The appearance of a ray of light over the injured and struggling Hollow was obvious in nature to Mifune: Negación, an ability used by Hollows to rescue their brethren in times of need. Once the beast was returned whence it came, the infamous swordsman flicked his wrist and dispelled the caustic evil blood from his katana and turned to face Minatumi Harbor. Though he had just found himself in combat, at no point had he felt threatened so leaving the field of battle would be as simple as walking away for the retired Shadow Fall Banshee.

Upon meeting up with Ulv Auber, his current employer, again Mifune merely nodded in her direction and said a short statement acknowledging what had occurred "Though large, there was no possibility of loss of life; were it not for it's comrade saving it at the last moment the beast would now be dead." After hearing her response Mifune turned and began walking back towards his temporary housing and spoke aloud one final time to the woman responsible for him being here in the first place "Next time I'll let you deal with the small fry."
