• Alcohol: Tetsu’s main reason for disliking alcohol is because it impedes one’s senses, and for a shinigami that is dangerous. One can’t expect to perform at their best while under the influence, so Tetsu simply avoids ever being under the influence.

Fears:

• Snakes: There are no traumatic experiences in his past that have led to his fear of snakes, they just creep Tetsu the hell out. From their beady eyes to their sinister little-forked tongues. But far worse is the feel of rippling muscles under the tepid, dry scales… the simple thought enough to send shivers down his spine and stand the hairs on the back of his neck and his arms on end as his chest tightened slightly. While the mere sight of a snake won’t send Tetsu running for the hills, it will make him anxious.
  
  
• Claustrophobic: Tetsu absolutely hates tight spaces. The smaller the space, the higher his anxiety shoots. When confined to such tight places that moving becomes difficult is when the fear begins to truly show itself. Tetsu’s chest begins to feel as if a slight pressure is being applied from all sides, his heart rate rises quickly to a frantic pace, and his breaths become short and shallow as thick beads of sweat form on his brow. Yes, he definitely has a fear of confined spaces.
