[Marcus and Dellapero] THE BATTLE FOR LONDON (MAIN STORYLINE EVENT) Empty [Marcus and Dellapero] THE BATTLE FOR LONDON (MAIN STORYLINE EVENT)

Marcus watched the scene unfold not but moments after his own arrival, several others had arrived, both against and aligned with this invading horde. But, the greatest relief was certainly in that of the arrival of others as strong or stronger than himself to fight the women who had approached that he himself could not combat, not for the gaps in power, but instead for their gender. No matter the corruption, no matter how cruel or evil, he could never stomach the idea, of causing harm to a woman. It was a damnable factor of his personality at times, having led to near-death experiences many a time before, but it was a choice dictated by his own moral path. But, there was certainly an enemy he could fight, the Espada before him, this man who had revealed himself as Dellapero, an Espada whose number was, in fact, higher than the faded numero he himself had tattooed upon his chest. A pity though, as it was, this Espada before him was no stronger than he himself, thus, this Espada was already weaker than he himself. In all his rage, Marcus spared himself a silent musing of smug amusement. If there was a foe this Espada could have ever been so unlucky as to fight, it was certainly he himself, Marcus, he who was once titled the Legionairre King. Burning hues of rage stared holes through this man named Dellapero, a soul piercing gaze that held within it a handful of millenias' worth of knowledge, experience and horrors. This Espada before him, would either die, or see the light of his ways this day under the might of his own iron fist.

"Your dedication to everything but yourself does only enough to announce your weaknesses to the world....Dellapero. Prepare yourself and may you die a good death this day."

Gladiatoral courtesies were recognized, and the battle was to start, a thunderous crack of sonido carrying Marcus across battlefield before Dellapero, one hand releasing a blast of crimson tide cero upon the Espada before an additional cero made the man vanish once more, behind and ever so slightly below Dellapero's position, extending his arm and releasing the second blast of cero so as to lessen a chance of total escape, two cero approaching a single point at different angles, preventing most all routes from the very start. Yes, Marcus would draw blood this day, this Espada before him would learn the meaning of power, of honor, and of the consequences of the revel in the deaths of others. Again, Marcus carried himself away, retreating from his own cero in an instant so as to prevent any possible backlash effect from the blasts reaching him, appearing well off to the left Dellapero's position.

Marcus watched with a silent gaze, hues searching and scanning through the crimson particles of energy that littered the atmosphere, his reiatsu pulsing to its absolute limit from the very beginning, the faintest of smirks ever present on his face as he remembered the full effects of merely standing in his presence, this arrancar before him, this man who claimed himself an Espada and powerful, would only find himself weakened before the presence of the man who was rightful heir to the throne that leads the hollow race, the man who had suffered under the weight of leadership so as to recreate their hollow world into something greater. Yes, Dellapero would feel that weight upon his own shoulders as he felt the very reiatsu which gave him power was weakened, that iron hard hierro so many prided themselves in, those lusterious steps of sonido and so many other reiatsu or reiryoku based techniques found weak in the presence of this man known as Marcus. In the truth of it, the entire circumstance seemed almost unfair, had Dellapero only been stronger than he in the slightest, then maybe he would've had something of a valuable chance. But now, Marcus, the arrancar that stood with no visible zanpakuto, was all but guaranteed his victory, no matter the strategy, this Espada would come to realize, all of the world's chaos would bow before the might of this arrancar with the faded number.

Dellapero Grance knew what was about to unfold. This would surely be one of his tougher fighhts through the many years he has been in existence. One thing was for sure though. This arrancar under-estimated him. Dellapero could feel some of his power leave him, meaning it must have been an ability of the target's. Such was not good at all for his scenario, but there wasn't anything he could do about, atleats not yet. The true power of the espada lay sealed under death's coffin. Considering overall factors, the arrancar was highly probable of being at an even higher level then himself, atleast while that ability is active. Regardless, weakened or not, Dellapero couldn't afford to slip-up. He needed all his mind and power to fight in this current scenario as things looked abit grim for his case. With the abilities this being has displayed so far, Dellapero began to ponder for a split-second about their ressurection abilities. Though, this was immediately turned back to focusing on his target who...was now directly infront of him. Predicting what was to follow this close proximity cero, Dellapero used extra-spiritual energy to use his germelos sonido to leave a clone, though extremely easy to destroy, in his place to take the damage of the attacks while he was perfectly fine. Dellapero re-phaded directly behind the arrancar as the two ceros clashed over the now obliterated being created by the unique sonido, though it did cost extra reishi to use with this drain effect in play. Judging by the power of those two cero, however, they must have costed a deal of energy as well.

Dellapero Grance toke this oppertunity to counter-attack the one who striked first with utmost haste. The espada sent a swift, powerful, and quick punch directly at the center of the man's back in attempt to damage the spine and lower the movement limits of the individual he was facing. Even with limits placed on his body from the target's odd power, Dellapero's punchs and movements were still quite powerful and just as fast as they were strong. His specialty was the close quorters combat arts as he specialized in strength, speed, stamina, and hierro to levels byond most normal arrancars or even any normal espada. He wasn't going to try anything fancy, yet atleast. Dellapero was only going to use a simple attack style until he could learn about his opponent's style to a higher extent. So far, Dellapero had gathered that the individual was skilled in cero as well as sonido, the second just being recent due to the incredible speed displayed in the first attack. Even while attacking, the espada was scanning closely around him for any other attacks his opponent may have. This was all part of a plan to help him in the long--run of the fight during the later times.

"Soka?"

A curious gaze followed Dellapero's movements, the moment's between the cero blast thrown and the after image created already leading to the typical measure, an attack from behind. Marcus spun on his heel, hand reaching out open palm, intercepting Dellapero's own punch and halting its progression with a flex of the arm, his hand glowing crimson once more and releasing a sudden bala strike from the same hand, aiming to rip Dellapero's own hand off from the small explosion bound to result if the man were foolish enough not to retreat or counter. Marcus eyed the Espada with smug intent, the venom on his voice dripping like a seething ooze as he spoke. "So predictable, the lot of you..." Marcus lept back from the man, his powers still raging at the full of their height, his brow furrowed to a frown. "...simply rush away from the attack and attempt an attack from behind. Such is all the lot of you do, it grows boring after the first few hundred times or so." Marcus lept forward again, his steps carrying him directly in front of Dellapero before he pushed himself into an airborne flip directly over Dellapero, his hands pushing forward, releasing a quick pair of Bala downward at the Espada before Marcus "landed" and stepped backwards once more away from Dellapero, his sensories reaching around him just as his reiatsu pulsed about him.

He felt the muscles in his right arm, the feeling of the pressure placed upon his arm by Dellapero's own punch, even limited, the Espada showed a moderate deal of strength, enough to come just short of matching his own physical strength while the Espada before him was under the stress of his reiatsu. A quick mind thought in the solitude of his own self, measuring the strength used, where it was aimed and the manner in which Dellapero attacked. There was no use of reiatsu beyond that of his sonido, only a physical attack assisted by the speed of a sonido. Perhaps it was simply careful fighting, or maybe this man before him was the physical sort? It was far too early to say, but, even as Dellapero himself were hoping to assess the man known as Marcus, Marcus himself was assessing the enemy, his stance straightened to a proper height, the seven and some change foot man reaching a height above Dellapero's own with relative ease.

With a casual look, Marcus' arms crossed, a look less than impressed visible on his face as he scolded the Espada before him with a tone best suited for the strict father. [color=steelblue]"If this is the capability of the Tercero, then I was mistaken in believing you held any sort of capability..." Powerful hues watched after Dellapero's location with a raised brow, signs of a smug smirk present at the corner of his face as he thought. The Espada before him was physically impressive so far, but far too simplistic as it was. One did not return a cero with a punch, one does not attempt an escape and mediocre attack from behind unless they themselves know their enemy has not a chance of tracking their movements in the slightest. The boy was inexperienced from first impressions, and such was a disappointing one at best.

"A key factor in combat, do not seek to strike your opponent from behind with a single fell blow unless one of two conditions are fulfilled..." Marcus raised his right hand, his pointer and index fingers extended and presented in the hand form of the number '2'. "...One, the enemy is far weaker than yourself and you harbor the full advantage in speed and power. Or two...you are weaker than your enemy and have blinded or lessened their movement capabilities to the point of lessening their reaction time. Otherwise? Well...otherwise you've drawn yourself closer to an enemy who has already displayed a capability in the ways of reiatsu, making yourself the easier target." Marcus' arms folded once more as he continued to reprimand the Espada before him. "As an Espada, I would hope you were more accustomed to combat so as to not make such a mistake."

Dellapero expected his opponent to counter in such away, atleast with the first half of it by the spin of a heel and catching his simplistic attack. He wanted to use this to his advantage, though to do so, it would require allowing the opponent's attack to strike. While the energy glowed in the arrancar before him's hand, Dellapero cocked back his free-hand, making a fist just before the shot would have fired off point-blank at his other palm. Just as the blast was unleashed, the espada, just as swiftly as before, sent his fist forward at the target's nose in a slight-upward angle with all his strength to try and smash it up into the brain. On the note of his own damage, the bala, unlike the target had expected, was less effective then intended, mainly due to the fact that, even while weakened, Dellapero's hierro was amoung some of the best in Hueco Mundo and his durability was also superior to many of his peers. His hand was now bleeding abit with burns marked over the knuckles, forefinger, and top of the hand. The burning stoped bleeding around those areas, but there was still traces of blood coming from the bottom of his palm.

Dellapero watched as his opponent quickly jumped back and made a quick flip over himself, though the next attack was as expected. It was another bala. By this point, the espada was sure without a doubt this man's main specialty was cero and bala, with the data from the fact he could block his previous punch, it was probable they were high in strength as well, though, what he had in store would make even that look like child's play, but that was for another time. Deciding to dodge rather then block, the espada dashed forward out of the bala's path and quickly spun around to get another sight of his opponent as they landed. Noticing it now, the opponent was considerable taller then himself, which was odd since Dellapero was above the height of a normal male. However, it had no real role in the fight that was now.

Dellapero heard the arrancar's words and merely stood there, silent as of the moment, his cold emotionless expression unchanging to the taunts and words of the man. As the speech went on and so forth, the espada intended to wait untill the being halted their mouth before retorting in any manner. By the conclusion of what had been said, Dellapero spoke, his voice the same as it was the last time. "Mistake? No, not at all. That was exactly how I intended it to happen." That would be all he spoke in reply, regarding only the last part of the tall one's words. Dellapero's strategy, for now atleast, was to examin the combat-style of his opponent and examin the power of their abilities as well as how much they could damage him while simultaniously keeping his own style simple to the point that his real method of combat would be harder to decipher untill a later time period. He hated to think it, but Dellapero knew at some point in this he would needhis segunda etapa, though only for a specific moment where his true plans would come into play. He was thinking ahead, actually focusing more on the future then the present, a foolish thing some could say, but it would show later on.

[Marcus and Dellapero] THE BATTLE FOR LONDON (MAIN STORYLINE EVENT) Empty Re: [Marcus and Dellapero] THE BATTLE FOR LONDON (MAIN STORYLINE EVENT)

The Espada attempted a counter, but it seemed Marcus' own movements had drawn him naturally away from the uppercut Dellapero had intended for his nose. So far, the Espada was not impressive in any sort of manner, true, he held a quickness and physical strength about him, but such was all that was displayed in the presence of Marcus. He watched in silence, listened in silence, and readied in silence as Dellapero brought his retort, a stupid sounding child he was. Like all Espada, past, present and future, he claimed to have a higher plan, to have intended everything that truly was a mistake or misjudgment on their part, but such was the product of their arrogance as Espada, despicable beings that they were. But, as pathetic as this man's existence was, he was still before him as if he were a challenge, if such were the levels of power this Espada displayed outside of his release, then he wanted only to see the man release. Then again, as it stood, Dellapero had shown no dependency on reiatsu based techniques, but instead, he resorted solely to small tests and shows of physical attributes. A common man unfamiliar with combat knew this game, it was most likely that the Espada were attempting to draw from Marcus every ounce of fighting style and information from the man before truly dedicating himself to the fight. So, the question remained, how would he approach the man?

A keen eye glimpsed after the effects from the point blank bala that had torn at the flesh of Dellapero's hand. Hierro was indeed an impressive thing, but, at this Espada's level, an average arrancar's arm would have been ripped through, especially under the stress of Marcus' own reiatsu (hierro is limited by 15% as well). But, this arrancar's arm shown only signs of moderate burns and cuts, it seemed that a specialty was revealed, the arrancar's revealed preference, was hierro. At least, that was one preference. Rare it was to find an arrancar that invested so heavily in their hierro unless they themselves were beings of nothing more than physical power, often sacrificing the bulk of their reiatsu capabilities in favor of raw power and speed. It made sense, but, it seemed that Dellapero had made one recognizable mistake in his growth as an arrancar, he did not retain the ability to regenerate. Such usefull information and all from a simple bala at point blank.

Marcus nearly mused to himself over the revalation, at least he wouldn't have to worry about the man regenerating limbs. A smug glare present, he decided that a reliance on his reiatsu would be best suited, to force the Espada into a realm of comfort, to make him see that his power was in cero. Forward charge and leap led Marcus to arrive with hip at head level of Dellapero, hop cocked with leg swinging forward, a kick filled with every ounce of speed and power aimed for Dellapero's head, to crack the skull and to weaken the man. Pushing from his location, Marcus' body performed a half-ways flip from his current location, arm extending downward at the ground, posting itself as his wrist turned once more, Marcus' opposite arm suddenly swinging cross-ways towards Dellapero. A whisper of "Rasgar" and a sudden burst from his hand let loose the deadly reiatsu that would rend through flesh and bone, even through the weakened hierro of this Espada before him. And Marcus gave no time for counter, off of hand again he pushed himself backwards, landing on his feet once more, looking upon where Dellapero was at the moment of attack and senses ready to determine from where he would approach if the attack itself was deflected or dodged.

"If you think yourself capable, I recommend you prove so soon. I will warn, I've not yet met one of yours that can match my cero. And if you've yet to notice, your body is breaking, reiatsu is weakening. By stepping foot towards me, you have signed the first underline of your acceptance of failure."

[Marcus and Dellapero] THE BATTLE FOR LONDON (MAIN STORYLINE EVENT) Empty Re: [Marcus and Dellapero] THE BATTLE FOR LONDON (MAIN STORYLINE EVENT)

Sun Feb 13, 2011 6:16 pm
Dellapero Grance continued to wait in his position for a moment, his thoughts pondering a mistake he may have just made. By allowing himself to get hit by that technique displayed by the opponent, it revealed two things,. One was that his hierro was a main power of his, second, that he lacked the regenerative abilities of most other espada. Such was a weakness of his, but he more then made up for it with his next stage of power, even more so in the one following. Though, they has a consequence for their power as well. That was for then though, now the subject was to examin his foe. Dellapero Grance quickly saw his opponent charge forward with a kick aimed for his head, a physical attack, unlike the previous techniques shown by this being. Now, the espada knew this being had high traces of strength. maybe even enough to match his base-form's. So he couldn't let himself get hit much or else it could take quite a tole, more so then those balas. Deciding to just dodge with a simple method as he had done numerus times in the past, Dellapero pressed his feet against the air and jumped back at top-speed barely evading the kick of the attacker.

Next up was, as always, a energy attack of mass-power which was coming toward the espada quickly. Dellapero couldn't afford any more slip-ups, and according to what he had aquired in information about his target, it would be best to use his true power sooner then later before later becomes never. Dodging, yet again by using the air as a platform, he jumped higher up just over the blast of energy that had passed below his feet. The heat of the energy beam could be easily felt from the distence, but not close enough to actually cause any real damage other then some discomfort. Once the blast subsided, the espada looked down at the being who he had been fighting for about five minutes now, maybe more, maybe less, he wasn't really keeping track. Then came another small speech of advice from the individual. Such actually had a point. He was taking this too easy. It was time to take it up a notch. It may have been abit early for this in a normal occasion, but the espada had enough data to enter the state and if he didn't soon then he would be too weak for it to even matter.

Dellapero Grance focused in on his spiritual energy for a moment and began to speak in the last time his overly-calm tone would be heard, atleast in this fight. "I understand that very few arrancar could match your cero, but there are other aspects to combat other then simple beams of energy. Regarding that ability of yours, I have been aware since the start of the fight. Under normal conditions, that bala you used previously would have had no effect at all, also my speed would be almost a blur to you. The fact that wasn't so was a clear indication that something wasn't right about the current scenario. Now, I know it's abit early for this, but I don't feel like being under the effect of that power for much longer, so this should solve that problem much quicker.....Tear through the limitations of this reality and unvail what lay dead in the crypt of suffering..." This was non-other then his oddly long ressurection phrase. Simultaniously as the words " Unvail what lay dead" were spoke, the espada slammed both his fist together, the steel of the brass-knuckles clashing with a loud clank with few sparks being put out from the force of metal hitting metal.

Dellapero's spiritual aura began to leak out from his body, the reiatsu almost like a transparent flame that engulfed his entire body. The aura was spiked in a way, the edges of it being formed into small blade-shapes that travled along the energy. The brass-knuckles covering his hands and the small, thin hollow-material over his right-eye began to melt like the aura was a flame, melting the two into a liquid-form.The brass-knuckles began to cover his hands and fingers as the gray began to turn into a white color over the period of time that it toke to reach the arm. The mask-fragment, on the other hand, started to encase his entire face aside from the nostril and eyes. It toke onlt a few seconds before his arms and head were entirely coated in the melted material. The liquid spread down the neck and finished around the arms, the process obviously indicating that it would be a full-body transformation. The material went on todo the same to his chest. legs, and feet, only the out-line of his being now visible. In a instant, large spikes as sharp as blades shot out from the liquid at the shoulders, head, elbows, fingers, legs and toes. A odd0looking spike also appeared at the lower-back, being bulkyer and far longer then any of the rest. That individual attachment extended further and at the end, another spike, though smaller by great lengths formed. All that had been formed now solidified in a instant, the blades at the fingers and toes were now claws, the liquis a full-body armor of hollow mask, just like a full-hollow vizard would have , and the oddly shaped attachment toke the shape of a tail reaching three feet in length with the end being 3 inchs. Dellapero's eyes began to glow a sickish gold and red began to appear at miscellanious locations. The red almost looked blood-like, but was even darker then that. A unseen change was that, during the process, his teethe had grown sharper and longer as well. The transformation had finished, lasting about seven seconds, much longer then normal for an arrancar, but that was due to the rapid increase in his abilities taking longer to reach their peak. The last noticable change was that Dellapero now stood at a height of six foot nine, about five inchs taller then before the evolution process.

In this stage, Dellapero's strength, speed, endurance, and stamina had all been massivly increased to the point of being triple that of their previous level. His hierro had been raised even further, becoming five times as powerful as it was previously. Even with the limitation still active, these boosts were of a level unknown to normal arrancar. Open his mouth and showing the razor sharp teethe inside, Dellapero spoke in a new tone of voice, a deeper and more serious sound. "Now..I suggest you do the same. If not, then you won't live three minutes."

[Marcus and Dellapero] THE BATTLE FOR LONDON (MAIN STORYLINE EVENT) Empty Re: [Marcus and Dellapero] THE BATTLE FOR LONDON (MAIN STORYLINE EVENT)

Sun Feb 13, 2011 11:48 pm

Marcus watched in silence, it seemed as though Dellapero was finally ready to rise to the occassion, the Espada falling back so as to release his zanpakuto, a true pity as it was, the Espada was rushing things to an unnecessary level, rather, in releasing, he would press Marcus himself to release, as things stood, and as Dellapero exhibited, to battle brute force against a man whose true capabilities existed around the art of negation and deception, it was most unwise. But, it was as it was, he could not stop the arrancar from releasing his "power" now, the choice was made, and Dellapero began the playing of his supposed trump cards early in the game, the time that came and went between them was short, and the timing was strange in the hour of the release. He could but assume one thing, the Espada was most uncomfortable in Marcus' presence, to have damaged his hierro so easily and so early, it must have been unsettling for the youth, but Marcus, he simply stood and watch in silence, his look of stoic and unfazed presence ever present in his stance and words.

"You disappoint me yet again Espada, he who is quick to reveal is also he who is quick to lose."

Reprimand, it was a skill of his, both verbal and physical, perhaps it was time for the youth to suffer the physical. After all, at this point, no matter how fast or strong the youth's body became, he still came subject to the might of Marcus' reiatsu, to the taint that his body created, and to the fact that, no matter the gain, as it was, his movements, his body, and all of his attributes would remain in the area of manageable. So, Dellapero may have considered his actions honorable in waiting for Marcus to release his zanpakuto, the one that, for some reason, was not present to the eye. But, he would not have it, this Espada had yet to present a skill or reason to qualify for such massive amounts of force. Instead, Marcus would fight him as he was. Perhaps now, brute strength and such was on the side of Dellapero, but was cunning? If the man were so forward, it was not likely. Marcus vanished from his position, a sonido faster than even Dellapero himself could muster bringing the man to an unknown location, senses would have been wild, the presence of Marcus' reiatsu abounding with a sudden increase, just as Marcus himself appeared to the left, his hand brought before Dellapero's face, palm cut and indigo energies screaming their deadly hymn "You are weak...Gran Ray..." Marcus looked upon Dellaper's form with a look of wicked disgust for the man's existence, a sarcastic hint of a smirk present on his face. "...Cero"

The wave of point blank Gran Ray awashed over Dellapero's location, the full expanse of Marcus' powers undeniable, his mastery over that which was cero oh so clear, his affinity for raw destruction obvious. No matter the strength of that Espada's hierro, in the presence of a man who fought against Grimmjow Jeagerjaquez and drew blood and bone, Dellapero's physical defense could have no answer in the way of brute strength. Yes, it was a power that would scald, boil, even incinerate the man's body if he took the full of it without a matter of true deflection or lessening the blast. But, Marcus was not done, he stepped back from the blast itself, arms extended before him as a hail of bala stormed down and throughout the air surrounding the edges of the Gran Ray, refusing to give easy escape to the Espada if he were even so capable as to muster it. Yes, if Dellapero were to attempt to escape, it would not be unscathed, or rather, it would not be so easy to do so, the routes were closed, and the evidence of Marcus' power was ever so prevalent, the mass of his reiatsu stores still oh so filled with an entire fight's worth. If Dellapero were to dwindle this man's stores, he would have to do so quickly, for Marcus mused at his own power and at the pity to be had for the Espada and their Tercero who was most assuredly going to lose this battle.

[Marcus and Dellapero] THE BATTLE FOR LONDON (MAIN STORYLINE EVENT) Empty Re: [Marcus and Dellapero] THE BATTLE FOR LONDON (MAIN STORYLINE EVENT)

Mon Feb 14, 2011 6:19 pm
Dellapero was dissapointed that his target wouldn't even bother to ressurect, it was like forfeiting the match already. Sure, he was still weakened, but he was done fooling around like he was previously with that petty combat style. The cero and bala barrages had been analyzed and such wouldn't be as effective as before. Such would only make this end even quicker. The espada knew what was to come, it had become to blatently obvious. With his new power elevated to such levels, basic cero and bala wouldn't cutt it, that left one option for his opponent to deal real damage. The cero gran rey or a custom variation. He decided to end this fight with a little trick he learned a few hundred years ago by his fellow espada of the former generation. It was a technique that didn't even need his current ability, but it did make it even more improbable for the target to successfully dodge or counter. Now, it was time to set the plans in motion and bring the end of the beginning.

As the opponent vanished, Dellapero merely stood his position. He waited for them to reappear, his senses alert and body prepared to act quickly. The instant his target decided to return with what appeared to be a charging gran rey cero, the espada responded instantly to the spiritual pressure and location. Marcus had come to the left of his being, their hand close to his face, making this all the easier. Closing his pointer and index fingers together. Dellapero would execute his technique just as the target started to speak. He gave the being a warning for a reason. and now they would pay. Sending a quick stab with the two claw-like fingers, Dellapero aimed at the target's throat, more specifically, the dent located at the meeting of the left and right collar bone. Such was also the beginning of the neck. If such were able to hitt, which was extremely likly due to the speed, suddeness, and the fact the target was slowed down from using such a powerful technique, That would cause the pharynx to cave in, preventing the target from being able to breathe. The attack was a simple jab aimed at a complex location. Even regeneration couldn't normally solve the probllem. It would require a highly advanced healer. Doing so in only a moment, before the gran rey cero could fire off, Dellapero vanished instantly using a basic sonido to appear directly behind the target. The assault didn't end there though, if his previosu strike had landed, the espada would send a swift and powerful kick at the center of the target's back in attaempt to break the spine and limit movement. His last action was merely a safe-lock incase the target did counter his two strikes. Dellapero used sonido once more to appear fifty meters higher into the air, making a gap of distence between them.
