The Dragon Rising

Oda Tatsuya
おだ たつや

atsuya was right about it in the end, he couldn't explain to her why he'd returned her energy to her. But he didn't need to be told the time was up. It was something else as he glanced at her listening for a moment before exiting the area. Something she had that Stefan had also. In fact, it was rather interesting to see it again. What was it he lacked as a person now? He couldn't put a finger on or perhaps examine that fact. He simply lacked the presence or things like that of nature. Tatsuya just wasn't sure what it was he was missing. Was it the journey perhaps that Stefan spoke of as he walked away. He could feel the rattled nature of his body within it all. But he didn't feel fear or uncertainty yet again, excited about it. He enjoyed the feeling of fear and such things so much. Why was it that his body felt as though a level of excitement and anticipation washed over him. But at the same time, he knew he lacked something basic and important. This was a clear sense that seemed to be very clear to him.

He'd fought most his childhood and spent a rather efficient amount of time training. But because of this, it seemed that he lacked something in terms of power. Tatsuya could only walk away from this scene with his mind pondering. His journey would hopefully illuminate answers for him. Help him discover the path to a Country of Smiles. But for now that was a distant thought, he had no conclusive ideas or thoughts. This was pretty much the best he could manage here. At this moment it was only a fairy tail in his dreams. Did a blade need to be wielded in order to accomplish this goal? Or was it perhaps a different set of circumstances requiring him to do so. Tatsuya didn't have an answer or premise that stood out for him. It was mostly something that he understood as something we must do. What would the common outcome of it all be in the shorthand? Did he involve himself in battlefields and fight for strength? What was the key to what made Ulv and Stefan so potent figures?

Did they have dreams or ambitions that made them into this? How did he grow from here was a question. But as he walked away exiting the building and leaving the Maid behind. He could only conclude that much was left for him to accomplish. That he needed to find answers to the questions inside him. Otherwise, this entire journey wouldn't lead him where he desired. It would merely lead him to his own destruction. This was an element he had to realize also, fighting many duels and enemies simply didn't help. It wouldn't improve his growth or allow him to do anything. He was a goldfish surrounded by sharks. That was the conclusion he came too after leaving Ulv and the case of Mirja. Now it became about Tatsuya Oda, about realizing just how asleep he had been. That world he lived in was far removed from this one. It was in a location where nothing could reach or perhaps even sleep. Tatsuya had come from a place of nightmares and darkness where only salvation was fighting. But fighting wouldn't be the key to this journey it would be enjoying himself.

And finding the child within that had been lost so many ages ago.
