Please play the music for this post. It's important for the setting of inami's mood."
Artist: Citizen Soldier - Song: If these scars could speak -
”I’m not your project to fix.”
Even now, Inami’s love smoldered within, that tentative spark that had been nurtured and lit battled against the everpresent dark. It waged a war within the queen of brutes and yet, the screams and chaos grew muted as the queen’s heterochromia could see the hate and contempt that lingered within Algos’s eyes. It was as if the flame that flickered dangerously within her dimmed as the princess of demon world hurled a blood spear towards her, the very air exploding in thunderous noise as it careened headlong towards the queen of chaya. Even while the queen had done her best to hold back, to not harm those she cared for, it was oh so apparent that Algos did not share that sentiment one bit.
Inami bit her lip hard enough that blood trailed down her jaw and neck as her hand reached forward, the very air distorting around her hand and arm as her fingers clamped down upon the spear that sought to perforate her being. While it would shatter the threads that adorned her hand, and ripped into the muscle and bone, given inami, while definitely the most fragile physically of the asthavons, still boasted an absolutely monstrous amount of strength, it would be without surprise that she caught the seething mass of energy. Her blackened blood stained her arm, covering her blackened armor with dried flecks of crimson. Soon, Inami had tossed the spear to the side as it exploded in the distance.
Inami’s eyes glanced down at her arm, almost contemplatively as the bones within it were completely shattered. Soon, her armor visibly shifted as her helm receeded, the threads that comprised it moving downwards, burying themselves within the arm of Inami asthavon, stabilizing the shredded muscles and broken bones. Inami then opened and closed her hand a few times, the pain that flared in her mind a mere drop in the ocean of misery that was currently assailing the queens heart.
Inami felt betrayed. She had loved her family more than anything, and had been willing to give anything for them. Yet now, seeing Algos before her, fully willing to attack her with enough force to kill her, caused something else to break inside of Inami, who quietly blinked back the tears as Algos went along to talk about how Neoveta who, had helped her when no one else had, had been nothing more than a plaything to her. Even though, Algos of anyone in their family knew exactly what Inami had felt for her. How important Neoveta had been to her, and how close she had come to being irreparably broken when she had died.
It was then that Inami felt the disconnect of Ari. The gaping void that lingered within her where she used to be. The yawning abyss of pain that lingered there where it once had been. It was then that the tiny flickering flame that had been fighting valiantly within her, the flame of her own love, had been extinguished. Blown out by the cruelty of reality. The tears that poured freely from her eyes, and the way the queens eyes shifted back and forth between her heterochromia and the green of her kin, was a clear indicator of how close the queen was to breaking.
Or rather, how much she had been broken. Soon, the roar of cali, the broken little girl echoed, and that was when the last straw snapped. When she could hear her kin crying out for a mother who had been irreparably damaged. When she could feel all the pain and hate that radiated in the air.
She felt empty, she felt sick, the pain and sadness had abated into this numbness that soon pervaded her body in its entirety. When the queen opened her eyes once more, they were dull and dead, like the eyes of a fish, they reflected absolutely nothing. They looked forward at the screaming, hateful woman that lay before them as if they were a stranger. As if they were simply garbage.
When Algos tried to release her concentrated mass of energy, and tried to invoke surpassing law, no more tears flowed from the queen of chaya’s eyes. Even if her body was quivering, even as her stomach churned and she felt the urge to vomit, Her arm cocked back, and the very world around them quaked. The spear that lay in her palm pulsated, 40% of her energy exploded into the world, and forced itself into that one spear.
Another 10% of her reserves pressed inward, fortifying her armor to the point that it would feasibly be able to take the brunt of what was required to be done, and only then, as the world was alight with Algos’s unholy power did Inami’s arm jerk forward, the spear smashing into the energy that sought to move outward.
Once that happened, Algos herself would most likely feel something very wrong happening to her. Inami’s spear, given power by her capacity to shatter the very laws around them, had come into contact with Algos surpassing law. The result of such diametrically opposed forces coming into contact with each other would be simple. The surpassing law that Algos had utilized, in a strained manner at best would be bombarded, crushed, eroded, and inevitably, broken by the massive amount of power that assailed it.
If this came to pass, the backlash would quake the very world around them, disrupting the flow of native energies for a few moments to such an extent, even quincies would find it nearly impossible to absorb these chaotic motes of power. The vast majority of the power of Algos’s blast would be directed up into the sky, where it illuminated the very world around them with a cataclysmic amount of power. The other bit however, would impact the queen of demons, smashing into her reinforced armor, causing it to fragment and char. Blood covered the Queen of chaya in multiple places, charr staining her otherwise moon-kissed skin.
Once the two titanic powers finished clashing, and Algos broke down into a crying mess upon the ground, Inami asthavon doubled over, vomiting out whatever remained within her stomach. Acid with flecks of food and blood emptying themselves beneath her before she slowly straightened back up.
For now, the queen ignored Algos entirely. It was as if the queen could care less about her kins grieving contenance. Instead, Inami asthavon’s eyes focused on the weakened demon who was on the ground below, then above at the massive hand that sought to crash down upon Algos’s form.
Inami’s form moved then, her body shooting through the small space that lay between them, her hand moving up to collide with the palm that sought to move downwards. Soon, a wall of condensed particles formed between them, stopping the advances of Cali before threads exploded into existence, their inky black appearance weaving around Calypso as if forming a cocoon. While Inami didn’t use much of her power, about 1% of it. Given the tensile strength of her threads, it’d be highly likely that the threads were strong enough both in the physical and metaphysical planes, that Cali would find herself trapped within it’s embrace.
”Is this what strength is to you?” Inami’s voice was flat, empty, and monotone as her dull eyes stared at Algos, before she made her way over to the woman and grasped her by her arm.
Then her eyes would level themselves at Arianda.
”Come here.” Once more her dull voice echoed as a large demon portal formed behind her.
Inami then turned her eyes to the portal, minute tremors racing through her body as she fought to keep herself intact. To keep herself whole and sane. Even as she felt like her insides were turning themselves inside out. Even as sickness and misery danced together to the tune of her apathy, so potent that any asthavon could feel how close the queen of chaya was to being irreparably broken.
Even as the tears she wished to cry no longer could fall, even as the sobs she wished would wrack her body failed to come. Even as her body quivered every now and again, dry heaves only barely being suppressed.
Once Arianda arrived, they would embark hopefully to their destination. Mana’s palace. The person who should have come to take care of her kin, rather than her sister.

ULV AUBER| UNIVERSE ON FIRE
Well that was certainly unexpected. Calypso turned into a Dragon, something huge was happening between Inami, Algos, and Arianda, and there was an attempt to shoot down Ulv with the same thing she had just blocked with her Tulpa. Though this time, Algos mistepped, using Ania as the carrier for her power. While Algos might be able to fight off Ulv well enough, this young girl would be wholly unprepared for what she was pointing her blaster at. Deciding to leave everyone to their own things, getting involved there might ruin something, she turned everything to Ania.
Before Ania could fire off the blast, Ulv looked at her. Focusing her presence in the singular woman, Ania would no longer see Ulv's physical form, but instead her metaphysical form. Massive and glorious, the being roiled in front of Ania. Flames everywhere, heat beyond comprehension, and yet not burning. It's imposing size and terrifying appearance implied protection rather than danger, and though the non-spiritual weight was everywhere, it was like the embrace of a mother. Aiming at Ulv would become very difficult as it was hard to tell what was real and what was being created in the heart and mind.
IT'S OK, YOUNG DEMON. NOBODY HERE WILL FORCE ANYTHING UPON YOU The massive inferno did not speak, so much as it did force words into existence with a trembling vibration surrounding them. Though this was purely an illusion, Ulv's capabilities with her will were radical when one lacked the equally radical capabilities needed to fend her off. From this, the great blazing creature would reach forward and offer out a hand to Ania, meeting the attempted violence with gentleness.

The Fallen Angel
Artist: KAIRI - Song: Adrift in the Leaves
Near-Death was definitely one way to put it. She was basically like a foot-soldier to these giants among demons and men; unable to truly be able to contend against them. Especially since her own powers from Mana were basically the cause of her death; Arianda was unsure who to blame. At least, for a little bit. Whoever had targeted all the DE in the area was only trying to save Minatumi; not kill her. She couldn't blame them. But, Algos... Algos had come here bent on doing something to Ulv to get revenge. And, in the end, she winded up causing the worst possible outcome; a child of Eris breaking their seal in order to survive what should have been nothing more than a simple altercation. However, no one could have predicted this. Not Ari. Especially not the pain she felt.
Everything still hurt like hell. Her mind, her physical body. It was like Arianda could feel the pain of all those linked to Eris and the Asthavon's; even somewhat feeling like Mana was reeling from all this. She couldn't say why she felt it. After all, the telepathic connection she had with the Asthavon's, and those with the Seal of Eris, was still present; it just required consent. At least for Ari, everyone else was the same. The little demon, while having at least 50-40% of her energy left felt beat; not really wanting to move. However, she felt a particular pair of golden eyes on her; eyes that she last thought were unable to truly see thanks to her current state. But they stared right at Ari; and she was wholly unable to process the word she heard from Caly's mouth.
Even though there was a rather loud set of combat happening nearby, Ari heard the word as clear as day; however she was not the only one to hear something. Amphilogiai stiffened quite noticeably in Ari's arms. She had heard something too. To Amphy, it sounded like her sister; so much so she had to look at Caly with a look of great disbelief. Had she really heard her? After so many years... Either way, Arianda and her seemed to be looking straight at Caly; entirely wondering what was going on. In her state of half of her energy being gone, the next part missed Ari's eyes; especially since she looked away towards the fight. The next moment, Caly was right in front of her; kneeling over Ari a little.
The demon was a little shocked to see her this close, and to see the black liquid pouring from her eyes like tears. But, Ari wasn't afraid. She simply looked towards her daughter with fondness; raising a hand to pat her on the head to attempt at reassuring her.
"It's okay, little one~ Mommy's alright~"
However, Caly appeared to be shifting in shape further and further the longer she stayed there. It seemed that whatever Ari did, it had affected Caly in a way the demon could not expect. In the moment, she did not think of the effects; she only thought of survival. Which is why Ari could only stare as Caly grew in size until she was a dragon-like being; with horns, six eyes, and made from shadows. However, while Ari stared, Amphilogiai heard that voice again; a voice that made her heart skip a beat.
It was Pseu, it had to be Pseu. No voice aside from hers could make Amphy feel so nostalgic; could make her want to do what it told her. At least, to some extent. She had become somewhat independent in their time away from each other; but Amphy will forever love her sister. Soon, Amphy poked at Ari's sides, shaking the demon from her reprieve. She slipped under one of Ari's arms, and forced the demon to her feet; seeing what was happening, and given Pseu told her to run, moving was a very good idea.
"Let's move Ari, now; before your daughter squishes us on accident."
Ari was not to protest as they moved away from that area with a bit of speed; Ari limping only a tiny bit due to the exhaustion that filled her body. As soon as they were clear, Arianda was able to stand on her own, picking up Amphy and moving just a bit farther away; wanting to make sure they were safe. In those moments, Ari's mind was on nothing but Kita. She thought before looking at Amphy after setting her down.
"Amphy, run home and tell Kita I'm fine. Please, she's probably worried sick; and I don't want her to think she lost me. Go, please!"
Amphy gave Ari a sly grin before she took off down the street; using a bit of the power she has to dash off towards Arianda's house without interruption. Once there, her main objective was comforting Kita and telling her Ari was going to be alright. Meanwhile, Ari had her own issues to deal with. Seeing Algos react the way she did to all of this, it was absolutely dreadful. Sure, she had to get behind some buildings in order to avoid some of the blows between Inami and Algos; but how Algos was reacting... The DE destruction was getting to her. And so was what Ari had to do in order to survive. Indeed, how would Mana react? If Ari had instantly died instead of being injured and able to sever her connection to Mana; things may have been different. But, they weren't because Algos fucked up.
Arianda spit a glob of blood onto the ground; the blood blue as Arianda gave up the guise of her shifter temporarily and assumed her true form. She had only shown it to Kita before, but she was livid. After Ari's brain had the time to absorb what Algos had done, had done to HER DAUGHTER, she was wanting to tear the woman apart. But, she held herself back as Inami handled the situation; glaring with such intense ferocity at Algos. However, soon came a voice that snapped Ari out of her anger; Amphy requesting Ari come home to Kita. Ari had nearly forgotten, and she needed to return home so Kita knew she was safe. Inami seemed to complicate that unfortunately; wanting Ari to come with her.
"J-Just hold up a few moments more... I need to let her know I'm okay. Just... a few moments."
Arianda then stood there, unmoving as she told Amphy to assure Kita that Ari was alright, that she was safe, but apparently she had some... 'family business' to attend to. Which is why, after Arianda had done this, she walked towards Inami; and towards the portal. She stayed in her true form. Kita was the first to see it; and that's all she cared about. Now she was just doing what needed to be done. As Amphy reappeared at Ari's side, she followed Inami into the portal; putting a hand on Caly as she likely was pulled through the portal. To think that she had a child with Mana... Speaking of Mana, Ari hoped what she got from the Queen of Demons was not absolutely damning; because Ari was coming back home even if Mana liked it or not. She had someone to return to, after all.

Calypso didn't think, Calypso didn't know, all she wanted was her sister, and when the first slam of her massive claws didn't result in her being grabbed, she continuously hit the spot Algos had been trapped in, over and over, however half the time her claws didn't even materialize properly, merely phasing through. There was no grace or thought to her movement, she just needed her sister, she was in pain, Sis stopped the pain, therefore she needed her... She needed her... She needed her...
Pain bellowed from her smoky flesh as copious amounts of black fluid roared from her giant jaws, falling upon the ground below like a tar filled rain. Nothing else mattered in her current, instinctive state, other than making the pain and agony stop. However soon, her efforts in trying to grasp her sister were stopped, threads wrapping around her massive, barely corporeal body, causing the beast of an Asthavon to finally let out a true roar of pain and struggle, likely shattering whatever glass windows nearest, though her actual body did not create any massive damage due to it's in between state and her unconscious unwillingness to damage Ulv's city any further if she could help it, she squirmed about in the cocoon of her aunt's creation, feeling trapped and full of fear, her giant, bleeding maw constantly opening and closing with scream-like roars.
--
Amongst Algos' defeated state, it only provided an opening for the sudden sensation of a large snake to cover her body. Though reality would reveal such a creature was not touching the woman, it felt all the real that the large black snake, possessing a familiar presence, had coiled around her, it's upper body wrapped around her neck, not even facing her as a singular red eye stared daggers of disgust into the woman,
"I am quite certain you didn't expect to hear my voice again, Sister."
Pseudologoi spoke the word 'sister' with a sheer amount of venom, whispering in the woman's ear as she spoke, "Are you finally understanding the weight of your idiocy, or must I drill it into your retarded brain further?"
The moment felt strangely self contained, as everything went on around them normally, "Regardless of your intelligence level, which due to this entire situation I can only assume has greatly dwindled, I am only here to ensure you understand just how much you fucked up, and writhe in it."
Her red gaze only grew more intense as she glared at Algos, making the sensation of her snake body tightening around her body all the more present, "Calypso felt genuine remorse for upsetting you so, even if you harmed her, she did not run, she did not even fight. Yet you still brought agony to her. How could you do that to your loving little sister, Algos? Many would kill and bargain for love like that, yet you soiled her. You scarred her because you let your hideous jealousy blind you, your weakness shroud your mind."
She gently paused, her head moving closer to Algos' ear, as she gently whispered one simple thing, "What have you to say for yourself, pitiful princess?"

(I'll make a separate post for Ania. I just didn't feel it was right for her to be in this post @ Wan)
Shit. This was a failure. A crushing failure. That sentiment broke through the heart of Algos as she could feel a powerful wave regret, dread and sadness flowing through her essence. Looking at the devastation caused by her actions, the people that she hurt and the ramifications of this incident to come; it was clear to this woman acting on her emotions was a grave error.
"No. It wasn't supposed to be like this..."
That's all Algos could mutter out as she felt her whole essence in pain by the eradication of an Eris sister from their bond. The marks that these demonic creatures go far beyond the comprehension of the human mind; so her whole being was ruptured in an unending sea of pain. It sank deeper, deeper and deeper into those depths of torment until there was nothing but despair in the heart of The Princess'.
Flashing back to her prior missions from Iceland, The Moon, Madness City, and so many others; this should have been a piece of cake. Yet -- why was it that her mother could just so freely act on a whim and slaughter millions, but she herself couldn't execute a simple revenge plot when her own passion got the better of her? Why was she cursed to be so -- weak?
"...no, it's not strength."
Algos didn't even register any of the attacks at this point. Body bleeding, eyes drenched in tears, mind doused in static; the bloody-eyed princess could only give The Queen a look of defeat. It disgusted her that things turned out this way as the reality of the situation crashed down on her.
"I just...did not want to be alone. I wanted her love for myself. But this isn't what I wanted..."
At this point, Algos loosened her grip on Ania. Not out of a lack of her own inability to, but because it was a futile effort to drag that being into this. If she wanted to be stubborn she could have no doubt resisted, but it seemed the more she tried, the worse the world became. So -- she just surrendered as there was no good outcome from carrying on this pointless battle.
...
'I fully expected to hear from you soon. How could I not after everything I did to her?'
Despite being dragged around at this point, the woman's glum voice swiftly responded to Pseudologoi's words as she only gave a parting look at Ari before she continued:
'...I just wanted to be strong. Neoveta always let things slip through her hands. I didn't want to be that weak little girl anymore. So I did what I felt my demonic impulses told me were right....'
At this point, anyone who was bonded to the Asthavon sister network could hear what was taking place as her pained words echoed out in the mental abyss, but Algos didn't care. As her blood tears started to fall and her body chilled into a cool sorrow, she carried on:
"...don't act like any of you other sisters are fucking angels. We all have done evil in our lives, we are a family of devils and cursed sisters and brothers. Even if I despise mother, how the hell is what I did any different than the hell our mother has inflicted in our lives!? SHE IS THE ONE WHO MADE ME!"
Anger was beginning to intermix in the mind of Algos as she couldn't take the disdain from all the sisters when their mother, Inami, Khala and so many other children of Eris were just as monstrous as her.
'WHY DO I HAVE TO BE THE ONLY ONE SINGLED OUT FOR ONE FAILURE!? IT'S NOT FAIR'
At this point, the energy of The Demon Princess was screeching wild as her body was consumed with anguish. All she could feel was unending pain. This just wasn't how things were supposed to be.
...
But it came to a cease when her bloodied eyes gazed at Cali meekly trying to comfort her.
...
Why? Why was she still trying to comfort her? It didn't make sense. She was out of her control at this point, but she still wanted to see her. It left Algos in disbelief, but a pang of love did break through the pain and she knew making a bigger fuss here would only cause her sister greater pain. And, for their future, she didn't want to be separated from her. So, she bit her tongue and allowed herself to be consumed in the vortex of Demon World.
"I'm sorry, Cali. Even if I got us into this mess, as your sister, I will make sure we will be together and free soon. I love you so much, sister. You did nothing wrong..."
And that was that. Algos did not feel she owed anyone else an apology. If Inami had just gotten out of the way, if Ari didn't leap in to fight and if Ulv had just taken responsibility; Algos would have just made a mess of the city, turned a few poor humans into demons and thrashed Ulv's body until she was tired.
But now?
Everything was so fucked up...and it was all their fault.

ASTHAVON SISTER
ANIA ASTHAVON
Ania wasn't sure what to feel at the moment. She could feel the distress from Algos, the rapturing of the seal from Ari and the immense amount of strain in the environment. Yet -- her mind went blank when the strain from The Demon Princess lessened. Her eyes seemed to light up a bit more, the look of distress eased away and she soon started to barely comprehend the events taking place. She wasn't ignorant cognitively speaking, as her intelligence was still rather high. Mentally, however, she was disassociating to prevent her brain from being overloaded emotionally.
So, the young demoness held no fear when she stared Ulv straight down. If anything, she thought the fire looked amusing and let out a small groan as she clapped her hands. As, unlike her creator, Ania didn't have much of a reason dislike Ulv unless she assaulted her. It is why she made a little dance with her hips, wriggled her arms and gazed over at The Princess being dragged toward the depths of Demon World.
It is at that moment that she knew that is where her family was going.
So she needed to go to!
It is why Ania gave a little curtsy to Ulv. To her, she thought that was a sign of gratitude toward the nice lady for not hurting her. The child didn't feel like dealing with any pain right now. But -- maybe she didn't know? So, just to make it crystal clear, an impulse of gold energy poofed out of the woman's body. And, with it, a feeling of happiness radiated before she waved and started running toward the vortex to follow her creator and siblings.
Things might be a bit scary in demon world -- but that's where she belonged for better or worse!

Please play the music for this post. It's important for the setting of inami's mood."
Artist: Citizen Soldier - Song: If these scars could speak -
”Ah.. So there it is.. The regret. The pain. The misery. “
The thought was dull and dissonant as the Queen of chaya studied the woman who was raving, rambling and screaming upon the floor. Even as her heart felt nothing, even as her dull eyes studied the monochrome world afforded to them. Even then, one emotion ached faintly in the emptiness. It was not love, for right now her capacity for such a thing had long since broken and shattered. The fledgling flame she had allowed to bloom for her dearest niece, and their family having waned and ebbed. The flame that had survived the loss of neoveta, the betrayal of tsubasa and even the slaying of the one whome she had wished to spend eternity with, at her own hands when she had been provoked by mana. Through it all, she had survived, the emotion hanging on just barely keeping the darkness at bay.
Still, even if the flame was extinguished, and the human persona she had worked for so long to portray had been shattered, within it’s dying light, one thing remained true for the queen, and it was why Inami sighed slowly and pulled Algos forward and into her battered and weary arms. It was for that emotion alone, that the queen’s hand gently ran through her nieces hair. Her dull eyes closing as she said in a voice alien to them both.
[i]” Algos.. You are right, we are all inhuman, and yet we yearn for the emotions we can never truly come to understand. “
Inami’s dull eyes opened and looked past them, towards the men that had stopped the chaos from spreading, her green eyes studying them, committing their images to memory before she looked down at the woman who lay within her arms. Her dry voice rasped forth from her lips as she continued to speak.
[i]”I did not come here to judge you, I came here to save you, little one. So long as our blood flows through your veins, even if you hate me for it. I will not allow you to ruin yourself, and I will stop you from doing what you would truly regret. “
A dull pang resounded within her broken heart as she realized she cared very little for the rest of them, as her sadness turned to hate. Only three people could truly sense within their bond just how broken the queen was at this moment. One was mana, One was Khala, and Another Kuanastha. To them, Inami’s emotional state was an endless, unfeeling abyss, and within lay fragments of garbled emotions and dreams she had for their family, her love the crucible for it all that lay shattered and scattered like ash.
When Algos began to scream, her anger and anguish roared across the bond that they shared, and inami’s voice echoed dully.
”You are not a monster Algos. You are perhaps the most “human” out of all of us, you and khala. Today however, you let your anger surpass reason. I came here because you harmed our family, however, it’s clear you already know that very well.”
Once inami finished speaking, the arms that embraced her niece uncoiled and she would look forward towards the reddened abyss, and with all of them stepped through, towards her dearest sisters palace.
Everyone but ulv exits thread.
