Takehiko Kuchiki
Ruin was a sword as he wrapped his mind around the advice. She was a partner than one who would fight with him, not for him. He didn't accept her as an object of any sort deciding partner was his only choice then. As she prodded his chest he listened feeling sweat glisten across his body. He'd done better than previously with Jaeden that was for certain. He'd made progress forward and that was important. He listened to her and understood wind powers weren't his thing. They weren't part of his skill set and likely never would be. Takehiko pondered on it for now as he listened his powers were unknown. Taking a skill from her and trying to execute it when it was meant for another. Would be difficult but in seeing it perhaps a clue could be obtained. He exhaled a soft breath now thinking as he looked towards Ulv and spoke. "The issue is I'm unsure of what kind of powers I wield due to my present state. Wudang-an-han would be the wisest move to learn on then adapt around my powers whatever they may be." He said softly showing some intelligence at this moment.
Takehiko understood fully that his powers were unknown to him and he had an idea. Something to push himself forward towards his objectives. But he needed to reach a point where training for that could begin in earnest. This wasn't going to be easy to get to though for someone like him. Takehiko believed hard work would have to be the trademark. For him as he earnestly wanted to clear his father's dishonor and avenge him. But that couldn't be done nor was it close as the moon was closer. Far closer to this place then the gap between himself and that objective at present. Takehiko had to accept somethings that were distant at the moment. Three hundred steps was a long way away from his present goal. The war would resume soon and he intended to join the fray this time. He wouldn't cower away at the home of the Kuchiki. He didn't intend to shield his eyes from the truth in front of him. He would fight and claw for what he desired and protect what mattered.
But presently he felt miles away from the objective of learning his sword's name. Let alone using its power in any regard. Takehiko had Ruin with him now a partner that he hoped would fight with him someday in the future. For now, he needed to give her time and let her adjust. Beyond that, the rest of this was training with Ulv and growing. "I'd like to take your lessons and develop them into precise things around my..skills whatever they are." He said softly but a bit sad to not have a clue yet on where his powers lied. Was he an element like Rukia Kuchiki and his Uncle Tsubasa perhaps? That would make movement a bit easier for him. The question was one that did stick in the young Kuchiki's mind.

ULV AUBER | THE BURNING HEART
"Not everyone is born with every power they will ever wield. My situation is unique on that front, but Mirja had to develop every power outside of her Zanpaktou from nothing. Just because you don't know what you zanpaktou power is, doesn't mean you can't develop new powers, you know?" Ulv exclaimed, wondering where he got the idea of only ever having powers he already had. It was a strange thought. But, not one she was wholly unprepared for. There were few things that Ulv was unprepared for, and the things that she was, just got a punch in the head.
"As for this, you do it like this. First, you take a breath. And then you move" She would take a breath and then moved. "Then exhale" She exhaled. "There are eight such movements, each one drives your breath into another part of your body. Parts of your body that are not normally explored. With this radical and unexpected movement, you'll come to feel yourself a new energy. This, is your Reiki. Reiki can be put to work giving you better speed or easier movement, and the breath Katas will grant you a better grasp of your airways"

Not everyone is born with powers which had been something he'd yet to consider. What if he never gained powers or anything of the like could he still help people? Takehiko had to resolve himself rot that possible outcome. But in the end that would be a hard pill to swallow. He watched closely his eyes focusing intently on her movements. How she breathed, taking in the air through her lungs and dispersing it properly through her body. Sending it where it needed to go which did give him an idea. Takehiko had a conclusion from watching her the question was how to do it. Learning from her was the best option for him as he attempted it. Inhaling a strong breath of air. As much air as he could take into his body flooded his senses. Sending shivers through his airway and around his system. It was all within the realm of possibilities as he began focusing anew. Taking a movement as his breath reached its zenith and the refreshing feel of it came. He released the air finally at the conclusion of the movement.
Unsure how he'd done in this movement, had the breath been too large or small? Had he misunderstood any part of what she said during the explanation? Shaking his head left to right he tried again trying to mimic what he saw. Before he stopped himself entirely, what worked for her may not have been effective for him. Of course, things wouldn't work this well for him all the way. Ulv's body was refined and trained properly to execute these techniques and things flawlessly. His was here to be conditioned to do such, expecting a result of perfect success on the first try was naive. So his eyes closed as he shut out the noise around him. Feeling a black world around his senses though sounds were still there. He could hear Ulv if she spoke and her breathing. He stopped relying on sight and instead relied on hearing. Her breathing was incredible as was the movement that followed it. Taking in breath mimicking the pattern as best he could. The sound of air filling his body and making a move he began to grasp something. But it was still too early to tell.
This wasn't going to be easy to learn for him, but nothing in life had ever been. Takehiko had always believed that hard work trumped talent. So learning by listening in the truest sense was the best he could think of. Was it the perfect solution for him? He was no prodigy or naturally gifted genius so it seemed the best solution. This was the only idea that jumped out at him from Ulv's words. To listen to her body and shut off the distractions. To see what he could hear from her breathing. It was subtle yet held power behind it at the same time. He didn't need to inhale a massive amount like swimming.
Taking in one breath now letting it fill his lungs and circulate around his body. He made a step that was fluid and felt right to him. As air left his lungs slowly he looked around realizing he'd moved. Not thinking about it merely doing what came naturally too him.

ULV AUBER | THE BURNING HEART
"Second set. Inhale. Step. Exhale. Third set. Inhale. Step. Exhale. Fourth set..." Ulv went through the eight sets. Each one a different pair of moves. It was slow and gentle, and mutated itself as Takehiko used it. Every step would be different from Ulv's steps, as if nudged by his internal energy into the best possible place for him. Ulv, for her part, just got mildly painful reverbaration in her energy from having lost her Tai Chi, but Takehiko would discover his Reiki at the end of the sets. It was nostalgic to do Wudang-an-han again, and despite the mild pain, Ulv was smiling.
"Mmm.....there is something new and pretty damn cool that you can learn from this after you have mastered it. But, I am not the one to teach you that" Ulv shook her head gently and turned to him. Some sorrow in her voice now. The song of the lost. She did regret losing her Tai Chi and what it meant to her, what the people in the world meant to her with it. And what she didn't mean now she didn't have it. "I hope you can make your way back" she spoke, a gentle flame in the winter tundra. Somewhat unnerving considering her usual. And then she was off, and gone.

He listened to her voice performing each move as she instructed. Sets were happening as he focused in on the breathing. This was going to be the key to everything, wasn't it? Slip further down this rabbit hole and see what it was. He didn't follow her steps truthfully. His body just didn't have that as he moved to try to feel something. But letting his mind enter a haze of movements. He didn't know how to define what was happening as he tried to find some focus. He didn't notice any leaving of presence from her. He was pouring each sense towards the breathing. The movement going through each set and following a movement. Finding himself locate his movements slowly and comfortably as he moved. This was a new discovery something brand new to him. Senses seemed sharper and more aware as he felt the tug. Progress seemed more and more possible now for him. His journey had only begun in this regard. Takehiko's eyes didn't open as he remained calm and stationary for this. Focusing in on each second of his breathing each moment exploding into a galaxy of possibilities.
Astonishing was what he could think as he opened his eyes slowly. Glancing left to right trying to figure this out. His eyes scanned around shifting as he remembered those movements. He would continue training in that regard to awakening. Takehiko didn't know what he expected when she disappeared. She did so without noise or a sound as always. Danger lurked for Takehiko in this regard he imagined. It wouldn't be something so meaningful without danger. That was the question that lurked in his life. There was a surprise lurking around the world for him. Takehiko brightly viewed this world closely. His goal did seem far off though as he thought about these steps. Could they be applied to swordplay perhaps in some way? Hard work would be needed to refine any such progress. That much was clear almost like a mantra. Takehiko continued processing the steps almost like a dance. Each step leads to a new discovery and hopeful experience.
This was something he had to do on his own as Ulv left him to feel and discover. She knew she couldn't do more beyond that. But he didn't have mastery over this feeling. He had a chance for something perhaps within himself.
