Captain Kuro Okami

…Found you.

One hand reached out from the edge of the building, grabbing at the leg of the one who was leaping out of it. Another hand burst forth from the shadows of the ledge, gripping onto the stone. In this sleepy, empty little district on the edge of the Seireitei, a single burst of pure bloodlust echoed above. The one emanating such killing intent currently had his arm latched around the leg of the one jumping from building to building. "What were you doing for so long in the dark...?"

A low, rasping voice asked the one who was now dangling prominently off of the edge of the building. The owner of the hand let his body come all the way out, and she could feel her entire body being lifted up into the air, inch after inch as more and more blood likely ran to her head. "…No Shikai, but out at night like this… with no orders… And in darkness for quite a while… Almost as if you were somewhere the lights weren't supposed to be on…" Kuro Okami's left arm reached down farther, getting a grip on the other leg and hoisting her evenly up into the air.

His grip was incredible; he did not seem to be struggling in the least to hold her up. "…And I doubt you were sleeping… after all… why would you be on a roof…?" The male asked, his right foot planting backward.

Her weight shifted as a result, and then her head was pointed directly down at the building. "…You really do need to eat more…" The rasping voice got out, the shadows around his feet, directly beneath her head, swallowing up his soles.

While she certainly could try to struggle against the Captain, that crippling bloodlust was extremely likely to paralyze her in her tracks. Even the dimmest of humans could feel it when Kuro was serious about ending the life of one who crosses him in this state. The top of her head stopped, just above the stone, and he called out to her.

"…I'm ready, now. You have one hour to prepare yourself. Meet at the Stealth Force's training area at that time…"

With that, the Shinigami Captain let go of her. But she was in no danger of falling. The shadows on the side of the building had extended, tendrils reaching out and gripping her, preventing her descent as they turned her body completely around, putting her back on the rooftop… pointed directly at where she had appeared from.

The next she'd be able to look around, he was gone, taking his bloodlust leaving with him. His body disappeared back into the shadows created by the dawn…

Ikiya Fumitana

Artist: - Song: - Word Count: N/A

This night felt fresh for the picking. The air was fresh and the temperature was moderate. Ikiya can dance through the twilight hours, as she marked her next target. She was feeling rather confident about her talent as a thief. So confident that she didn’t feel like attempting to feast on her subject in one bite. Ikiya took the time to enjoy the freedom that her god bestowed on her. The freedom to take anything she set her eyes on. Such stupid shinigami’s, sleeping while the cat is on the prawl once more. “Fufufu” Ikiya liked working at night, because it gave her the possibility to do the things she liked to do. There wasn’t much security. Her snack sounds asleep in the place of souls. However, even with the ones asleep. Many others were preparing to pack things up and rotate their shift. Ikiya successfully slipped out of the facility that she robbed. She found the opportunity to travel to this place at the right time. Ikiya hadn’t made much of a noise, to attract any sort of attention.

Her small frame and nimble feet made it possible to pull off such a feat. A sharp grin appeared on the corner of her face, as she examined her findings. Truely, foolish shinigamis. With all the things I’ve stolen so far, I can successfully create my very first puppet, but there is a final ingredient that I must find. Ikiya felt like she was above the world and the people that inhabit it, when it comes to the things she was good at. She enjoyed the sight of the artifact that was hand picked, to finish off the progress of creating her own puppet. After stealing the most she could find, even in the most convenient places where most trash belonged. She can now finish creating her very first puppet. However, she needed the dna of a person to seal the deal. Ikiya had enough material to make more puppets, but none that had the ability to act on their own. However, she did little studying on the ability to make puppets more human instead of mindless servants. Once she would make her next mark, which is the land of the living or find someone who has power in the field of sorcerer. She can complete her task. For now, she’s stuck with a prototype of an idea.

Leaping from rooftop to rooftop in order to make a complete escape. She felt something tugging from her leg. The force was strong enough to knock the artifact out of her hand. Sliding off of the roof of the building, unknown to where it possibly landed. “Ngh!” Ikiya let out a grunting sound, as the grip of someone's hand made her ankles feel some sort of pain. Not even aware of the fact that something important to her had slipped from her grasp. The hell! How did he know where I was! Ikiya attempted to fight her way out of the grasp of the shadowy prince, as he emerged from his shadows. Due to his killing nature and his bothersome grip. Ikiya made no progress. She was like a noodle, dangling from the edge of a fork. “Shikai Or no Shikai, it’s not worth showing the might of a knight to lowly mongrels.”

She grunted during each word she let out, as she struggles to break free from his might. Ikiya could almost feel the blood pressure flowing from her head. “Unhand me Mongrel!” She whined, as she felt the blood slowly flowing down her head. Ikiya was beginning to not like the feeling of dizziness. Just minutes through her unwanted tortue. Kuro had let the young girl go. At first she had thought that she was going to fall, but her squirming and cursing was a distraction. Her hands and knees met the warmth of the rooftop, as she tried to catch her breath and let her headache subside. Ikiya was told to meet up with him at the stealth force training in one hour. With that request, he left the area.

“Damn him, making a mockery of me. Not to mention that he touched me and I didn’t even give him permission!” Just as she was venting, she looked around with her neck shifted back and forth along with her head. Huh?” She was attempting to think what she came here for. “Blast! Where the hell did it drop to?” Ikiya came to the realization that the item she stole had slipped from her grip. Ikiya hurried to her feet and dropped herself on the ground, by taking a leap off of the building. “There you are” She sighed in relief, as she searched on the side of the building. She picked it up with a single hand, as she tossed it up and down. I should put this somewhere safe.

As Ikiya managed to find the dozens of stashed belongings, in her hideout. She got herself prepared for Kuro's training session. I wonder what we’ll be working on first She thought about what sort of experience she’ll have as she trained with the dark knight. I hope he doesn’t kill me Ikiya assumed that he won’t be holding back and would attempt to kill her, in his own twisted sense of gathering strength. Those stitches and badly damaged body of his. She was right to assume that Ikiya will end up looking like him. Ikiya took a small detour to the exact location for their meeting. She began to survey the area, with both hands on her hips. “Hello! I’m here!” Attempting to make herself known.

Captain Kuro Okami

The dawn's early light began poking and prodding at the world.

Not ten minutes earlier, the darkest part of the night had arrived. Now they were at twilight, as the sun began poking through. Light and shadow mixed with one another, leaving the world awash in a varying shades of gray. The man who stood at the end of it all had his eyes pointed straight ahead, looking past the building, at what lay beyond. The Stealth Force sparring area was well-worn. The walls were beaten and battered; chunks of the roof had needed repair over the years. Kuro's expression seemed almost… wistful, with the way he regarded this place.

He was completely visible now, within the light. He enjoyed the peace and quiet it afforded, taking each slow breath in, and then out again. He was not in his ragged and bloody Haori. This time, he was wearing a different outfit. A black lieutenant's gi, covered with stains and wipes. They were bright in color, and sat against him in such a way that suggested he was either an exceedingly sloppy eater, or did not bother to wear an apron when he baked.

The comments she made were still a bit in his head. …That’s probably the best way to start. Now she knows exactly what I intend to do… The Shinigami's eyes closed once more at the reflection. I wonder what that thing was she picked up. He mused to himself, before turning his attention toward the shadow that was approaching him.

At this time, at twilight, it was difficult for Kuro to narrow his focus on the shadows of the Seireitei. Everything was so elongated that it left him almost dizzy. "..Hello." He answered her, before turning his gaze to his student. "…This is what you need to understand, before we start." Kuro told her, extending out his left arm. The black, ruined flesh presenting itself to her as Kuro wrapped its digits along the edge of a blade. His Zanpakuto. Before her eyes, red blood seeped out, and still Kuro's expression did not change.

"… This is what I did to my own hand." Kuro explained, looking the woman dead in the eyes, his elongated fingers spreading. "What I did to earn my Shikai. In the Academy, they teach you how to talk to your Zanpakuto. Whether or not you know its name, you can exchange words with it." Kuro's voice was even, the rasping tone reducing with each word. "Nobody will disturb us. In here, you are not alone. It is yourself and your Zanpakuto, against me and mine." Kuro explained to her, extending his bleeding hand as he spoke the words.

"Everyone leaves a Shadow…. Akai-me no Kuroi Inu."

With that word, Kuro's sword darkened, becoming black as night against the twilight. At last, it split, Kuro's bleeding digits gripping against the second one. The blades in his hands began to shorten, leaving two daggers behind. Their blades were black as night, and the handles were marred with black tape, making Kuro's bloody grip easier to maintain against it.

Kuro's body went through a transformation as well. The outlines of his form changed, growing darker with each passing moment. His very presence seemed to.. Decrease. The spiritual pressure he gave off dimmed. And yet, as it dimmed, his shadow began to extend behind him. It grew longer, and longer, reaching all the way to the edge of the training area… and unnaturally, reaching beneath Ikiya's feet.

Lastly, his hair seemed to stretch out, as a white cloak covered the man from head to toe. At the cape's end, a silver mask stretched over the captain's face, covering him in a masquerade. Through its eyeholes, his iris became completely black. The edges of the cape shifted and twirled in unnatural fashion…

There was no breeze around them.

"…This is Akai-me no Kuroi Inu. You are here to learn the name of yours. You are going to have to beg it for help. And for that to happen…"

Kuro's arm fell to his side, dropping his guard as he began to approach. A killing intent unlike anything Ikiya had ever felt from the man began to pound at the edge of her vision, crashing against her will. Kill. Kill. Kill. Kill. Kill or die. Kill or die. KILL OR DIE! Blood dripped from the Shinigami's hand as he continued to approach, the shadows around the training area beginning to spread as they formed into walls, making an arena around the two.

"You have to know that I will take your life if you fight me alone."

Future's Dark, Kid GQQ0343

Ikiya Fumitana

Artist: - Song: - Word Count: N/A

The night outgrew itself as light struggled to pierce through the armour that the darkness wore over its ever existence. Time started to shift as shadows began to emerge over the worn out buildings in the Stealth Force sparring area. Ikiya’s soles of her barefoot had planted themselves on the rough surface. There wasn’t a single soul that warned her about the possibilities of developing blisters. Even if they were to tell her those things. Their words would go in one ear and out the other. After calling out, Kuro. He surely answered right back but he didn’t stop there. He showed her the mark he gave himself, that felt like a symbol to him. The type of training he endured in order to get a Shikai of his own. This creep and his markings His markings were akin to a scratchboard. Reality sank its claws at the dark prince, like he was nothing more than a scratch post to him. They would sharpen their nails, each time he battled. I’m not sure whether to call you a masochist, or a straight up freak...Or maybe both. The reality he brought over the girl, would soon come into fruition as she hadn’t come to realize that Ikiya might develop the same markings.

“The Academy, they did mention how to talk to our zanpakuto’s” She pondered on the thought of how she would make her zanpakuto become a living manifestation of herself. She was told that the process wasn’t easy and it takes time. Ikiya had no idea what form of communication she would need, in order to activate her zanpakuto. Is it like talking to myself? She held zero understanding about how it works. As she worked herself into finding some type of conclusion for this problem that she’s now facing. Her concentration was shaken by the sudden change of Kuro's appearance. What is that? Ikiya wasn’t sure if that was even Kuro to begin with. It felt like a whole different person appeared in the training ground, but there’s still two people standing on the opposite side of the spectrum. Her eyes blinked and her mind went blank. The man who she thought was Kuro, addressed the being that took shape. “Oh….So that’s your zanpakuto, you took the form of your….Whatever” Attempting to piece together what’s going on. Beg it? I don’t do the begging As that thought traced through her mind, she would now be introduced by Kuro’s malicious intent to kill. It was as though those words; Kill, Kill, Kill. Kept repeating itself in her head, as he kept closing the distance between them. The area forged itself into a shadowy nightmare.

The feeling of intense weight couldn’t stop dragging her down. It was difficult to move. Whether it calls me or I call it….Well, let’s see if I don’t die first Ikiya uttered those words, without knowing what she was supposed to do in this situation. Is she supposed to embrace his attack or run like a bitch? She thought about avoiding it, but took to the account that he’s ten times faster than Ikiya. Crap!
