SHAOLING
Naturally, Shaoling had indeed kept a close eye on Yuujin's pace through the whole run. He'd run it properly, and he'd run it well. She was impressed, but naturally, she wasn't going to be the sort to simply fawn over him with praise or anything of the sort. That would have made her look like some weak fool, and even if she had little else in her life at this point, she still had her pride and her self-respect.
"Good work."
It wasn't difficult to simply return without giving any indication of her presence, or to walk up behind him and put a cup of tea onto the table. She would have scolded him for settling in for a rest, but Shaoling was willing to give him a pass this time. Even if he was reading some sort of literature, it was still a way of expanding one's intellectual horizons. It was better than if he'd come back and laid down.
"Rehydrate and cool down, or you'll feel far worse than necessary when evening training comes around."
Shaoling knew that Yuujin was already aware of that, of course. If he'd been stupid enough not to have that in his head by now, she'd have kicked him out a long time ago. But it was still something she felt she ought to remind him of.

TAMABUKI YUUJIN | HORNET'S DISCIPLE
"Yeah. Yeah. Of course. Whatever," Yuujin found himself mumbling, a book the only thing that kept his attention and manners at a poor state. He can't be bothered to spare anymore of his mental to things outside of what he's reading, especially when tired and in need of a quick casual activity. Soifon should understand. She's seen him like this before. She knows he'll be ready for the evening. Deltora Quest, for not being the best read, has the necessary plot for him to follow. However, there being multiple books has him a bit pissed. He already knows Urahara wouldn't have all of them because, with every library and unkempt archive, things are always missing.
