Did you get Taller? [Shiro/Hisana]

She didn't know what was going on when she noticed that smell. IT smelled.....familiar. So many memories flooded to her mind, it didn't take her long to realize what it was, and when they slipped out into that horrific scene, she couldn't help but lightly move herself behind Shiro, placing him between herself and the burning bodies, her fingers clutching, trembling slightly. The faces were burned beyond recognition at this point. But that didn't stop those countless souls inside of her from seeing any number of loved ones within the burning shells. And it hurt her to see such a scene. It enraged her. She wanted to KILL them.

As such, she tensed up when Shiro began talking about her heading back into the Alley, standing up straight and trying to cling to his wrist. "No! I'm not going to let you do this alone! Whatever is going on ....it's dangerous! I....I don't know who you are. But you're important to Rukia aren't you?! I can't just let you die!" She insisted! There was also the fact that this place might soon be swarming with ...whoever those people were. "The safest place for both of us is to stick together!" She insisted, and he would FEEL a surprising strength in her grip. She might not be a trained killer, but she had lived in Hueco Mundo for hundreds of years. And there was no way she would just...LET this man run off and get himself killed! Reaching into her robes, she pulled out a long knife-like spike. It wasn't entirely clear what it was made from, but it seemed slightly plantlike. Almost like some large thorn. Making it abundantly clear that she wouldn't just run and hide.

Hisana..... felt torn. The look she saw in the young man's eyes. She'd seen it before. She knew that she could help him, she was strong. VERY strong. But this was about more than just strength. This man NEEDED to do this alone. It was important. She'd seen men and women run off to die with those eyes. She'd seen them pull through, she'd seen them fall, but most importantly, never once had she doubted the resolve and need of those individuals to do what they felt they had to. She could not rob this man of his resolve. Not her. Not some....strange woman he didn't know. And for just a moment....she wished she WAS Rukia. Someone who had the right to go and help this man. But she couldn't abandon him either.

As he began to walk off she ....held back, and simply opened her pesquisa. She allowed herself to retreat into the alleyway, and locked onto his spiritual pressure. Keeping an eye on him from afar. As he went off to do what he had to do.




It was ..... a long time in that cold alleyway. Alone with her worries and doubts. She could FEEL the conflict from afar and she focused on it with her pesquisa, gtrying to figure out what was happening from so far away, it was difficult to do. But finally....after what felt like eternity, she felt the fighting finally stop. And for just a moment....she wondered if she should emerge from her hiding spot. Was he alright? She couldn't tell.. She didn't know if he was alright, if he was injured, all she knew was that he was still alive. She HAD to know. She rose up to her feet and rushed down the path that Shiro had gone through, her throat dry with worry as she rushed past the charred corpses that they had moved by before, and sped toward the spot where she could feel his spiritual pressure. An icy grip tightening around her heart as she hoped that he was alright. She NEEDED him to be okay.

She ran over the bodies. Stepping over carcasses strewn all around. She saw them, and thankfully, no memories welled to the surface in a place such as this. In this moment, she was FAR too focused on the here and the now. Her eyes locked onto Shiro as she saw the bloody scene all around him. And as it had so many times before: She felt guilt crawl into her heart. Light.....subtle... she knew it had been the better thing to let him do this alone....hadn't it? Seeing him as he was, she wasn't so sure. She charged over to him and stumbled to a halt beside his prone form, panting, blinking away the rain as she began to search his form for any serious injuries. "Shiro! Shiro are you okay?" She asked, her breath ragged as she began to think as best she could. Checking him over fervently. For injuries, to see if he could be moved. Should she take him to that tower?

She saw the injuries riddling his form and she saw the look on his face. Distant..... unfocused. He seemed to be looking in her direction, but he didn't seem to be focusing on her directly, as if his energy was on it's way toward being fully depleted. He needed help. "It-it's okay Shiro. I'm going to get you help." She breathed, gently moving in and slipping her hands beneath his body. He was larger than her for sure, but she was far stronger than she appeared. Gently peeling him off the ground it took her only a moment to adjust her grip on him. He was far too large to carry fully in her arms. She had to grunt a little, lifting his body up, and then slipping herself underneath him so that he was slung over her back and across her shoulders. To carry him as securely as possible. She took a brief moment to look around, and promptly began to hurry as carefully as she could out of the alleyway, looking for someplace more....open. To try and gauge how far away they were from that place she had been wandering toward before.
