Within Darkness [Inami/Pharista]

Within Eternal Darkness
All the unrest and instability throughout all realms. Wars and bloodshed, the awakening of death, the pain of loss. The demon world was on the verge of tearing itself to bits, and where had their gods gone? Their creator, who had stood stalwartly upon their side since the beginning had not shone himself since his release. He had not helped mend their realm, and had stood indifferently within his realm. Inami understood that it was not the place of their god to rule them, nor was it his place to coddle them, but the blatant absence of his word, and his choices within this realm had caused this situation to become far more unstable than it could have been.
Inami could no longer stabilize it with her own two hands. She could no longer prop up the decaying, putrefying dynasty that barely held this realm aloft. The lands were without rulers, their queen had grown distant, and her spawn were running rampant across the realms. Inami could bare this no longer, and so it was time she made the trip that she had thought of having for so long.
The darkness was endless. All that lay here was a single door, but that door rose infinitely into the starry sky. It was the door to the deepest layer of hell. The energy of death was thick here, billowing out in waves to dissipate into the myriad layers of hell. It was a precipice after all, between the realm of mortals, and the domain of a god. Truly Inami thought it fitting that this was the legacy that Ravan had left behind.
Even more than that though, Inami felt a sense of kinship with the darkness that surrounded her. The endlessness of it brought her solace, and her golden gaze glittered resplendently as she stared out into it. Maybe it was this feeling of nothingness that called out to her weary, battered soul. The feeling of endless space, and timelessness allowing her in this moment to forget about her many pains and hardships. It let her forget of the worries and apprehension and focus on the task ahead.
”Death is free, Our realm stands on the brink of falling apart. I must speak with you, Heart Of Deveta.” The words were deafening, backed by Inami’s full power and will. There was no malice within them though, merely deep worry, and anguish for the realm that she by herself no longer had the power to save. It was anguish for the denizens that she must protect, even if she did not know if she had the strength to hold up their sky any longer.
This is why she had come here, and not sought out khala. She did not need to speak to a loving member of her family, she needed to speak to the embodiment of their creator. She could not let the rampant chaos go unchecked any longer. Order needed to be restored, and so she had come. An agent of change, a being who wished for the betterment of their kind. To meet the essence of their god.
When her eyes alighted the throne that lay there, before the gates that led to deveta, Inami did the one thing that she had never done in her life. As a being of near godly strength, she had never had to seek help so earnestly from others. Her pride would not allow it. Yet in this moment, Inami kneeled before the throne and uttered the words that she had never thought would ever pass forth from her lips.
”Please”
