Item Description: A radical shift in technology bordering on the unprecedented, the Psymatic Drive, in theory, has the potential to genuinely revolutionize not only warfare, but everyday life in a number of ways. By converting the user's brainwave activity into actual commands directly input to any operated system, a controller removes the limitations normally presented by physical control devices. Of course, the brain cannot simply ordain machinery to obey it without some form of medium, and this in particular requires some form of interface directly between the brain of the operator and the machine in question. Currently, the only system which has been developed suitably enough to operate efficiently is a helmet which completely encases the operator's head, as any opening could potentially allow an incomplete reading of the requisite brainwaves. This helmet is capable of reading an operator's mental functions and parsing them into technical commands for the system of whatever machinery is being controlled.

Upon this information being analyzed by the operator's helmet, this information is then send directly through several fiber optic wires to the actual system being controlled, as a wireless system or a singular wire would have too much potential for error or incorrectly read orders. These wires are then linked into a Psymatic Controller, which is simply an adapter for this information which allows it to be linked into a much broader number of systems. The Psymatic Controller is what examines the otherwise cold, unfeeling machinery and sends it operational instructions based upon the pilot's thoughts. In effect, it is what replaces most other vehicular system computers, as with this system the pilot's mind is the only computer necessary.

Currently, the Psymatic Drive (and by extension, the Psymatic Controller) are not being applied, but with further refinements the Psymatic Drive has the potential for compatibility with any number of possible tools.
