The world was filled to the brim with death, destruction, and chaos. Something which her mother may be riveling in. The depths of this madness had steadily drowned out the essence of Neoveta's own original intentions and that struck a nerve with The Princess. Not because anyone pressured her into doing anything she didn't want, but because she was becoming aware of the way her actions were being perceived by the world from that pain she allowed to lead her astray from that former self's goals.
So, to this end, The Princess of Demon World found herself wanting to seek council in fellow royalty. Thus, Chaos Point was contacted a few hours prior to her arrival as the communication left on their interfaces would note that Algos herself was seeking to contact their Queen for a meeting of advisement on the current circumstances of Demon World and how to help her mend things to form a more stable realm.
Therefore, as the sun reached twilight, The Princess arrived in a room with tile floors and large regal windows which reflected the churning colors of plum, amber, and crimson which flowed into the room. With her blood-red eyes piercing through the darkness, the demoness took her seat at a table as she closed her eyes and exhaled a soft breath.
"I am ready. Inami, as a fellow royal, what is your honest opinion on how I should improve as a Princess from here?"

Meeting in the Snow
Golden eyes stared across the expanse, the four posted bed in the corner of the room decorated with familiar plushies. The table in the center of the room seated one other than her, a person who had caused Inami such grief, that she had finally gotten to the point she could not bare it. Yes, it had not been wars, or her personal anguish that had driven the final nail in her leaving shadow fall, no it had been her: Algos Asthavon.
Yet she couldn’t hate her, as her golden eyes stared across the finite space between them, her hands laced together, settled within her lap, there was no hate within her. No, instead there was sadness. Not for the rift between them, but the raw pain she felt within her. Everything that Algos had done to her, hadn’t been done to spite her, and Inami knew this. A lesser woman would have ignored her plight, barring her entry to her abode. A lesser woman would have let algos choke on the sorrow she felt. The sorrow that was so justly earned. Inami was not that woman. Not anymore at least.
She had gained so much more in the past month than she had ever dreamed. A home, individuals who share the same ideals as her, confidence, and most importantly resolve. Algos had lost everything, how odd, that their positions would change so quickly. Yet, the feeling of contentment at such karmic retribution was surprisingly hollow. It was such a pittance, and left her soul as ragged and empty as the day it had been shattered anew. The euphoric feeling of victory that she had hoped to feel when Algos finally understood was not there, instead there was only pity. Pity for the woman who had been given the world, to only allow it to crash and burn to cinder, leaving her only with the ashes of what could have been a glorious future.
It had taken her losing almost everything to understand she must change. To try to open the doors she had so easily left shut-- even if those doors were not the one's she should be opening. How earnestly had she wished for Algos to have learned this lesson sooner? How much would’ve changed if she had come to her before?
A sigh escaped Inami’s lips as she stopped asking herself these questions, afterall, nothing would change from these silly what ifs. Instead, Inami stood up and crossed the space between them. Her bare feet barely touching the ground as motes of darkness arose from each step, much like the miasma that spilled forth from her lips to dissipate into the realm surrounding them. She did not speak, and instead gazed upon the woman who had caused her so much heartache and misery. all she felt was pity.
After a few seconds more of standing there, with barely a foot between them, Inami mulled over all the hurtful things she could say. All the ways she could cause Algos just as much pain as she had felt. Yet none of those things brought her peace, so finally the queen leaned forward, her arms encircling algos’s shoulders to draw the princess inward. The hold gentle and warm as the demon was drawn face first into her bosom, cradling Algos much like a mother might hold a daughter. It was such a tentative grasp that Algos should be easily able to extricate herself from it if she so wished, but in that moment a gentle exhalation left Inami’s lips, as beneath the veil of her raven locks, her golden eyes gazed upon Algos warmly.
”It’s been hard on you, hasn’t it?” The words were soft, almost like a mother might address their child. Or an elder might address their younger. There was such a depth of love and goodwill within that tone, such warmth and acceptance that it was quite literally bottomless. Such was the love Inami felt for her kin.
Inami let those words sink into Algos, to give her time to process the pain that lay within her. The pain at her failures, the pain from the cost of those failures, the pain at losing virtually everything that she held dear. The pain at failing her family. The pain of failing her people. The pain at failing herself. Inami did not condemn her, because she did not need to. She was already condemning herself.
”It’s going to be okay.” Inami said the words that she probably needed to hear most. Knowledge could wait, till Algos had time to let the hurt go.
