Personality: Zack’s personality is what some people call strange. His personality differs on the weather. For example if it is sunny and nice outside he will feel generally happy. If it is raining and cold he will generally feel gloomy. Different personality for different weathers and climates. This makes some people think he is bi-polar. Even though this happens people can still do things to change his personality at the time. All because it’s nice and sunny doesn’t mean he can’t get pissed.

He has some positive traits and negative traits to him. Zack is very mischievous. Not only is he that but he is also a quick thinker. This usually gets him out of trouble. Gaining his trust is a pretty easy thing to do but if you break the trust you have with him it is very hard to get it back. This usually gets Zack hurt. Zack won’t hesitate to help a friend in need either. Some people take advantage of this and Zack seems oblivious to this. Lastly, Zack is pretty aggressive and short tempered. When in fights this sometimes messes him up or makes him pick fights with the wrong people.

A good amount of things get on his nerves. He doesn’t like when people make fun of his height. He knows he is short so he doesn’t need to hear it over and over. He hates generally mean people or people that have no humor because if you don’t have humor or you are really mean you can’t have much fun with other people. The thing he hates most above everything else is being lied to. His parents are responsible for that one. This makes Zack a truthful person. If you don’t like being lied to then don’t lie yourself and maybe people will do the same is what he thinks.

Appearance:

Zack has an athletic build to him. His leg muscles are stronger then his arm muscles which is why he is more fast then he is strong. He has brown eyes and his hair is long, white, and has thick spikes. Zack is 5’1 right now and that’s what the doctors say his adult height will be around. 5’1-5’3. He weighs about 115lbs. He has no distinguishing marks on him right now but as training comes and goes he might get some.

Null Tool/Weapon: Zack has a three meter chain made of steel that he usually uses as a belt just so that it looks casual. When activated the chain gets spikes made of reiatsu on it. On both sides a scythe grows which makes the weapon a Kusarigama. The scythes handle is a meter long and the blade is two meters long. It is made of reiatsu so it can cut through most things a shinigami’s zanpaktou can cut through

Quincy/Null tools: Monolith (Blood Red)- A flat board (comes in any color) that is roughly half a meter by half a meter. This board can be charged with reiatsu and float.

Canteen- Every Null carries around a flask or canteen which is used to store certain liquids or gases to be transmutated or whatnot later.

History/Background: This boy was born in a sky city over North America. His parents were both Quincy and had been affected with “The transmutation not long after the disease began it’s appearance. After they realized that this happened they were saddened. This boy’s parents were the type of people that didn’t like change. They knew they were different now and they let there Quincy ways go. They decided if they couldn’t be what they used to then why bother. They decided to live life like they were human. They settled down in the sky city and got a job like other humans. They also decided they would have a kid. They knew that since they were different that their kid would be different too so they decided that they would never tell their kid of his abilities. They would make the kid think he was human. After he was born though they found that task difficult and one day when he was fourteen he realized that he wasn’t human. He was what people called a Null.

It had been an incident on his parents part. Zack wasn’t supposed to be running. They had told him never to run. As people grow older though they usually grow disobedient or try to be disobedient. Zack had been peering out the window of their home one day and a random boy threw a rock at the window. The window shattered and the rock hit him in the head. Why would somebody even do that? Zack’s parents had tried to isolate him from people. They didn’t want anything to happen that would wake Zack realize what he was. Since he was usually isolated form people rumors had started to spread about him. Rumors that he was mentally ill, was mutated, couldn’t talk, ect. The list was endless. Zack never heard people talk about him like that until today. “What was that for?!” he had yelled while rubbing his head. “Shut up stupid! I’m surprised you know how to talk!” the boy screamed. This angered Zack. He knew what an insult was and he was actually pretty smart. His parents were schooling him and he did well on the tests they gave him. The insult angered Zack and he hoped out the window. The boy instantly ran and Zack chased after him. The boy was faster then Zack so Zack ran as fast as he could. Sadly, the boy still got away. Zack looked at himself. He was sweating very badly. He had never ran like this before and he didn’t know how his body would take it. He then looked at his hands and he was sweating something abnormal. Something coming form his fingertips. His eyes widened. What was wrong with him? He ran back home and his parents had just gotten back form the grocery store. They saw him and they saw what was happening. They looked at each other and sighed. It was time to tell him.

They told him about the disease that spread and about how he wasn’t human. Zack couldn’t believe it. He had been lied to his whole life. They tried to explain that they did this to protect him but Zack wouldn’t believe it. He was made at his parents now and didn’t really ever trust them again. After realizing this he was determined to find more about himself. What could he do with this new power he had? His parents said they wouldn’t help him and he accepted that. He decided that he would have to leave though. So he snuck away. He stole some money from his parents, packed his bags and left. He traveled around and tried to learn as much as he could but not many people would help him. They brushed him to the side since he was pretty young. Some said he needed to become an apprentice, find someone who had the time on their hands to help him. He Didn’t even know what that meant. He traveled all the way to the popular Kakura Town before someone finally gave him something to go off of. They told him about these two boys that had a shop on the outskirts of the place. He found out that they were Nulls and he hoped that maybe they could help him.

He went where the man had told him. And there was a shop there. He wandered in and looked around. To most people he looked like a raggedy, homeless, scavenger. He was dirty and his clothes were torn. He looked like he shouldn’t be in a shop at all. After walking in he saw two boys and he realized that they must have been the boys the man had talked about. Zack didn’t know what to say. He was glad they spoke first. They welcomed him to the shop. He walked over to them and introduced himself and told them his story. They seemed to listen. Then they introduced themselves. Zack didn’t want to ask them plain out but he couldn’t figure out any other way to ask. “Can I be either of you two’s apprentice? I want to learn more about my gift.” he said and looked at the ground. He looked like a little kid the way he looked at the ground. They brothers talked between themselves and then Nikilo spoke. He said he would take Zack as an apprentice if Zack could be useful somehow. Zack didn’t see this coming and his happiness faded as he thought about what he could do. He was fifteen and short. He felt useless. He said he could help around the place. Whether it be cleaning, or helping out with the store, or something else. Zack said he would do whatever Nikilo wanted him to do if he took him on as an apprentice. Nikilo accepted Zack and now Zack lives with them and does exactly what he said he would. Whatever they needed him to.

What a pain! Then again this was what he had agreed to. Zack Williams sat against one of the many shelves that he had stacked stuff on and in. He let his head lean against the shelf. Bad mistake. Something on the shelf fell and that caused a chain reaction of many things to fall. Zack groaned for a moment but stopped suddenly because he was hit in the head with a can. He picked it up off the ground and looked at it. It must have opened when it fell. He shrugged and found the top. He popped the top back on and sat it back on the shelf for some unlucky customer to get. He rubbed his head where he had been hit. That hurt pretty bad. He then walked down the aisle that the stuff had fallen on. Not much was damaged and for that he was thankful. He didn’t need his mentor yelling at him right now. He was trying to do good but it seemed everything was going against him right now. He walked by a mirror and stopped.

Oh god please no! He took a few steps backwards and his jaw dropped. His hair! It was no longer white! Instead it was changing colors. Could that be a reaction to the stuff that fell on his head. He looked like freak! Now he was 15, 5’1, and had color changing hair. “What did I ever do?” he asked himself before letting go of his grip on his hair. He rubbed his hand down on his face. Now he had a color changing line on his face. What the heck?! What was the stuff? Zack had paid no attention to the name and now that the top was on the container it looked like all the others. He sighed. Maybe this stuff would wash out. He ran down to a sink in the house. He quickly turned on the water. He didn’t care if was cold or hot. First, he put his hair under it and then let water run down his face. The water was cold but whatever it took to get this mess off. He rubbed the water off of his eyes and looked at the mirror in front of him. His jaw dropped again. The stuff had spread now. Now his whole face was changing colors. He was like a human rainbow. He slowly walked out of the bathroom, looking at the ground. Just out of his glance he sa what his legs were now changing colors and so where his arms.

He stomped on the floor. Why did everything happen to him? He had to get someone to make this stop. He decided he would consult his mentor Nikilo. He hoped Nikilo didn’t laugh to hard when he saw this sight. He wondered where his mentor was. Maybe he should have found him first before doing anything. Oh well. It was too late now. He then went to the task of searching around the house to find his teacher and hopefully end up getting whatever it was that was doing this, off of him.
