2022 Q1 Character of the Season Nominations

Ninsianna went through a whole development arc this season, reconnected with the reborn form of her former lover and saved them from the clutches of Mazda, upgraded her powers substantially in the process, and tried to be a better mother with mixed results. She's done a lot of important stuff for both her own plot and the wider Vandenreich.

Absolutely fucking phenomenal character growth right here, if ever I've seen it. I think it's entirely safe to say that absolutely nobody expected much potential for Liltotto as a character on PH, and everyone was surprised when Lillian decided to make her. Despite all that, she's turned out to be one of the most well-developed and mature characters not just in the Vandenreich, but on the site. I think her narrative is exceptional, and it's fascinating to watch her grow. She's matured, come to terms with her life, and even become a big girl in her quest to turn into someone better. There's a self-awareness to her that I think is relatively lacking among a lot of characters, and I think her emotional beats are always great to read.

Tough toss up between my picks for nominations but I'm deciding on Ira out of the four that I had in mind since while the others were strong characters I thought that Ira had the most of his actual development and growth as a character condensed in this season compared to the other three. I think as a character he's matured very well, maybe not in the powerscale or destroying entire cities to show his growth but I think there's a definitive acceptance and willing to take steps forward after coming to terms with his er... unique situation as one of the small collection of official women of PH.

Anyway yeah. Good work, keep up the good work little lad...y?
