Consequential Reconciliation (Private) Empty Consequential Reconciliation (Private)

The evening had been long most the people had gone to their rest. The night's slumber taking most into the lure of their sleep. Restlessness was something of the symbol of Tsubasa. He'd gotten used to losing sleep over many situations. His frame sat in the window of the Captain's Officer. A kiseru pipe resting in his right hand as he looked out into the night. How many moons had he spent guarding this place and for what? Was there a purpose to the goal he'd set for them? This wasn't something he could define so easily or call boredom. The Gotei nay, that didn't even cover it. The Unabara were defenders of the realm they protected balance. But could they keep it up at this pace with the situation? His lips gently met the pipe as he sighed exhaling. Oh what a tangled web the world weaved in its complexity. Tsubasa had lead raids and done work for this place. He'd killed and spilled blood in the name of the Gotei. Capturing land and taking homes wasn't something small for him. He signed an agreement on earth but also made a blood oath.

Promises etched in the blood and sands of his world. It seemed like time didn't pass without drawing some conclusion. He was a demon who sat among Shinigami. A villain who'd somehow became a hero to the young. He didn't understand that part of things really. The Unabara weren't saviors or people who did things in the light. They were the darkness the people who brought retribution to those in need. Assassins of the strongest caliber in some cases they were considered the best. With Tsubasa being the world's greatest in the role himself. Knowing how to angle approach and come at fights. How long had it been since he'd contemplated creating poison? In the future, it may have been needed for him to win some of these fights. Kin and Mana were certainly formidable foes. They were past the realm of what he could do. In the end, Monsuta would prove useful in some end or method. His eyes looked at his hand he restrained his spiritual pressure entirely.

This was needed these days to allow for things to grow and prosper. Silent contemplation was the right he had. Khala and Iriko were his faults and he needed to repair it. But he couldn't rush in without thinking or considering things. No longer could he act a child with the power he gained. Tsubasa had to consider everything and everyone. All people were important and played a role in this chessboard. Consideration of many things had to be taken into account. Mana despite her nature and what she'd have people believe. Tactically speaking she was intelligent and a genius of her own accord. Tsubasa could sense it beneath the surface she didn't get that kingdom for anything. Just being strong didn't result in a power structure. No in her case there was much more to the puzzle. In terms of age he was fairly certain she was passed even Yamamoto in age. That would make out thinking and planning around her hard. Not to mention her unpredictability. He exhaled another puff of smoke as his eyes closed thinking on Kin now.

The Iramasha and his daughter, those two were dangerous for the way they appeared. The problem stood in one single light, fighting perhaps one of them was possible. But it would take everything he had, this wasn't a simple feat. He couldn't hope to best both parties at the same time. The current situation was difficult indeed as he laid his head back. Tsubasa would spend hours like this normally and strategize on things. Figure out how a fight between him and them would go. Mental training and preparation for the day it arrived. A strange thought crossed his mind as looked at the stars. For his atonement being alone for eternity seemed fitting. He'd crossed so many lines in life and done things beyond Taboo. Survival was the key for them and it was important. All beings fight to survive in this world, nothing is exempt from that. He slowly reached out towards the stars letting his hand fall to his side. Another Pale Moonlight witnessed alone as it should have been.

His marriages had often failed because the women couldn't reach him. Because they found him difficult to understand to see beneath the layers. The fact of the matter was that Tsubasa's mind and soul were different from others. He was a warrior a being from an age long past. In matters of the heart it was complicated, but drawing his sword or teaching martial skills. That was a simple matter well beyond the nature of love. Was an uncomfortable feeling to know love? Perhaps this was the case for most things but the marriage had never seen venture or gain. Tsubasa continued smoking his pipe and contemplating the world around him. The time and the many things that entered his brain. Age was something strange as a bottle of sake and cup rest beside him. He didn't often drink but this occasion was special. As it was his anniversary of his first marriage. Tsubasa drank in memory to that happiness and its failure. This was his burden to bear and no one else. This was what a consequence for his action should be.

Delusional thoughts and patterns didn't do any good did they in the end? The Gotei was stable with Ibiki's might guiding it forward in principal. Tsubasa began to ponder something Adam had said. Walls built by him alone was the thing stopping him. Yamamoto was a goal of his but now it became clear that was short sighted. He had no goal or ambition now but a single one. Protect the precious flickering lights of his families flame. The Unabara were burning brightly now and able to like an agile flame illuminate the darkness. Files set upon his desk as he looked over recruits. Those he'd suggest for a Captaincy role eventually down the road. All things came with time and effort. The truth was something scarier than fiction. In this case, each of his Division's seated officer and even the Vice were found wanting. They lacked something important that it took to lead men. It wasn't that their experience was found wanting. It was merely they were missing a piece of the puzzle. A leader needed a single thing.

Unshakable Resolve without the capability to be shaken. The leader had to swallow both good and bad. Everything they did fell on their shoulders. In reality, none were ready for that big step yet. Responsibility fell on the shoulders of those who wore them. In front of him hanging up neatly with the symbol of his division was his Haori. Tsubasa had once upon remarked at how heavy they were. It was here he'd begun to understand the true nature of leadership. But he was so naive to things. Believing that an act of strength could solve all issues. That just wasn't the case in any way or belief for anyone. A leader is judged both by success and failure. His resolve on how he handles them are what make him. They lacked what Tsubasa judged as a needed thing presently. It took pain and failure for his resolve to grow. To bear the burden of the past who wore that Haori. Those were members of the Gotei needed to understand. Each haori came with History and respect among other things. Legacies of deeds that were born upon them.

Those who bore the Haori built a legend and outcome based on that. They were important and special in many ways. It took him a long time to realize just how much. This wasn't a plea for understanding as his digits slowly looped around the sake container's handle. He poured himself a traditional cup. The cherry blossom outside his window had bloomed completely. It was a beautiful thing to see among the flowers. He set his kiseru down as he lifted his cup slowly. A small petal graced it as he looked at it. Many years had past and he still cared their aspirations and ambitions. The weight Tsubasa Unabara would bear never seemed to lessen. Did they notice he wondered how many counted on them? Did Mana and Kin see their respective organizations and sense it? Were they able to feel that burden beneath it all. The Queen and he were something else, long-running people. It dawned on him that he couldn't simply go anymore. A strange feeling from doing everything to being a leader.

But this was his role to strategize and prepare for the outcomes. His duty had evolved and so too had he. In those old days doing missions alone was all he could do. For now, the Unabara clan merely was in the building. His family of potential and skill going through its evolution, becoming something more.
