The Sharpshooter's Final Achievement? Bankai Training. [Chisei and Daigoro]

Hm. This man was certainly strange looking. He may have been an old friend of Dai's, but there was something about him that Dai never really could put his finger on. Then again, he was the one who had agreed to help him gain bankai, just as his closest friend, Zefonse, had done 600 years previous. He smiled to himself.

And so the cycle continues... With a soft sigh, Dai appeared next to Chisei, the dust slightly raised due to his flash-step.

"I see that you're here already..." He turned and smiled at the man he called one of the members of the Silver Cross. The Stone Cross commander sighed softly, and drew his zanpakuto with a grin.

"So, Chisei. What do you know about a Shinigami's bankai? That's my first question to you. I need to know if you know what it entails. That way... We can be sure. Sure that you're ready."

Heh... to the point, huh? And he's only been studying bankai for a year? That's never a good thing... Dai sighed softly, and then looked at Chisei carefully. A year. Dai took over a hundred years, but then again...

"Yeah, Bankai is the ultimate for a zanpakuto can take. It is also the truest form it can take. For a bankai... it is the form that shows the truth of the matter, and what really lies within the bounds of a zanpakuto's limits. Take my bankai, for example. Runa Ookami, the lunar wolf. It takes the form of the pure defender, the Centurion Wolf. You could call it one of Soul Society's most powerful defense-based zanpakuto, simply because of the range that it can defend against. That's it's true form. That's bankai."

"The way you obtain this bankai is different for everyone too. I had to converse, and to make a deal with my zanpakuto... You may have different ideas, or ways to do it. And then..." The redhead closed his eyes, reminiscing. Heh... It had already been that long?

"Two becomes three. That was the advice I was given, and that's what I pass upon to you. Use it or not, it's the last thing that placed my puzzle together." He turned towards Chisei, and grinned lightly.

So. He was starting on the offensive. Dai sighed, and drew the zanpakuto from it's sheathe. 'Course, he didn't need to say it's name, seeing as he was a user of Bankai. Releasing it caused it to double in length. With a small smile, he then gathered energy in the blade, and brought it up to the projectile... a millisecond too late. The seishou-hakaisha hit the projectile, but the the other end from Dai. Meaning that only part of it was cut off, and the rest hit him full force in the chest. He shouted out, and was quickly knocked back, sliding across the ground.

The redhead groaned, and picked himself up. He watched Chisei carefully, and stumbled slightly. There was something going on with him... already? He should've expected something like that... Dai's eyes narrowed, and he grinned at Chisei.

"Very nice. Bit aggressive, but maybe that's all your Zanpakuto needs..." He sighed softly... and suddenly disappeared. The Shinigami flash-stepped above Chisei, and started to fall, bringing his knee down towards the man's head. If he missed, he'd follow up with an elbow strike.

A connection! He managed to get his elbow onto the guy's head! Perfect... A small grin went onto Dai's face, before he saw Chisei jump back quickly, holding up the gun... with a small ball of Reiatsu on the end. Hm... Dai watched carefully, expecting another single shot... BUT NOT THAT! The barrage came, and it came fast. Dai couldn't react quickly enough, and they began to hit him again and again. 3,000 of them must've hit him by then, and that entire time, he was reaching for something in his uniform.

Got it! The feeling of the kanji on it was enough for him to recognize it. He smiled, and suddenly forced the small card into the slot in his Glaive, while still shielding his face.

"Execute!" He held out his hand into the storm, and suddenly a net started to sprawl out, catching the projectiles within.

"Seal of Holding." He breathed out, and ejected the card from his Glaive. As the Reiatsu in the net built up, he felt it becoming more and more unstable. By the time he was ready to finish that, he'd gathered about... 3 quarters of the remaining 7000 projectiles. He grinned, and inserted another seal.

"Seal of Returning." As soon as he spoke, the projectiles were suddenly turned around. And continued at the same velocity as they had when Chisei had fired them at Dai. The first group collided with the rest of the ones coming in their original direction, causing them to become null and void. The rest? Went straight for Chisei. A good 3500 of them.

Peh. Looks like Chisei was pretty good with his bullets. Damn. The redhead laughed softly, and suddenly noticed the new bullet coming towards him. His eyes widened, and he put his left arm up in a blur, feeling the new burn mark appearing on his skin. He spat out, and then saw the round coming at him, the power being emanated… Not good! His eyes narrowed, and Dai closed his eyes, creating the energy on the blade of his zanpakuto once more. As it approached him, he shouted out.

”Seishou-Hakaisha!” The red-and-white Reiatsu collided with the round, and the pair began to clash. Dai’s eyes flashed with the lights from the collisions, and he began to notice the split.

Yes. He shunted forwards, trying to cause the cut to go further. More… come on… more… He shouted out and dived, the blade of his zanpakuto now slicing through the shot. The two halves shot out either side of him, creating two explosions in the ground behind, Dai’s eyes slightly more feral now. He started to breathe heavily, and went onto one knee.

His zanpakuto, an offense-based weapon, is at equal with my Kiba Ookami, a powerful defense. Their naturally-opposite natures… The redhead laughed softly, and stood back up, still puffing, and rather drained. He looked up at Chisei once more.

”Very nice. I see that you understand what your zanpakuto can do. Be happy – even I’m not completely sure I’ve tapped into all of Kiba Ookami’s powers…” Dai smiled to himself. Time to finish this.

Blood still pouring down his right arm, and a burn mark growing further on his left arm, he grinned widely. The redheaded Shinigami suddenly disappeared once more, appearing in front of Chisei, kneeling down, preparing an attack with his palm. A palm strike to the chin, that’d knock the body down…

But maybe it would also give him a chance to converse with the blade that he currently held. Because that was the one way that Chisei would be able to understand…

Bankai… it was not something to be taken lightly.
