Old Enough To Talk [Inanna, Ninsianna]

Well, that was something. She listened to what her mum had to say and kept her mouth shut for the whole process but her expressions were very telling of how she felt about it. Uncomfortable, grossed out, disbelief on the matter. She asked a couple of questions of her own for little details but by the end of it she looked away and wrinkled her nose up.

"Ewwwwwww. That's gross."

Also no way did she come out of there. She was far too big and her mum was far too small for that to be believeable. She'd seen a baby before and it would be like so uncomfortable if that was in your tummy.

Inanna's response was so earnest that Ninsianna could only find it endearing, and so she simply smiled at the idea, even laughing quietly.

"Yes, I do suppose it can certainly seem off-putting. But it is a wholly natural experience, and one that often comes in time alongside attraction."

She didn't especially wish to push her daughter toward it, but she knew that it was likely not going to last forever that Inanna simply thought of it all as "gross." It was better to explain to her now that it was normal and natural, rather than let her flounder in confusion regarding it later.

"Icky, you like doing that stuff?"

She reaffirmed her sentiment on it while posing a question. Grown ups were starting to seem way more gross to her than she thought before, maybe she did like being a kid more if it meant that she didn't have to know about that stuff.

"So uhm... Nevermind."

Her hands were fidgeting even more as she thought about the whole lot of information she'd just got. She'd learned where babies came from, all this icky stuff and now she wondered if Alex wanted to do it with her too. She'd just said to her mum before she got into the talk that she and Alex already did all the things her parents did.

Ninsianna thought it best not to answer that question, even before Inanna made it clear she didn't wish to hear it. That was good, and Ninsianna simply smiled and nodded at that, not wishing to elaborate any further.

"Do you have any other questions, dear?"

She couldn't imagine that Nanna would really wish to know anything more, but the last thing she wished to do was leave her with any unanswered questions. Otherwise, the two could certainly enjoy the rest of their day with something else, hm?

Did she have any more questions? Probably. Did she wanna know more about this stuff? Not really. So she just shook her head as the answer since the cat got her tongue, rolling over to start watching the TV quietly and mull over the information. There was a lot of stuff in her head and she didn't really like a lot of it in there because it was just complicating other things when it didn't have to.
