How It Works

Dream Extractor is a Aether Stone that was created by Cirno in order to help Hayato be able to extract the dreams of the world through his power and influence. This value was determined within himself by the magic that Cirno used to bond with him and his soul during their training. So, if he should stray from his heroic path and use this equipment for malicious acts, then this item will cease working and he will lose ALL abilities from it.

Functions

Note: This ability cannot be used on Hayato's self or any alternate version of himself. The reason for this is because it would just become a creation based ability and become too potent for this item. It also forces him to stay on his path of bettering the world with the values placed within Cirno's magic.

Dream Extraction: Dream Extraction is a process that requires character interaction at first. Once Hayato has at least a few post (1-3 post) of interaction to get the gist of what a person's ambitions is, he can use his Dream Extractor to materialize their hopes, dreams, and ambitions into material form.

This does not mean he can create entire worlds of magic that causes the entire universe to change on a whim. He can, however, summon various constructs or abilities from their inner dream world. An example of this would be if someone had a dream to be an excellent cook, Hayato's current level of power and skill can MORE than produce something such as a stove which can oven roast food in order to use the Aether Particles that made it to create rich otherworldly flavors.

However, the situation that comes with this is that these items are often finite. So, while that cook may go on to want to prove himself in the culinary arts, if his ambitions and goals should change? Well, then that item may very well fall to pieces and return back to Hayato. So it's not an ability that should be used unless the person is wholly sure about what they want from life.

As, more than that, they will make a pact with this item and they may lose anywhere from 5-25% of their overall power per item they bind their will to if their values change. This effect is temporary, but can last anywhere from 1-3 threads. This makes it so there is more weight behind these items and Hayato will have to explain the risks of creating his dream items.

Additionally, in terms of offensive usage, the same rules can apply, but more so on Hayato. Since, if his ally faints or runs out of energy before he is done using the weapon, then he has the chance to lose 5 to 25 percent of his energy. This can also apply if something should happen to their resolve, will or values. So, again, it binds him to something tangiable and has risk.

It usually takes anywhere from 2-5% of his power to create these items, but it's not exactly ideal if he spawns too many items per thread. So, if he also intends to use them for battle, it's better to create dream effects that are finite in nature. An example of this will be that if someone had a dream of leading an army to victory, Hayato could extract that vision, generate a missile capable of destroying a small town and throwing it at the opponent to try and destroy them. (It's obvious this will also take up more energy given how destructive it is.)
