What had she just witnessed. Makoto felt her animosity and bloodlust just evaporate from the jarring shift of events. From pure spite to an impassive looking stillness, entirely haughty in its appearance and she was a mixture of emotions in her eyes underneath that masquerade of composure. There was no actual defining one that could claw out of the conglomerate and make itself dominant and so she was just left with a straight up emptiness since there was too much to truly mean something could be expressed.

"Let's get on with it. I'm tired of the living realm."

Frustration. Spite. Loathing. Humiliation. Admiration? Respect? She couldn't quite place just how much of the negative ones were placed onto Elyss or if they were all just directed at herself with having to accept that she became so caught up in her misanthropy and single-mindedness that her senses had truly become just that dull and clouded to such an extreme.

She hated it, she hated it so much.

Roman watched the chakram roll by with an almost faint amusement. So that had been the gameplan, hm? Not bad. He'd have been caught off guard by that for certain.

"Clever girl."

Lifting Romanova onto his shoulders once more, he kept a stoic face as he looked back to the redheaded shinigami that seemed to be in charge of this operation. If nothing else, she certainly took charge of it perfectly well. Whatever happened now was out of his hands. Maybe that was for the best.
