Healing the World

The goat man's black flames had began to melt through the metal and stone used to create his barrier from the heat as Steiner began to think of some kind of move he could do. In all honesty, his lack of training with his current skill set was really hurting his chances for survival, let alone his chances to walk out of this the victor. He grunted, forging another layer of stone and steal to the barrier as he tried to come up with a plan. Due to the creature's body manipulation he would be unable to just hack and slash it to death, a fact that when combined with his limited knowledge on his own capabilities put him at a distinct disadvantage. Steiner we will only have a single window of opportunity. The abomination will need to stop for breath eventually and at that point it will be your time to lash out at him. "Sword moves aren't working against this guy, he can heal back all the damage...I need a better plan than just slash him till he stop moving!", Steiner exclaimed silently as Sylvia went silent.

Still, using that opening to attack was probably the only sound plan that she could formulate, and in that same boat it also meant that it was the best option. He grumbled under his breath and waited. Every time the barrier would get a little too thin, he would slide back, and forge another layer of metal and stone in front of him to keep the beast's attack at bay. Finally he felt the heat fade and in that moment rolled out from behind the barrier, the goat man didn't have a chance to react as he Crescent stepped in front of him, and kept slicing as fast as he could with his sword. Limbs went flying, black blood flowed across the dry earth that now become muddied with the blood of the abomination, and the goat man let out whines of disapproval at being treated in this manner. After a few seconds, Steiner leaped back to catch his breath, a bloody mess of body parts, and hybrid blood left where the goat man had been.

We have moments before he can regenerate...Steiner, you have the power to defeat this guy. Your father's blood runs through you and the element of earth is your ally...you need to call upon it and draw upon its strength to put this monstrosity down for the count. Focus Steiner...focus on you and you alone, cut out all outside interference. Focus on nothing, but you and the fight. Sylvia was cut off as the goat man's arm slammed into the right side of Steiner's face sending him rag dolling into the air. Steiner's body slid across the dirt as the goat man's body, now mostly reformed, began to step closer to the downed man with the intentions to utterly annihilate him. However as he drew closer, the earth itself began to tremble, and glowing green particles of light began to ascend from the ground itself, halting the goat man's march.

Steiner's body was lifted by the particles, the clothing he was wearing beginning to tint black as his hair began to cascade down his back, and the green particles began to meld with him. Steiner's form began to change, growing in height, and muscle mass as his red hair began to turn to white, faint traces of pink at the ends the only sign that he had once been a red head. Standing before the goat man now was Steiner's true form, his awakening. Tanned skin, a stark contrast to his original pale complexion, was taut due to the muscles which had grown far beyond the limits of what the shorter, and much more naive Steiner could have had. He began to march forward, metallic armor beginning to form on his shoulders, and specific parts of his body, all the while the ground continued to shake. The goat man, in a moment of what must have been lucid thought, stepped back. For the first time it felt fear and it was not a feeling that it was clearly enjoying.

Steiner stopped, moments before reaching the goat man who knew he had no where to run, and stood silent for only a few seconds before his entire body became engulfed in radiant light. The demon began to visibly steam, its body's structure being melted by an unseen force, and its cries turning into the bleating of lambs heading to the slaughter. The creature tried to escape, but as it went to dash away, Steiner was already there. Without hesitation, a clawed hand dug straight through the beast's chest, bringing with it a black heart, the goat man's black heart. The beast didn't scream, it gurgled as the heart began to burn, and incinerate in the clawed hand's touch until finally the heart itself was gone. The beast followed suit, turning to ash while silently gurgling, its last thoughts of demonic sheep, as it faded off into oblivion.
