Hah. Maybe Elyss should have gotten some soul expert or something to look at her instead of just running behind Ulv and trying to handle things herself, but that’s exactly how the redhead is. She’s not the one to bother people with things she doesn’t think need to be brought up if not relevant, and that’s probably a big reason why she’s in the mess she’s in right now. Problem after problem, Elyss kept to herself until it became impossible to handle or proved a hazard to others around her. Sometimes she acted too late which caused people around her to become affected by her issues, probably one of her biggest regrets. It’s a bit too late now though. Things have settled in, and she can only try to fit into the strange puzzle that is her existence.

And listening to your story now, hearing that you know of everything going on inside you and still refuse any kind of expert opinion that might have helped mitigate your issue long before it became an issue, and continue to refuse to get aid even now...I could only assume you were American"
Hannah delivered a scathing retort and then finished off her tea and shook her head.
"If you wish no aid from anyone, then I have scant idea what you have come here looking for me for. I don't have that much money and any contacts I might have had are burned with my departure from Kokuyuteshi"

“Are you calling me stupid? That’s fair. Though, I didn’t really know everything that was going on inside me. I just kind of pushed the little things into the back of my head until they became very big issues, and they became big issues rather suddenly and explosively. Ulv tried helping, but she’s weird to deal with, and didn't really make the best first impression, so I kind of pushed her away. I regret that, but I think you already know I regret a lot. But, that’s just life. Mistake after mistake until you finally get off your ass and do something right, so I’m just hoping to get it right this time. I didn’t come here for any advice. I just wanted to see what had happened to you after that whole debacle with Shadin, say hello and be on my way. Nice to see that you’re out at least.”
Elyss is shifting in her seat a bit. She’s feeling a bit antsy and is ready to move on to something else besides this conversation. As much as she enjoyed being called an idiot, she’s been through enough chastisement and self deprecation. It won’t help the situation, and only makes her feel bad.

"The only mistake is the one you allow to persist. If everything came to the front quickly, then you should have sort aid when it came to the front. If you have yet to seek aid then you should rectify that immediately. It isn't going to go away, you won't wake up one day and find everything better with no imput. You aren't going to find a wish granting fairy that gives you everything you want for free. You need to go and sort it out. Sort everything out. Take what needs sorting, and order it one by one. Things you can handle, things you have tried to handle but can't. Things you have ignored. And then act upon it"
Hannah would lean back in her chair and look to the sky for a few moments, and then glances back down at Elyss. The small eye movements helped keep her grounded, even though they did nothing.
"Alternatively there are people in the world that will take you in and remove all need to ever have to look after yourself. Remove all need to think, ever again. I contemplated it pretty considerably after leaving Kokuyuteshi, but ran into Sou before I finished my thoughts"

“Oh come on now. That’s why I’m doing this. I’m going to get help. I’m taking the time to organize myself and figure out what I want to do with my life, and once I know that, it’ll become easier to get the help I need to get to the life I’m aiming for. I’ve lived my whole life struggling for my goals.”
She stretches a bit and sighs with a yawn afterwards. Ah jeez. Seems all this serious talk has done its work on her mind. She wouldn’t mind laying down right now. Hannah can’t see the tired expression on her face at least.
“Hey, Hannah? Know any good hotels around here before I look up a place to stay?”

Slowly making less sense, it seemed the woman was exhausted, and even aware of said exhaustion as she asked for a hotel about the place. Well, Hannah wasn't just going to let a girl like her wander about on her own without helping out, so she stood up and extended a hand to her.
"No need for that, Elyss. You can come stay at my apartment. It's not much but it's a nice place to sleep. If you are uncomfortable with women, I'll even set up a hammock for myself to sleep in"

Huh? Stay at her place? Elyss doesn’t want to seem a bother, but she does wonder if Hannah would show stubbornness on the matter. Is it worth even arguing? Besides, it’s just one night.
“Alright, I guess. One night wouldn’t hurt.”
Seeing a hand outstretched her felt comical in a way. The blind helping someone stand up? Just goes to show how able Hannah is even without her eyes. Elyss takes the hand and rises wondering how long it’d take them to get to where they’re heading.

Elyss standing with Hannah's help nearly pulled Hannah off her feet. She didn't expect that to happen, just to take her hand so she could lead her. Holding Hannah's hand, it was evident to see how frail and emaciated Hannah was under her clothes. Only through skill was she able to make her face not appear sunken and gaunt. The woman's childhood had severely wrecked havoc on her, in a way that would not be solved any time soon. Yet, she still seemed well adjusted and delighted in her current path. A delightful pillar that disaster was not the end of one's life.
"I'm somewhat tired, so please excuse me for expediting matters" she said to Elyss, channeling her Kido through her and then creating a strange green cylinder in her hand. "Kūkanten'i"
With a bright flash, the world vanished around Elyss, and was replaced with that of a building. Somewhat nice, but not opulent or spectacular. Then she walked over to the nearby couch and gently sat down on it, breathing deeply.
"Please, make yourself at home, Elyss"

Where Elyss showed great strength in her grip, Hannah felt rather frail and pathetic. That’s a harsh way to put it, but it’s an undeniable truth that made Elyss feel bad for holding on so roughly. With her hand loosening its hold she wondered what would happen next as Hannah began her incantation moments before they vanished from their spot. Kido.
Moments later, they’re in an apartment. Elyss blinked a bit, but quickly got used to the new atmosphere as Hannah took a seat. The woman seemed somewhat exhausted from the exertion like she said and Elyss will respect such as she moved to take a seat herself.
“Nice place.”
Well, actually… Can Hannah even see how nice the place is? Elyss couldn’t help but wonder how day to day life goes for the blind woman. With those thoughts in mind, Elyss let her eyes wander before stopping on Hannah wondering about a lot but not voicing anything.

"I'm glad you like it" Hannah replied, a little breathlessly. Her wrist was bruised from Elyss' grasp, though she made sure to take care of that with some Kaido before it was noticed by Elyss. Didn't want her feeling any worse than she already was feeling.
"If you want to get to bed right away, it's in the next room over. But if you want to stay up for some dinner before then I can cook you something" Hannah said, sitting on the couch and mentally cursing her body's inability to be active all day. She felt like a damned old woman needing a nap in the middle of her day.
