Takehiko had been writing and trying to figure out something to invent. But the question of how to compress kido eluded him. The idea was sound on paper as they'd been able to hide it. Maybe multiple tiered methods of trying to keep it sealed. Perhaps a kido specially designed to seal them into a shell. That was the trouble that lingered in the young Kuchiki's mind. He was in the midst of a transfer at the moment due to his Kaido skills. A rather strange skill set and he had an idea for something. Thus he had no choice but to ask Vice Captain or Acting Captain Jetta Yuudeshi. She was firm and yet he'd never met her during his time here. He had at first wanted to design smart armor to protect people. But this was a personal project given his weakness he couldn't really use his zanpakuto. So he wanted to design a weapon which fired kido. That was his goal and he'd puzzled and puzzled over it. Finally coming to her door he knocked waiting for her to arrive. Making sure to introduce himself now as he was not even a seated officer.
"Captain Yuudeshi, I am Takehiko Kuchiki, just a member of this Division presently." First concluding his introduction he made sure he'd been polite and courteous. He'd not gotten a reputation or anything as of yet for deeds. Takehiko had an idea and it was likely to be the only invention he guessed. "I've hit a wall in my idea to create a compressed kido weapon. The idea is to fire them from the weapon when in need to open possible outcomes for the user later. " He said having designed the weapon and trigger mechanisms but unsure how to answer the big question. As he held out the design for her which resembled a katana. The gun portion was along the top edge of it similar to a revolver in this case. Having an opening for shells to be put in. The top half could be moved outwards to reload in the needed shells. This wasn't a mass production in terms of a build. But something with his noble lineage he could get constructed.
Though he was unsure how any of this really stacked up. Especially with his concept or ideas really. This was also to be his first meeting with the acting Captain of Squad Three. People in the workshop made her sound extremely frightening and scary. As though the woman was a demon of which to fear. So this was very nerve-wracking for him in this case. Asking someone for a favor while the organization was moving you around. Hoping to solve a puzzle that had been perplexing your mind slowly but surely. Takehiko didn't have a solution to this puzzle at this moment and thought maybe learning from her he could find something. Something to help him along in developing some way of doing this.

Today hadn't really been an active day. Yelled at a few people who weren't working, or nearly broke something, called Jetta short; just the normal night. Of course, it was not without scaring the shit out of the members of the Research Squad; at least those who did not work. Jetta, no mature her stature, was quite the frightening woman/girl. However, it appeared something came up later in the day; a visitor. A knock on the door, and it was answered by the 4 foot 7 inches girl; her eyes falling upon the form of Takehiko.
He was new in the research and development areas; and new to the squad itself. But why was he here? Well, that answer was quite clear in a few moments as the short red head stared up at Takehiko. He wished to make a type of weapon that could harness kido without having to cast it; or at least harness the kido in a type of firearm that had a blade attached to the barrel and vise versa. However, the woman had to look at Takehiko with a small bit of scrutiny in her gaze. He was a hard worker, indeed; albeit she has only heard of Takehiko's hard working attitude. However, Jetta soon let out a soft sigh as she gently took the plans from Takehiko; gesturing for him to enter as she walked in.
"So... You wish to create some sort of... Gunblade? Except you wish to use Kido as the 'ammo'; but you don't know how to..."
Jetta looked at the blueprint as she laid it flat upon her desk, staring at it intently as she thought and hummed.
"Well... The design you have is not inherently flawed, it's actually quite the good idea. However, the only problem is gonna be the actual ammo; the Kido. Of course, I am not too certain of the actual way, but, the only thing is that this design appears... flimsy. If you intend the ammo to be Kido, to be technical spells and bursts of energy; you need the weapon to survive multiple, multiple discharges of the Kido. While the design would be fine, you may wish to make it stronger; especially if you go with this same shape of weapon. However, then comes the actual issue of binding, compressing, and creating a cartridge to hold a spell..."
Jetta stared at the blueprint, truly uncertain of what to do with this. She thought and thought, thinking of the types of seals, traps, and even certain bindings made from Kido. She looks up at the man and decides she may try to get his brain working; to see if he can come to the conclusion that she might have for the gunblade; some form of seal or something to hold in the kido and then use a similar pulse of kido to activate it. But, could Takehiko come to that conclusion.
"Well, I can't just simply give you the answer; how would you learn. So, I pose you a question. You may not be an expert in Kido, but Kido is normally cast from the Shinigami; from incantations. Now, Takehiko, how would you bind a spell, a phrase, into an object; how would you make sure that the spell would not backfire? How would you bind a spell to become ammo for a weapon fueled by Kido?"
Jetta still gazed at Takehiko, she wanted him to try and think up the answer instead of being handed it. As hard working as he may be, he still needs to be able to pull himself out of ruts with a few questions; and answers he gives for himself.

Takehiko was happy she'd let him in as he had worked very hard on the design. Hoping for another mind perhaps faster to help him. He'd come to one conclusion on his brain but wasn't sure. Takehiko didn't trust himself enough really and doubted his skills. Especially when it came to stuff like this as he didn't know if things would work. He had an idea for something but wasn't sure about it. Two hundred years old and still a child by many definitions. He could be described as innocent by some people but one thing they all said. Takehiko worked himself until he fell over consumed by his exhaustion. That was one factor that no one disputed when it came to him. Entering her office and taking a seat as he listened calmly. His azure eyes slowly closing as he took in her words. It was he thought though he wasn't certain of the design yet. "KIdo is a specialty of mine and the only conclusion I could come up with. Was that if one were to make a seal that binds the kido into a form of compression. While having the weapon break the seal to unleash the kido, though the user would need to be capable of wielding it. "
The problem came down to something very special and troubling with Takehiko himself. He could not make such a seal as he did not know how. Such things were beyond his realm at this very moment. Takehiko was a skilled kido user and had made two new ones. But they were Kaido techniques and his reputation was as a healer. One who could mend broken bodies and fix people. But this kido spell it just was out of his performing skills at this moment. He also didn't know how to structure the seal though he had considered his answer. Maybe she would have something else that blew his mind. Granted he didn't know until he tried making one. But the acting Captain was a figure most were too scared to ask for help. Takehiko had already been asking and growing by trusting others. So he had gotten his courage up to ask her. Because the only way to grow truly into a good member was to work with others.
He'd been on missions since he was at Shino Academy. Having traveled and gained a reputation for his exceptional work ethic. If not going crazy beyond workaholic status when it came to it. Takehiko could only gulp hoping he'd answered correctly. Smart kid but no faith in himself was the problem. Only when he saw someone in need was Takehiko sure. It wasn't so much that just fear abandoned him and he moved. Sometimes like with Arianda before he really thought about it. Everything else became secondary so he could help people. He hadn't accomplished shikai or even awoken his zanpakuto. That hadn't happened yet for him really. He was training himself tired and trying to become a medic for the Gotei. Building a reputation even here in Research and Development as a talented Kaido user. He'd healed a few people in the Division already as he processed it more. Takehiko azure eyes looked hopeful at her, that he did well with only waiting left to do.
