I. Personality Traits
» Personality:
» Immature: Physically and mentally, Izalith is a child. And like a child, she does not hold the world in a very serious tone. Izalith's conception of responsibilities is very different than that of someone who has been seen as an adult by society. There are often things that she doesn't understand, even if it was to be explained out to her she may not see the reason why it exists in the first place.
» Simple: For one to be complicated, one needs to be smart in order to understand the complication. That or be so stupid that only they can understand what they're doing. Izalith doesn't fit into the category of being smart, she knows this and wears it with pride, but she's also not completely dumb either.
With that being said, Izalith tends to take the easiest and straightforward approach to most of her problems. If it can be killed, kill it, if it requires solving, solve it.
» Unforgiving: While most people forgive and forget, Izalith is nothing like that. While she may say that she forgives you, in reality, she is plotting your demise. The worst part about this is that she is easily offended, so many people often find themselves on her bad side upon first meeting her due to something they may have done to her prior without even knowing what it was.
Though this doesn't go to say that she does not forgive, even Izalith can bury the hatchet in due time, it's just either a very long time or highly unlikely.
» Stubborn: Normally if one were to run into a problem they would attempt to solve that problem, right? Constantly trying different options to solve said problem, changing their method whenever the previous does not work. But Izalith is nothing like that. To her, only her plan works and there's no other plan. You can suggest a way of doing something but that's all it's going to be; a suggestion.
Her arrogance somewhat plays into this mentality, Izalith believing that she always has the best plan as it appeals and benefits the most to her. Nobody knows what she wants better than her, and in a way, she knows what other people want as well.
» Arrogant: Izalith arrogance is that of where she has confidence in herself but also has high standards for those around her. In her mind, she is a pretty decent person and a skilled swordsman at best. If one does not live up to being somewhat close to what she sees herself as she doesn't give that person the light of day. They become lesser to her, and those who are lesser aren't really important. Izalith wouldn't go out of her way to go talk to a handful of nothing just to get a kick, she sees her times as valuable.
» Aggressive: A trait she got from her mother, once the Iramasha of War. War is chaos and chaos is bliss in Izalith's eyes, always carving for some sort of confrontation or argument that she can solve with violence. Violence is in her blood, and it's her entire being. To get what she wants, Izalith doesn't mind spilling a little blood, especially since he doesn't have a full grasp on life either.
» Hardened: Mentally, Izalith is prepared. Rarely does she feel anxious or nervous, often going into situations guns blazing. She doesn't care much nor understand why people worry, finding that just getting a situation over with being the best way to solve anything like that. Izalith is also fearless, constantly expecting the unexpected so things like gore or grotesque things rarely phase her.

I. Character History
Izalith Kojima, daughter of the mysterious father Kojima and the late Iramasha of War, Kahai Iramasha. Kahai herself was quite the adventurer, known by her people to often leave the Iramasha Realm for months on end, something that would eventually become years, and never really told anybody. She wasn't necessarily an outcast by her people, but Kahai herself made herself an outcast by never really mingling with the others. She preferred to be alone anyways, but even she had needs.
And these needs were met by Izalith's father. The two had met on earth, the exact location unknown, and they had grown to like each other. As they say, one thing led to another and Kahai was pregnant with quadruplets. Kahai, once finding out about this, had decided to hide it from her lover. If there were only one then she would have told him, but with 4 on the way she had concluded that it was too big of a burden to drop onto him. And with that in mind, Kahai had left for the Soul Society, too embarrassed to go back home bearing a package and yet too scared to enter the Rukongai with her children, a place she does not know.
And so, 9 months later, 5 children were born. Yes, 5 were born, though she was only pregnant with 4. Given that her birth was a natural one, not being aided by anything medical, Kahai had realized that she was slowly dying. Given the fact that she was an Iramasha, she had used her ability to manipulate Aether energy to extend her life by 1 iramasha year and at the same time created one last child, one that would carry on her legacy and would hopefully lead the others.
Izalith, Ludleth, Lothric, and Ysera Kojima were born along with the creation of Sylvana Iramasha. The first four had kept their father's last name to keep the memory of him, but Kahai made sure that they would all treat Sylvana as if she were their sister.
Growing up, Izalith was the clingy one. She would often bother her mother in hopes to aid her in her daily chores. While she used the excuse of "I'm just doing what's right." the truth was that she was just bored and wanted to be away from her siblings. Izalith did not get along quite well with her Kojima siblings, often getting into physical fights with them, normally winning against Ludleth and Ysera but never triumphing over Lothric for the fact that he was just testosterone and thus physical strength.
But she had resentment towards Sylvana, the obvious favorite. Sylvana knew this too, using her last name as an advantage in most verbal disagreements held in the family. Alas, they were still family and they lived together as such for many years. Around the 75 year mark, Kahai had started to regain enough of her power to be able to teach all of her children how to be who they were, not just Sylvana.
It was during the training when each of them truly shined, or in Izalith's case, where they didn't. She wasn't alone, being accompanied by her only brother in their disability to learn something that should have come naturally to them, but this situation had made them hard workers as well. They were the most determined out of the lot to become some kind of hero-warrior that was the best, the one who would stand above the rest in their small, secluded world.
Though it wasn't soon after that Kahai was required to leave, death taking priority over anything. Normally, when an Iramasha dies they return to their element, and with Kahai being the Iramasha of War, it spawned conflict between the siblings. Izalith was the common enemy in this battle, her viewpoint being that since their mother had died there was no reason to stay in the wilds, suggesting that the group go to the Iramasha Realm for the first time in their life, anticipating that they'd gain strength by being in their element. Everyone else, on the other hand, had different plans, some wanting to stay in their home and others wanting to grow out what they currently had. And thus began the war.
Izalith was favored from the beginning in terms of raw power. Sure, when they were younger Lothric had the advantage but once Izalith figured out how to manipulate Aether energy to her advantage, none of her other siblings could compare. And so they fought each other for 3 months before they decided on a final battle. Izalith versus Ysera and Sylvana, the two most responsible out of the bunch.
Iza won, but not without a fight. Ysera herself went down pretty easy, combat never really being one of her strengths while Sylvana almost beat Izalith. The two had a very aggressive style of fighting, but Izalith came out victorious and was granted permission to leave. Though before she left, she offered them a trade: her left eye for Sylvana's left eye. Because contrary to what they had thought, Izalith did not harbor any bad will towards them, she just wanted to see something new in life. She wanted something to remember them by on her journies, something to be a part of her always, and thus she was given an eye.
That was four years ago. Nowadays Izalith wanders the Soul Society in hopes of meeting gifted blacksmiths and swordsmen to spice up her boring life.
I. Natural Abilities
» Inu-Batsu (犬罰, Dog Punishment): Izalith's favorite fighting style (it has to be, why else would it be first), something she had crafted up when she was younger. Unlike her other sword-styles where they are centered around the sword, Inu-Batsu centers itself around the user's agility and flexibility, having no form to how they actually fight.
Inu-Batsu was and still is Izalith's answer to having an unrelenting offense while also being difficult to hit. The style itself is physically noticeable as Izalith likes to hunch over a bit and she may hold her weapon on her back while she's idle. This tends to be very unpredictable due to the fact that every swing has all of Izalith's weight behind it often flinging her across the battlefield. While it does have some good damage if it were to land, it's not too hard to dodge her if one is skilled enough which she is then screwed because she doesn't have a form to fall back onto. Iza tends to get hurt in the scenarios using her body as a tool instead of a burden, sometimes catching blades with her foot or getting stabbed in the cheek to bite down on a sword.
I. Equipment Section
» The Seven Wonders The Seven Wonders are currently a work-in-progress collection of the best quality swords that Izalith has come upon and has had the luxury of owning. This is a collection for the fact that Izalith believes she has the authority to deem if a blade is worthy or not being the figurative embodiment of all blades. Whether or not this is true is up to debate, but she has gone ahead and started it anyway.
(Note: Soul-bound weapons like Zanpakuto or Iramasha Gems are disqualified from this lift based on the principle that they were not forged, just made by the person's existence in a way.)
» Geisha (芸者): Literally translating to "Art person", is a sword known due to its creator. Geisha is often told to be a Masamune sword, which is technically correct while also being wrong at the same time. The sword itself was the masterpiece of Masamune's prodigy who had been apart of his school before his death. While he never went as far as his mentor to the point where he could curse his blades, he was able to make them sort of supernatural, giving them very specific and niche abilities. Sadly, these swords were confiscated during the Masamune sword ban across the nation of Japan some time ago.
Except for Geisha, the one sword he had kept and tied his life to, going on to haunt it and never truly passing on to the soul society, instead of living his afterlife as a blade.
In terms of abilities, Geisha isn't really special. It's sharp but what sword isn't, so its true qualities lie in the quality of craft instead of the number of abilities.
I. Racial Abilities & Skills
» Aether Magic
Izalith has come to attune herself to the element of metal, that being what most blades are made out of. With that in mind, most of her spells are attuned to be supplementary, defensive, or supportive, aiding her in a fight but not directly fighting using spells alone.
Name Of Spell: Iron Rising
Type: Personified
Class: Material
Skill Range: Beginner
Effects: The caster directs a small portion of Aether into their hands which they then place onto any surface. Soon afterward, a 4x4 iron block rises out of the surface that they chose. The height at which the pillar rises off the ground is completely dependent on the user, with the maximum being 10 feet. In terms of defensive power, the pillar has the durability of iron so if one is able to cut through iron naturally then the pillar is no different.
Name Of Spell: Iron Jaw
Type: Personified
Class: Material
Skill Range: Beginner
Effects: A spell mainly used for defense. The caster manipulates the Aether energy around them to form a dome around them that measures to be 10 feet tall and have a 10 feet diameter. Like every other iron-based spell in the chain, this one has the durability of iron.
Name Of Spell: Iron Riven
Type: Personified
Class: Bodily
Skill Range: Beginner
Effects: Through the action in taking a decent Aether Energy into their body, the caster is able to enhance their natural durability by one rank. This effect lasts until the user is dealt enough damage that would have enough force to pierce their skin or 4 posts, depending on which comes first.
» Aether Arts Techniques & Abilities
» Violence Launch: Through the act of not only solidifying Aether underneath her feet but using her legs to launch her once again, Izalith is granted the ability to virtually double jump. After using this for a good portion of her life, something this simple has come almost natural to her, requiring very little from her energy-wise, unlike some of her other abilities.
» Violence Barrage: A technique that allows Izalith to cut down her enemies with some ease. The first requirement of this ability is that Izalith must be holding a sword, anything else that is larger than a sword cannot use this ability and anything smaller has the chance of causing the entire ability to fail.
To begin, Izalith must have her sword sheathed. Following that, Izalith must do one swift strike with her sword and then resheathe it. Upon resheathing, that first attack becomes delayed for 1 post, and then makes that one attack into 10 almost instantly, granted these attacks only deal half the damage of the initial swing. The initial swing does not deal any damage by itself, so the extra damage is not added onto it.
If the first attack used to initiate this ability is blocked or is never completed the ability will never activate. In instances where it's blocked all following attacks are following attacks will then be blocked or deal no damage.
» High-Density Violence: A more swift and condensed version of Violence Barrage. Following the same initiator as Violence Barrage, High-Density Violence, or HDV, requires a much more forceful strike. Where Violence Barrage only needed about 20% of the user's strength behind the blow (allowing it to be much more speed-orientated), HDV requires at least 80% of the user's maximum power to work. If any less is used the attack will backfire on the user. Like Violence Barrage, HDV turns one attack into multiple, this time around making it 2 instead of 10.
I. Aether Class
» Aether Class Name: Blade Maiden
» Aether Class Power: As one would expect, this is a pretty simple Aether Class. The spectrum of it is incredibly limited to only bladed weapons though the way the user creates, wields, empowers, and alters these bladed weapons are completely up to the user.
When it comes to using a bladed weapon, the user has an odd affinity to all of them, seemingly knowing how to already wield every weapon or learns very quickly.
» Aether Class Abilities:
» Weapon Affinity: Whatever weapon Izalith picks up, as long as it has some sort of blade or edge which one uses to damage an opponent, she has the ability to learn how to wield that weapon incredibly fast, bringing her on the level of who has had formal training. The ratio of this growth rate goes 1 week is equivalent to 1 year of training.
Through her ability to learn a weapon, she is able to make various fighting styles for every weapon thereafter, allowing her to make any weapon her own based on the way she uses it. For example, she can have a sword style that exclusively utilizes the sheath, making it a blunt weapon by proxy and yet still hold her own.
» Blade Adaptability: Whenever Izalith picks up a new weapon, she subconsciously infuses her Aether energy into the weapon, causing it to become naturally attuned with her. A weapon that is attuned becomes more like a tool for her and her Iramasha abilities, acting as a sort of medium and becomes more akin to an Aether Armament.
Izalith can take this one step further and study the composition, structure, and build of the weapon by heavily infusing it with Aether energy if she plans on using it as a pure medium for spells, or if she plans on using only the blade aspect of it, bringing it up to a spiritual weapon from being equipment.
» Sub-Aether Class Power: Izalith has no subclass, being very much of a "one-trick pony".
I. Aether Armament
Aether Armament Name: Attelier
Aether Armament Appearance:
N/A (See Abilities)
Aether Armament Abilities:
» Bone of My Sword: Iza's Armament is somewhat unique to other Iramasha, as her Armament is not a set item, hell sometimes it doesn't even have any set abilities.
The way it works is that, whatever item that Izalith is currently holding, is her Armament. This ability, in and of itself, requires Iza to have quite the amount of skill put into her Weapon Skill, as she becomes completely useless when devoid of one. While on the flip side, something as mundane as a fork can become a deadly weapon in the hands of Izalith.
What constitutes deadly is what her rank is, as this ability scales with her as she grows in her Aspect:
- Chart:
- Grandmaster: This is when common objects become supernatural. At this level of skill, she can make the air in her palm into her armament and be able to block some weaker level attacks. Swords in which are of high quality become incredibly sharp, sharp to the point where blood immediately slides off the blade and it can't be held in the sheath due to the fact that the slidest movement will slice it in two. Normal items take the properties of the highest quality swords, granted some items may just shatter due to the amount of power she's putting into them.
Master: The supposed peak of this skill. At this level, anything she holds is something to behold. She can wield a butter knife and still take out an army without its blade deteriorating. Any common object becomes deadly and any weapon becomes feared. In terms of cutting power, she could cut through something as tough as Hierro of an adept level can be cut through relatively easy.
Elite: By this point, Izalith has no reason to use an actual weapon, as the object in which he holds becomes the same level as a spiritual weapon (like a zanpakuto or a hollow mask). The durability is good enough to where it can't be destroyed by normal objects and can only be broken with enough force. (To constitute what "enough force" is, use the durability chart for this level of skill.)
Advanced: Adds a bit more on the previous levels. The object is now stronger than before and has some pretty good cutting powers behind it as well, almost mimicking a normal sword. (This does not downgrade something that is obviously higher quality and the properties must make sense. For example, she can't make a baseball bat cut through wood or something of the sort.)
Adept: The most optimal place for normal use. There is no physical change seen within the item and it works fine a is, only have the added perk of being a spell medium.
Beginner: There's barely a noticeable difference here. The item in question seems to actually be weaker than it's original state and often breaks in a single swing.
Unfortunately, due to her current level in Aether Control, Izalith does not have a good enough grasp on how to use her Armament to stem any specific abilities.
VII. Ether Lock
Izalith has no form, instead of trading the concept for a constantly release, never really seeing the use in sectioning of her power in the first place, especially when she herself revolves around the skill of using a weapon and that can't really be measured and divided as it's just memory.

Will Skills
- Willpower/Determination: Advanced
- Mental Deduction: Beginner
- Focus: Adept
- Comments/Notes: Metal history ending. Also, giving Advanced in Willpower since she doesn't have "determination" in the context of not having anything she feels determined about. From her history you could assess that--if there's something for her to aspire towards or actually care to motivate herself about at all--then she'd presumably exert an impressive level of Will.

Comments/Notes: Character's just been updated for modern Iramasha. Admittedly I'm cautious about the Elite in Weapon Skill; she may be the Blade Maiden Iramasha but that alone isn't sufficient justification. I'm leaning towards Advanced with the history and hard focus on her being all about turning things into weapons and having quicker mastery over any weapon she touches, but I'll approve at Elite for the time being. Naturally, if you RP it appropriately it'll remain, and if not we'll bring it down to Advanced.
