Get Serious, Kid [HAYDEN/LYZA]

Lyza had been anticipating the initial strike the moment that the two of them had started to stretch, so when she saw it, it wasn't hard to side step. Of course she could have blocked or diverted the strike, but given Hayden's innate strength, it wouldn't have even worked out. His punch would have simply kept going right through her defense and the force would have struck her right at her core. So instead, she pushed her body to the side with her legs and adopted her traditional stance.

Her legs were shoulder width apart with one in front and one behind. Every time Hayden's muscles would tense to throw a jab, Lyza would push her weight to the side and twist her body while readjusting her feet to keep her balance. If lazy jabs were all that Hayden was going to throw, he was going to find quickly that she had the experience to see them coming. He'd have to either switch it up or get faster to hit her, because she wasn't going to be hit by something she could see coming from a mile away.
