like indulging that side of him for once, and perhaps Violet did as well.

"What about the merry-go round?"

"Sure. I've never been on one before, so what do you do..." Violet said, watching the current riders go around and around. It didn't seem like the most exciting ride, but the lights and fake horses were cute. It felt more like a ride to take pictures and relax on. Well, that was until she realized that most riders were children with parents standing next to them. "Aww, it's for kids, ain't it? Let's do it."

Even if Violet played it off like she chose her prize for target practice, her actions as they were making their way to the carousel proved differently. As they moved in line, Violet mindlessly held onto the plushie as if she were giving it a hug. Soon, it was their turn to go on. Stepping up onto the strange platform was a little jarring. There was something unreal about it all. She found her chosen mount: a fucking PANDA. She slid on and grabbed the leather strip, unsure what it was for.

"Huh. They give us reins. Funny. I thought you hold onto the pole..."

SOLOMON RICHTER

"It's always nice to indulge in something childish every now and then, no? Let's give it a shot."

Solomon naturally chose the mount he was most familiar with - a horse. He was positioned a few meters ahead of Violet, cocking his head back with a grin. Slowly but surely, he could tell that her mood was gradually shifting from frustration to relaxation. When the carousel began its revolution, Solomon chuckled as he adapted to the high pace and the bright lights. The laughter of several children and the few adults was a welcome reprieve from the energy that occupied their spirits earlier.

He was no master, and he felt it foolish to consider him a proper teacher, but he knew that he would do his best to honor his word. Even if he failed, he would enlist the assistance of someone far more capable than he, and he would support her in whatever decision she ultimately found comfort in. For now, all that mattered was enjoying summer season and creating a pleasant memory to hold onto between the both of them. Everything else would surely fall in place with due time... he was certain of it.
