Re: The Particular Thing and the Knowing Individual [Helle, Ninsianna]

NINSIANNA KISHAR | ALBEDOCHIFFREN DIRECTOR
The obvious concern in Helle's expression and voice might have been endearing, if not for the fact that Ninsianna understood she was genuinely worried about all of what she'd said. Still, Ninsianna offered a reassuring smile, and gave Helle's hand a gentle squeeze as she spoke.
"I assure you, Helle, you look perfectly presentable, and neither Inanna nor I would be embarrassed by you. You need not rush. I doubt they will be gone any time soon, and you will have ample time to meet them."
That was the most reassuring she felt she could say to Helle, to simply tell her that there was no need to worry. Frankly, she doubted that Any of Alex's family would be terribly upset if Helle looked less than perfect. They were a rather straightforward household, not that Ninsianna would consider that a bad thing by any stretch. It was, she felt, one of their very best qualities.

Helle Armstrong | sternritter DIRECTOR
Well, if anything, that squeeze did silence her vocal worries, but that voice in the back of Helle's head remained. Though, it was a simple matter of believing Ninsianna that stilled her changed heart. If worrying proved an exaggeration, then Helle would treat it as such. The voices in her head are the same as the voices of strangers, worthless static.
"If you believe so, then let us prepare. We should bring snacks, maybe a gift. Ah. Many shops are being repaired, and anything food related is being used as rations for the needing. What a particular time for a guest."
Excitement turned into concern as Helle's smile turned into a thoughtful frown. Concerned over meager issues, Helle continued to miss the big picture of the situation, speaking in absolutes and hypotheticals all at once.
