Re: Meet Me By The Morning Sun [Calypso/Elyss]

THE AWAKENED VAEL
She was silent as she heard Elyss' words, feeling the uncertain pinpricks of her emotion on her body like goosebumps, though her heart chilled as the shinigami mentioned she wanted to go see Algos to discern it for herself. Calypso swallowed - hard, as she held her hands close to her chest. It felt like a set of teeth were gnawing at her heart as she only imagined how an interaction between the two would go. Though she mentioned she wasn't even allowed around here anymore - That was definitely a bad sign, and a tell they should get moving sooner than later. Damn it, Ulv..
As she saw the woman begin to walk away, she hustled across the soft sand, before she caught her shoulder, her hand more touching her to gently yet firmly stop her. If Elyss would look back at her, a serious look was in her red eyes, incredibly so for the girl the redhead once saw. Though it wasn't a look of ferocity towards her, but rather what would be, as her lips would part,
"Ely, even if you may not feel the same way, I like you - as a friend - a lot. And I don't want to see you getting hurt,"
She would sigh, dropping her gaze by shutting her eyes, before opening them once more and continuing, "If you're really going to go see my sister, I have to tell you to be careful. Of course that'd go without saying, but, she... She can seem all charming, powerful, thinking of your best interests... But she's only really thinking of herself. I'm just saying, watch yourself around her, or else you'll probably end up being another person she feasts off of to fill the deep... Dark.. Broken void in her soul. There is something incredibly wrong with her, but I couldn't fix her. I don't think Ulv can either, if anything it could be making it worse with the complacency. I don't know.. If anyone can fix it. But.. She's just gonna tear everyone she gets attached to down until she's satisfied, which may be never."
Slowly, a hand went up to the demon's collar, before gently pulling down. What would've seemed like a strange, unsavory flash, was actually to show the woman the effect Algos had on her - Dark, disjointed, tendril-like markings lined her flesh, seeming to snake down to her chest. Though it was unconventional in appearance, it was obvious as to what it was - A large, ugly scar on the girl's body.
"..Trust me, she isn't merciful when she doesn't get her way,"
The demon looked to the side, covering up the portion of the scar once more as she would cup one of her hands, seeming to focus for a moment, before something would cleanly peel off her palm - A bright purple, little moth-like creature emerging, as she would gently take one of Elyss' hands and place it in her grasp,
"Ely, please, If you need me for any reason, no matter how small, just tell it to find me. Please, whatever you do, be careful."
The woman's eyes were full of feeling as she gazed into the woman's eyes. True, honest concern was practically radiating from her being, as she would then gently avert her touch from the woman, backing away and looking to the side,
"...I'm sorry things turned out this way, Ely. It must hurt, a lot.. For your loved ones to hurt."

ポ ス ト を 開 始
“You and a lot of people…”
She grumbled that part, but Calypso had achieved her attention by grabbing her shoulder. It’s weird to always hear how people want to see her healthy and uninjured. Such hopes are impossible to do with her work, but guess that’s just what people say at face value to feel better. Then, Calypso started ranting about how tricky Algos is. Weird. Is the little demon comparing Elyss to a child? Does Calypso think her incapable of not being manipulated? As if Elyss would ever fall for Algos.
Now, she’s showing her scar. Impressive. Elyss doesn’t feel particularly anything about it. It is what it is. Scars a part of life: a reminder, a reward, a tragedy, a story. All Elyss is getting from this is that she’s dealing with someone who she may have to fight, to the death. Well, at least Calypso is trying to be helpful. Right now, the redhead just wants to return home and get her thoughts sorted. So, she gripped the moth and sighed.
“Save your sentimentalities for people more deserving, like your family. I’m fine. We’ll see each other again, Calypso, so don’t worry about anything. Take care.”
Reaching, she gave the demon a quick pat on the head before she turned and returned to walking off. She’s been gone long enough. It’s time to return home. However, she couldn’t help but let a small smirk grow. It’s funny, honestly. People worrying about her? Life is so weird.
